Objective To study the efficacy of radiotherapy combined with cisplatin and 5-fluorouraci concurrent chemoradiotherapy on locally advanced esophageal carcinoma. Methods 80 cases with locally advanced esophageal carcinoma collected in our hospital from September 2002 to December 2011 were divided into combination group and radiotherapy group, each had 40 cases. Patients of combination group were given radiotherapy combined with DDP and 5-FU, while radiotherapy group were only adopted radiation therapy. The efifcacy and the safety of the therapy methods were evaluated. Results The treatment effect of the chemoradiotherapy on locally advanced esophageal carcinoma was obvious. The efifcacy of combination group was 90.0%, and radiotherapy was only 72.5%, the difference was signiifcant(P<0.01). The survival rate of combination group was 33%, higher than 24.4%of radiotherapy group. The adverse reactions of combination group were higher than radiotherapy group, but most of which were light, and could be eliminated after active treatment. Conclusion The radiotherapy combined with DDP and 5-FU can enhance the efifcacy and survival rate of patients with locally advanced esophageal carcinoma, and also cause an increase in adverse reactions, which can be controlled effectively.

AIM: To analyse the effect of Guipi Granule and serum that contains drug on rat's liver. METHODS: Isolated rat's liver perfusion model was used in the experiment for determining AST and ALT content. RESULTS: Middle and low concentration of Guipi Granule (2.5、5.0g/L) didn't cause any chang of enzyme AST、ALT content in isolated rat's liver perfusion liquid. The effect of serum was not different from Guipi Granule groups and control groups. CONCLUSION: The result shows that Guipi Granule doesn't cause damage to the liver cell.

An integration of medical data management system based on WEB and data mining tool is reportedly in this paper. In the application process of this system, web-based medical data mining user sends requests to the server by using client browser with http protocol, the commands are then received by the server and the server calls the data mining tools remote object for data processing, and the results are sent back to the customer browser through the http protocol and presented to the user. In order to prove the feasibility of the proposed solution, the test is done under the NET platform by using SAS and SPSS, and the detail steps are given. By the practical test, it was proved that the web-based data mining tool integration solutions proposed in this paper would have its broad prospects for development, which would open up a new route to the development of medical data mining.

Objective:To study effect of SC-LK on the immune function of immunosuppressive mice and to seek the relationship between drug property of SC-GS and immunoenhancement activity. Methods:The immunosuppressive mice models were established by CTX and administrated with four groups of drugs. The phagocytic ability of macrophage,serum hemolysin level,and proliferative response of T lymphocyte induced by PHA were measured. The activity of in vitro M? and the phagocytizing of CRBC by M? were measured. Results:SC-LK could significantly improve immunological function inhibited by CTX in mice. Conclusion:The improving of immunological function was a common effect in drug effect spectrum(drug property) of SC-LK,but it was not characteristic effect as compared with the other three groups of drugs.

Objective To establish the method of testing immunoglobulin G (IgG) with Fc sialylation, and to investigate the clinical significance of IgG with Fc sialylation in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), especially in those with neuropsychiatric manifestations (NPSLE). Methods Seventy-five SLE including thirty patients with neuropsychiatric manifestations (NPSLE) and forty-five non-NPSLE patients, 30 rheuma-toid arthritis (RA) patients, 32 juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) patients and 41 healthy controls were recruited in this study. Standard method of testing lgG with Fc sialylation was established by a lectin based sandwiched enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). The levels of IgG with Fc sailylation were assayed, and its clinical significance was evaluated. Results There were no difference in the levels of serum IgG with Fc sailylation in RA group (0.82±1.81) mg/ml, JIA group (0.69±1.30) mg/ml, healthy control group (0.64± 1.09) mg/ml, and the levels of IgG with Fc sailylation in SLE group (0.12±0.17) mg/ml (P<0.01), especially in NPSLE group [(0.03±0.03) mg/ml, P<0.01] was significantly lower than that of control groups. The perc-entage of IgG with Fc sialylation in control group (4.64±5.90)% were significantly higher than that in non-NPSLE (1.88±2.16)% (P<0.01) and in NPSLE (0.29±0.47)% (P<0.01). The percentage of IgG with Fc sial-ylation was negatively associated with SLEDAI score (r=-0.43, P<0.01). Conclusion Significantly low level of serum IgG with Fc sialylation was associated with disease activity in SLE patients, especially in NPSLE patients, lgG with Fc sialylation may be a new target for therapeutic strategy.

Objective:Telemedicine financial operation mechanism was researched to promote long-term operation of the telemedicine in Hubei. Methods: Telemedicine operator was built to manage telemedicine services; the construction costs of the telemedicine system were analyzed to develop service prices; telemedicine services income distribution programs and cost clearing methods were analyzed. Results: The financial operaton models, including the price-setting, income distribution and the cost clearing methods were developed. Conclusion:The reasonable financial operation system ensured the involved parties ’ interests of telemedicine and it could promote long-term development of telemedicine.

AIM: To study the antiallerergic effects of norastemizole. METHODS: Antiallergic effects of norastemizole were study using rats and guinea pigs. RESULTS: Norastemizole(10 -9 -10 -8 mol?L -1 ) caused inhibition effect on the hisitamine induced contraction of isolated guinea pig ileum. Objective To explore the expression of NF-?B in C-7-T-5 spinal ganglia and possible mechanism of treating asthma with dexamethsone. Methods The alterations of NF-?B activity and its mRNA expression were investigated by means of immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization histochemistry combined with the micro-image analysis in C-7-T-5 spinal ganglia in the asthmatic and dexamethsone-treated guinea pigs. Results The NF-?B immunoreactivity was found mainly in cytoplasm and weakly in nucleus,its mRNA was expressed weakly in C-7-T-5 spinal ganglia in the control groups.The NF-?B immunoreactivity was more in nucleus and less in cytoplasm,the expression of its mRNA increased significantly in C-7-T-5 spinal ganglia in the asthmatic group compared with the control groups(P0.05).Conclusion The present results indicate that NF-?B in C-7-T-5 spinal ganglia might be involved in the pathogenesis of the bronchial asthma,and inhibiting the expression and activity of NF-?B in C-7-T-5 spinal ganglia might be one of the mechanisms of treating the bronchial asthma with dexamethsone.

BACKGROUND:It is accepted that the best method for spermatogonial stem cells separation is using artificial cryptorchism model combined with surface makers.OBJECTIVE:To explore the feasibility of separation spermatogonial stem cells with ?6-integrin and c-kit as specific surface markers.DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:The randomized control experiment was performed at the Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University from May to December 2006.MATERIALS:Forty adult,white Kunming mice with 6 weeks old were randomly divided into cryptorchidism and control groups,with 20 animals in each group.METHODS:Artificial cryptorchidism model was prepared by made an incision at the median of abdomen,and testis was pulled into abdominal cavity,which was fixed at the each side of lateral abdominal wall.There was no treatment in the control group.The single cell suspension of seminiferous epithelium was obtained by traditional two step enzyme digestion at 2-3 months after operation.FITC-conjugated anti-?6-intergrin antibody and PE-conjugated anti-c-kit antibodies were added.Then the cells with low side scatter light-scattering properties were sorted and positively stained for ?6-intergrin and negative c-kit expression.Meanwhile,the viability of the isolated cells was assessed by trypan blue staining.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:The morphological changes of cryptorchidism,and the sorting results of spermatogonial stem cells.RESULTS:Cell distribution in seminiferous tubule was disorder with reduced numbers.The layer and lumens were disappeared,and cell division phase could be seen in the center of tubules.Compared to the control group,the testicular cells in the cryptorchidism group were increased in the side scatterlow,Forward scatterhi areas,with figure left-upward displacement.The distribution of ?6-integrin+ and c-kit cells were deviated each other,it named that most ?6-integrin+ cell were not spermatogonial stem cells,so do the c-kit-cells.Only 2.8% of testicular cells exhibited side scatterlow,?6-integrin+,and c-kit-,which were spermatogonial stem cells in the cryptorchidism group.And trypan blue staining showed that over 95% of them were viable.CONCLUSION:Using the two surface markers to sort spermatogonial stem cells can advance the purity of the spermatogonial stem cells in cell suspension,but the specificity is insufficient.

Methods Based on mobile phone text message services provided by China Mobile Inc. and China Unicom Inc,hospitals formulated platform service procedures including the service on demand system,booking a whole month and broadcasting; designed a variety of interactive processes of short message for business. Results Such platform can be used to apply reservation,notification for PACS,LIS reports,services for in-patient,information for managers and transaction among employees. Conclusion With such platform,hospitals will build up friendly relationship between doctors and patients,improve office automation system,and upgrade service lever. Along with this event,the future will open out bright prospects for us.
