Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2013;20(12):1826-1827
Objective To discuss and analyze clinical pathological characteristics of senile recurrent ovarian cancer and its influences on prognosis. Methods 140 senile ovarian cancer patients who have been admitted in ourhospital were selected as study subjects.103 cases with recurrent ovarian cancer were selected as observation group (group A),and the rest 37 cases who did not suffer from recurrent ovarian cancer were selected as control group(group B).Pathological characteristics of carcinoma tissues after their first admission in our hospital were compared between the two groups. And pathological characteristics of carcinoma tissues of group A after their second admissionin our hospital were analyzed, comprehensively analyzed prognosis situations and clinical pathological characteristics of patients in these two groups. Results In group A,the number of poorly differentiated carcinoma tissues was obviouslymore than group B,and the number of patients whose neoplasm staging was M stage was more than that in group B,the differences between the two groups were significant (x2 =13.48,15.87,all P < 0.05).The incidence rate of adverse reactions between the two groups also had statistical significance(x2 =13.8,11.6,14.5,13.9,14.9,13.4,all P <0.05).Conclusion The clinical pathological characteristics of senile recurrent ovarian cancer can reflect patients'prognosis situations in some degree, and has certain clinical value in evaluation of patients' disease recurrence and prognosis.
2.Accreditation of Assistive Technology Professional in USA
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2010;16(11):1094-1095
There is a huge gap in the quality of assistive technology (AT) service between China and the USA. In the USA, the certification of Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) has been used to supervise the development of AT service, while China is at the beginning of AT service. The current situation and the effects about the certification of ATP, how to get the ATP, the requirements someone must have were discussed in the paper.

0.05). However, the 5-year local control rate appeared significantly different in three groups (?~2=7.239, P0.05). The 1-,3-,and 5-year disease-free survival rate among three groups were significantly different in the three groups (79.1%, 41.9% and 35.6% for CFR group, 85.7%, 57.1% and 38.1% for FHR group, and 95.4%, 62.8% and 58.1% for LAHR group) (?~2=6.60,P0.05). The incidence of loss of hearing, the radiation-induced temporomandibular joint lesion, and the radiation-induced brain injury was 31.3%, 41.9% and 9.3% in CFR group, and 25.0%, 35.7% and 7.1% in FRH group, and 22.7%, 35.7% and 7.0% in LAHR group, respectively. Conclusion A better 5-year local control rate and disease-free survival rate were achieved in patients in LAHR and FHR groups than those in CFR group. There are no differences in the incidence of late complications and overall survival rate among three groups.

Objective:To explore the clinical characteristics and diagnosis and treatment of occult poisoning caused by long-acting anticoagulant rodenticides.Method:Records of 12 patients from July 2008 to April 2011 diagnosed as anticoagulant rodenticide occult poisoning, who had been misdiagnosed initially at other hospitals were analyzed retrospectively.Elements from the records included clinical symptoms and signs, laboratory findings for prothrombin time (PT) and activated partial prothrombin time (APTT),and initial misdiagnosis and treatment outcome at our hospital. Results:The clinical presentations of patients were insidious and serious, often presented as skin ecchymose, hematuria, menorrhagia and gastrointestine bleeding.Laboratory examinations showed prolonged PT and APTT; bleeding was controlled effectively by administoring vitamin K1 daily. There were statistical difference between PT and APTT before and after the treatment (P<0.01).Conclusion:Coagulation disorders might be caused by the reduced acquisition in vitamin K dependent coagulation factors, which tends to be neglected due to a hidden medical history, delayed signs of poisoning, and various organs involved.A detailed patient history and systematic review may improve the diagnostic accuracy.Once diagnosed is made, vitamin K1 should be given as soon as possible.

Objective To optimize the preparation technology of chrysophanol loaded polybutylcyanoacrylate nanocapsules by interfacial polymerization, sieve the optimal technology conditions of preparation, and study its quality. Methods Based on the single factor experiment, the formulation was optimized by L9(34) orthogonal design with entrapment efficiency as reference index. The factors including agitating speed,pH value of aqueous phase, amount of ?-butylcyanoacrylate (BCA) and of ethyl acetate were screened. At last, its shape, particle size, the encapsulation efficiency, and the drug loading were investigated as its quality inspection. Results When the ammunt of chrysophanol was 5 mg,the optimum preparation conditions were established as follows:the agitating speed was 800 r/min,the pH value of aqueous phase was 2,the amount of ?-BCA was 13 ?L and ethyl acetate was 0.6 mL. Under this optimum condition, the mean entrapment ratio was 82.19%,and the mean drug loading was 21.48%,the mean diameter of the nanocapsule was 246 nm. The particle size was well-distributed showed by electron microscope pictures. Conclusion The prepared chrysophanol loaded polybutylcy-anoacrylate nanocapsules has small size, high encapsulation efficiency, and drug loading. The preparation technique established in this study is stable and feasible. It also can be used for iv injection.

Objective: To observe the clinical effects of Zhu Lian's type Ⅰ excitation needling technique for postpartum urinary retention. Methods: A total of 60 cases with postpartum urinary retention were recruited and divided randomly into an observation group and a control group, 30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with routine acupuncture, and stimulated with sparse and dense wave of electric acupuncture for 15 min after arrival of needling sensation, and then the needles were taken out. The observation group was treated with Zhu Lian's type Ⅰ excitation needling technique, by inserting the needles with the quick inserting method, swift and temporary lifting and thrusting technique for shallow insertion for 5 times, by an in-and-out technique, without retaining the needles. Results: The total effective rate was 96.7% in the observation group and 83.3% in the control group. The difference in the total effective rate between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05). After the treatment, the first urination time was shorter in the observation group than that in the control group, with a statistical significance (P<0.01). After the treatment, the volume of residual urine after the first urination was less in the observation group than that in the control group (P<0.01). Conclusion: Zhu Lian's type Ⅰ excitation needling technique can effectively promote the voluntary urination and bladder emptying in patients with postpartum urinary retention, and it takes effect faster.

OBJECTIVE To detect bacteria number of the mattress in the common ward in order to reduce the mattress transmitted hospital infection. METHODS Secretion was collected for bacteria test from mattresses of the five common wards at the d0,dd1-6,dd7-13,dd14-20,and d21 and more after admission of patients. RESULTS The longer the patients stayed, the heavier the pollution of mattress was,its bacterial amount was much higher than the criterion made by Ministry of Health(10 CFU/cm~2). CONCLUSIONS Long-term hospitalization is the main factor that makes mattress bacterial contaminant in the common ward, and it should be cleaning and sterilizing regularly.
