1.Comparison of long-term results in three types of fraction radiotherapy for nasopharyngeal carcinoma

The 1-,3-,and 5-year disease-free survival rate among three groups were significantly different in the three groups (79.1%, 41.9% and 35.6% for CFR group, 85.7%, 57.1% and 38.1% for FHR group, and 95.4%, 62.8% and 58.1% for LAHR group) (?~2=6.60,P0.05). The incidence of loss of hearing, the radiation-induced temporomandibular joint lesion, and the radiation-induced brain injury was 31.3%, 41.9% and 9.3% in CFR group, and 25.0%, 35.7% and 7.1% in FRH group, and 22.7%, 35.7% and 7.0% in LAHR group, respectively. Conclusion A better 5-year local control rate and disease-free survival rate were achieved in patients in LAHR and FHR groups than those in CFR group. There are no differences in the incidence of late complications and overall survival rate among three groups.
2.Modulation of low molecular weight heparin and heparin-binding epidermal growth factor on biological functions of human first trimester trophoblast

Objective To evaluate the effects of low molecular weight heparin(LMWH)and heparin-binding epidermal growth factor(HB-EGF)on the biological function of human trophoblast in first trimester.Methods From Feb.2011 to Nov.2011,the trophoblast isolated from human first trimester chorionic villi was cultured in vitro.Based on variation of LMWH concentration,the trophoblast was classified into 0.025 U/ml group,0.25 U/ml group,2.5 U/ml group,25 U/ml group and 250 U/ml group.In the mean time,based on treatment of heparin,the trophoblast was classified into LMWH group (0.25 U/ml),HB-EGF group(10 μg/L),combination group(LMWH at 0.25 U/ml + HB-EGF at 10 μg/L)and add with DMEM as control group.Cell prolferation was assessed by the methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium(MTY)test,which was showed with the mean absorbance as A value.Cell invasion was measured by transwell,which counted the number of cells migrated to the superficies inferia of filter membrane.Cell differentiation was assessed by the concentration of hCG secretion.Results Compared with control group,the trophoblast proliferation and invasion treated by LMWH at 0.025 U/ml did not show significant difference (P > 0.05).When treated by LWMH at 0.25 U/ml and 2.5 U/ml,trophoblast proliferation and invasion was increased significantly(P < 0.05).When LMWH at 25 U/ml and 250 U/ml,it could inhibit trophoblast proliferation and invasion(P < 0.05).When compared with A value of 0.44 ± 0.04 in control group,the increased A value were 0.51 ± 0.05 in LMWH group,0.56 ± 0.04 in HB-EGF group and 0.69 ± 0.06 in combination group(P < 0.05).In the transwell test,the cell number were 511 ± 78 in LMWH group,669 ± 67 in HB-EGF group and 872±64 in combination group,which were significantly higher than 405 ± 67 in control group(P < 0.05),respectively.And the hCG concentration were(7143 ± 649)U/L in LMWH group,(11 762 ± 1059)U/L in HB-EGF group and(11 015 ± 1084)U/L in combination group,which showed statistical difference with(8182 ± 666)U/L in control group(P < 0.05).Conclusion LMWH could modulate trophoblast proliferation,invasion,and differentiation.HB-EGF is one of important factors involved in effects of LMWH on trophoblast function.
3.Clinical application of regionai cerebral blood flow SPECT imaging in systemic lupus erythematosus patients complicated with neuropsychiatric disorders

Objecfive To observe the changes of regional cerebral blood flow (rCBF) in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) patients with neuropsychiatrie disorders and evaluate rCBF SPECT imaging in the detection of neuropsychiatric problems in SLE patients.Methods Twenty neuropsychiatrie SLE patients were enrolled in the study and were performed SPECT rCBF imaging anti CT/MRI scans,respectively.Twenty SLE patients without neuropsychiatrie manifestatiuns (SLE) and 20 healthy volunteers also underwent SPECT rCBF imaging as controls.Semiquantitative analysis was conducted as designed by selecting 3 consecutive crosssections and delineating ROI,which generated HQ and the results were compared between with SLE and controls.Results SPECT rCBF findings were almormal in 20 NPSLE.in which 19 of the 20 with abnormal SPECT findings showed focal uptake defects the other patient showed increased foeal uptake.Four N PSLE patients had ahnormal CT/MRI scans findings.Compared with the methods of rCBF and CT/MRI imaging,the difference was significant (P<0.01).Nineteen SLE patients without neuropsychiatrie manifestations had normal SPECT findings.the other 1 patient showed focal uptake defect.SPECT findings were all normal in 20 healthy volunteers.Temporal cortex was the most commonly involved region,followed by frontal cortex.Specific values generated from semiquantitative analysis (HQ) of temporal and frontal regions in neruopsychiatrie SLE patients were lower than that in SLE patients and healthy volunteers (P<0.01 and P<0.05).Conclusion SPECT rCBF imaging has the potential to be a sensitive tool to detect the neuropsyehiatric disordersin SLE patients,and has important value in helping for early diagnosis and therapy.Hypoperfusion on ECD-SPECT under the territory of the middle cerebral artery (MCA) is the most common observation,and which temporal and frontal regions are the most frequently involved regions in neruopsychiatrie SLE patients.
4.Effects of GSP on learning and memory in mice

Aim To study effects of grape seed proanthocyanidin (GSP) on learning and memory in mice. Methods After po GSP 10,20,40 mg?kg -1 respectively and contemporaneously sc D-galactose 1.25 g?kg -1 for 6 weeks, step down test and Y-type electric maze were used to examine the efficacy of GSE on learning and memory of mice first. Then lipoperoxide(LPO) level in blood and brain of these mice was measured. After po GSP 10,20,40 mg?kg -1 respectively for 2 weeks, the ability of learning and memory was measured by Morris Water Maze task. Results GSP significantly prolonged step-down latency in the mice and decreased number of errors in 5 minutes in step down test; and significantly decreased number of errors of these mice in Y-type electric maze test. LPO level in blood and brain of these mice was lower than that of model group. GSP also increased crossing platform times(CPT) and crossing platform percentages(CPP) in normal mice rested for 30 days in morris water maze test. Conclusion GSP can elevate the ability of learning and memory in mice treated with D-galactose, also improve memory retrieval at the spatial probe trials in normal mice. Mechanisms of these actions may probably be attributable antioxidative activity of GSP.
5.Platysma myocutaneous flap with posterior based pedicle for defects in the region of parotid gland and masseter muscle

OBJECTIVE To assess the method and reliability of the platysma myocutaneous flap with posterior based pedicle for defects in the region of parotid gland and masseter muscle.METHODS The clinical data of 6 patients who were reconstructed with platysma myocutaneous flap with posterior based pedicle for defects in the region of parotid gland and masseter muscle from 2006 to2007 were studied. The blood supply and design of the flap,the keys in operation and the outcome after operation were also discussed.RESULTS All the patients were followed up from 2 months to one year.The color of the platysma myocutaneous flap was matched with the facial skin.All the operation results were satisfied. CONCLUSION Platysma myocutaneous flap has abundant blood supply.The operation is easy and reliable.It is suitable for reconstruction of the defects in parotid gland and masseter muscle region.
6.Construction and evaluation of human Dp71 shRNA vector

Objective: To construct effective short hairpin RNA (shRNA) recombinant plasmids targeting humanDystrophin Dp71 gene, and evaluate their interference effciency. Methods: hTree pairs of siRNA sequences targeting human Dp71 gene and one pair of control siRNA sequence were designed, synthesized, and then inserted into the pRNAT-U6.1/Neo vector. hTe shRNA recombinant vectors were evaluated by enzyme digestion and sequencing. Dp71-shRNA and control shRNA plasmids were transfected into human normal gastric epithelial cells (GES-1) and humanbronchial epithelium (HBE). Western blot was used to evaluate its interfering effciency. Results: Restriction enzyme digestion and sequencing showed that the Dp71-shRNA vectors were successfully constructed. Western blot displayed that Dp71 protein expression was reduced to a signiifcant degree atfer transfection with the 3 Dp71-shRNA plasmids, and Dp71-shRNA2 plasmid inhibit the Dp71 expression most effciently. Conclusion: Dp71-shRNA vectors have been successfully constructed. The 3 Dp71-shRNA plasmids can inhibit Dp71 expression in GES-1 and HBEC, with Dp71-shRNA2 plasmid displaying the highest inhibition effciency.

Objective To explore the effection of four types of surgery for the treatment of adenoid hypertrophy . Methods 148 cases of with adenoid hypertrophy treated in our hospital between April 2012 and April 2015 were chose;they were randomly divided into 4 groups ,each group of 37 people .A group of patients with adenoid hypertrophy were taken traditional ade‐noidectomy curettage;Group B with nasal endoscopic adenoidectomy and cutting aspiration biopsy ;Group C by adenoidectomy shave their + residual endoscopic adenoidectomy bit cut method combined treatment ;Group D with nasal endoscopic adenoidectomy plas‐ma cutting treatment .The curative effect ,operation time ,blood loss were observed ;patients were followed‐up for half a year ,ade‐noidectomy residual rate and complications of each group were compared .Results The total effective rate of B ,C ,D three groups were significantly higher in group A patients (χ2 =7 .731 ,5 .045 ,7 .731 ,P<0 .05) ,the efficient between three groups was not sta‐tistically different (P>0 .05) .B ,C ,D three groups of operation time is significantly higher than A group of patients (t=5 .819 , 5 .829 ,2 .759 ,P<0 .05);B and C group had long operation time than group D (t=3 .555 ,3 .637 ,P<0 .05);But operation time of B and C had no significant difference between the two groups (t=0 .149 ,P>0 .149) .Bleeding of B and C group were significantly higher than group A (t=9 .305 ,4 .126 ,P<0 .05);Group D was significantly lower than A ,B ,C three group (t=8 .054 ,16 .559 , 12 .837 ,P<0 .05);Group C and group B was significantly higher than the bleeding (t=5 .739 ,P<0 .05) .Retention rate of group A is significantly higher than the other three groups (χ2 =31 .308 ,31 .308 ,24 .667 ,P<0 .05) ,the residual rate of B ,C ,B group were lower ,there was no statistically significant difference(P> 0 .05) .Complication rates between the four groups was no statistical difference(P>0 .05) .Conclusion we should choose the right means of surgical treatment according to patients condition and eco‐nomic situation to .

9.Clinical value of C-reactive protein combined with coagulation test in the diagnosis of neonatal late-onset sepsis

Objective To investigate the clinical value of C-reactive protein (CRP) combined with prothrombin time (PT) and partially activated thromboplastin time (APTY) in the diagnosis of neonatal late-onset sepsis.Methods From January 2013 to January 2018,100 neonates with sepsis admitted to our department of neonatology in Lishui Maternal and Child Health-Care Center were collected.According to the results of blood culture,neonates with positive blood culture were classified as sepsis group A (53 cases),and neonates with negative blood culture were classified as sepsis group B (47 cases).Another 50 normal newborns born at the same period were included in the control group.The CRP,PT and APTT values of the three groups were detected and compared.The receiver-operating characteristic curves (ROC) were plotted to obtain the area under ROC curve (AUC) and the sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value and negative predictive value.Another ROC curve was plotted to obtain the area under ROC curve (AUC) and the sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value,and negative predictive value for a new variable,CPR + PT + APTT,which was established using a binomial logistic regression method.Results The results of CPR,PT and APTT in the control group,sepsis group A and sepsis group B all increased in turn (F=10.616,6.155,5.243,P =0.000,0.000,0.000).CPR + PT + APTT had the largest AUC (0.94),the highest sensitivity (93.42%),the highest specificity (91.66%),the highest positive predictive value (92.60%),and the highest negative predictive value (78.55%) in the four indicators.Conclusion When blood culture fails to diagnose late-onset neonatal sepsis,combined detection of CPR + PT + APTT can provide some clues for its early diagnosis,which is worthy of clinical attention.
10.ERYTHROCYTE IMMUNE ADHERENCE AND REGULATIVE FUNCTION OF PATIENTS AND RESIDENTS IN KESHAN DISEASE AREA AND ITS RELATION TO BLOOD SELENIUM LEVELS

Objective In order to investigate the relationship between erythrocyte immune function and seleni- um(Se) level. Method Red blood cell immune adherence(RCIA) function,serum RCIA regulatory factor, blood Se content and activities of glutathione peroxidase(GPX) of residents in Keshan disease(KD) endemic and non-endemic areas were comparatively studied. Forty-eight residents in KD endemic area aged 13~ 16 years were divided into 2 groups. The residents in the experimental group were orally given 200μg Se daily as Se yeast for 12 weeks, and their erythrocyte Se content and activity of glutathione peroxidase (GPX),RCIA function,serum RCIA regulatory function and circulating immune complexes(CIC) content were determined. ResultsThe results showed that the rosette for- mation rates of erythrocyte and blood Se levels of the residents in KD area were significantly lower and the rosette formation inhibitory rate of serum RCIA of the residents in KD area was significantly higher than those in the non-endemic area. Erythrocyte Se contents, GPX activities and rosette formation rates of erythrocyte were sig- nificantly increased and the rosette formation inhibitory rates of serum RICA were significantly decreased after sup- plementing Se,but the difference in the contents of serum CIC was not significant. ConclusionThe increase of ery- throcyte immune function by Se-supplement might be one of the effective mechanisms in the prevention of KD by Se- supplement.
