Objective To explore the values of combined detection of serumhuman epididymis protein E4 , CA125 and CA199 in diagnosis of endometrial cancer. Methods 118 patients with endometrial cancer were chosen as group A, 82 patients with benign uterine disease were assigned to group B. Serum levels of HE4, CA125 and CA199 were detected and the positive rates were compared between the two groups. Results Serum levels of HE4, CA125, and CA199, the positive rate were significantly higher in group A than in group B (P <0.05). HE4 positive rate was highest in group A, and group B had no HE4-positive patients. The sensitivity and accuracy of HE4 + CA125 + CA199 were the highest, which was 94.9% and 92.5%. Levels of HE4, CA125 and CA199 and positive rate showed a rising trend as FIGO stage increased (P < 0.05), and HE4 positive rate was significantly higher than those of CA125 and CA199 (P < 0.05). Conclusions HE4 can be used to identify benign and malignant diseases in the uterus , and has a higher diagnostic value of endometrial cancer as compared with CA125 and CA199. Combined detection of HE4, CA125 and CA199 can improve the positive rate and diagnosis accuracy in endometrial cancer.

Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology 2011;31(5):588-590
Objective To compare the efficacy of laryngeal tube suction Ⅱ (LTS Ⅱ ) and ProSeal laryngeal mask airway (PLMA) for airway management during general anesthesia. Methods One hundred and twenty adult ASA Ⅰ or Ⅱ female patients, aged 30-50, with body mass index < 30 kg/m2, undergoing general anesthesia for elective surgery were randomly divided into 2 groups ( n = 60 each) : PLMA group and LTS Ⅱ group. Each group was further divided into 2 subgroups: PLMA controlled ventilation group (group PC), PLMA spontaneous breathing group (group PS), LTS Ⅱ controlled ventilation group (group LC) and LTS Ⅱ spontaneous breathing group (group LS) . The rate of successful insertion was recorded. PetCO2 , peak airway pressure, lung compliance and incidence of gas leakage during controlled ventilation were recorded before operation, 10 min after the start of operation and at the end of operation. The tidal volume and PetCO2 were recorded in patients breathing spontaneously when the breathing was stable. The bucking and body movement were observed during removal of LTS Ⅱ or PLMA. The side effects in 24 h after surgery were recorded. Results Insertion was successful in all the patients. During either spontaneous breathing or controlled ventilation, the peak airway pressure was significantly higher in the patients with LTS Ⅱ than in the patients with PLMA ( P < 0.05), and there wag no significant difference in the other ventilatory parameters between the two devices. There was no significant difference in the incidences of postoperative complications among the groups ( P > 0.05) . Conclusion The efficacy of PLMA for airway manage ment is better than that of LTSⅡ during general anesthesia.

Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology 2009;29(7):598-601
Objective To investigate the effects of lipnsomal prostnglandin E1 (Lipo-PGE1) on the renal function in patients undergoing cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) .Methods Twenty ASA Ⅱ or Ⅲ patients of both sexes aged 34-56 yr weighing 48-81 kg scheduled for elective cardiac valve replacement with CPB were randomly divided into 2 groups (n = 10 each): normal saline group (group NS) and Lipo-PGE1 group. In group Lipo-PGE1, Lipo-PGE1 was infused at 3 ng·kg-1·min-1 from the initiation of CPB to the end of CPB, and then added into the priming solution of the extracorporeal circulation machine with its concentration set at 5 ng/ml. In group NS, the equal volume of normal saline was administered instead of Lipo-PGE1 . The concentrations of thromboxane B2 ( TXB2 ), 6-keto-prostnglandin F1α ( 6-Keto-PGF1α ), and free hemoglobin ( F-Hb ) in plasma, and α1-microgipbulin (α1-MG), β2-micmglobulin (β2-MG) and Cystatin C (Cys C) in serum were measured after heparinization and before CPB (T1), at 30 min of CPB (T2) and at 0, 1 and 24 h after termination of CPB (T3-5). Results Compared to T1, the concentrations of TXB2, 6-Keto-PGF1α, α1-MG and β2-MG and TXB2/6-Keto-PGF1α ratio at T2-4, and the concentrations of F-Hb and Cystatin C at T2-5 were significantly increased in both groups ( P < 0.05). The concentration of 6-Keto-PGF1α at T2-4 was significantly higher, and concentrations of TXB2, α1-MG and β2-MG and TXB2/6-Keto-PGF1α ratio at T2-4 and concentrations of F-Hb and Cys C at T2-5 were significantly lower in group Lipo-PGE1 than in group NS ( P < 0.05). Conclusion Lipo-PGE1 can obviously improve the renal function in patients undergoing CPB.
