Objective To explore the features and rehabilitation of dystonia after cerebral venous sinus thrombosis. Methods A case was reviewed combined with literatures. Results and Conclusion The patient presented deformation dystonia after thrombolysis, and the function improved after botulinum toxin injection and rehablitation.

Objective: To study the relationship between mental health and achievement motivation of teachers.Methods: 322 high school teachers completed SCL-90 and Achievement Motivation Scale.Results: The percent of high-score teachers with at least one SCL-90 subscale scored more than 3 is more than 5%.There is obvious correlation between the score of SCL-90 and the AMS's.Conclusion: The high level of achievement-seeking or the high level of failure-avoiding is harmful to the mental health of teachers.

Objective To explore the relationship between first-episode schizophrenia and metabolic syndrome (MS). Methods 231 first-episode schizophrenia patients (schizophrenia group) and 63 healthy controls (healthy group) were selected to detect the height, weight, waistline, fasting plasma glucose (FPG), blood lipid and blood pressure. International Diabetes Federation (IDF) MS Diagnostic Criterion (2005) was used to diagnose MS. Results The FPG and Total Cholesterol (TC) of the schizophrenia group were significantly higher than the control group (P<0.001). The MS detection rate in the schizophrenia group was higher than in the control group (P=0.021). Conclusion First-episode schizophrenia patients could have glucose-lipid metabolism disorder during the early stage.

Objective:To analyse the property of voltage-dependent potassium 〔K(v)〕 channel in healthy people′s peripheral lymphocyte so as to contribute the control for property alteration under some pathological condition,and to try to find the new subset of this channel.Methods:Patch-clamp whole cell recording technique was used.Results:In the recorded 39 cells,activated voltage of the channels was -40.3±2.5 Mv.No inactivation phenomenon appeared under repeated stimulation.The closing time of the channels was 116.3+8.2 ms under the repolarization,and the current could be inhibited by 10 mmol/L TEA.Conclusion:There might be only one type of K(v) channel in human peripheral blood lymphocytes,and its properties quite resumble the type of n K(v) channel in mice.

Nowadays,the disconnection between pre-clinical medicine and clinical medicine exists in the medical postgraduate education.Application of the concept of translational medicine to the postgraduate education will play an important role in the training of medical personnel.This article gives a discussion on the means of training postgraduates by building a platform for translational medicine,reforming the curriculum,improving the research evaluation system and building cooperation among universities,hospitals and enterprises.

Objective To probe into the current services and outcomes of township hospitals following their transformation, and their future positioning of functionality. Methods Pinpointing townships A, B and C as samples from a district in Beijing, in which field surveys were made in the township hospitals to learn their services, service provision methods and outcomes. Results Among the current services provided by these three hospitals, those of public health and primary healthcare nature in hospital A account for 50% each; those in hospital B account for 70% and 30% respectively; those in hospital C account for 60% and 40% respectively. Recommendable services provided in these hospitals include universal coverage of medical files, management of infectious diseases, public health emergency management, and immunization. Conclusion Township hospitals as the center of the 3-tier rural health service network, deserve a repositioning of their functionality to fit the health needs of residents at large.

Objective To evaluate the effects of Xuefurong capsules,the traditional Chinese medicine for invigorating the kidney,on sexual function and expression of neuronal nitric oxide synthase(nNOS) in paraventricular nucleus(PVN) in adult castrated SD rats.Methods The male castrated rat model was made and three days after operation the liquid of Xuefurong capsules(5 mg/kg) was given by intragastric administration once a day for 28 days.The sexual function was observed and the nNOS expression in PVN was detected by using ABC immunohistochemical method.The number,area and gray degree of nNOS were counted and analyzed with semi-quantitative method.Results ①Compared with that in the castrated group,the serum testosterone level increased obviously in Xuefurong group(P0.05).Conclusion Xuefurong capsules can increase the level of testosterone,enhance the sexual function of castrated rats and nNOS expression in PVN.

Objective To study the changes and clinical significance of serum interleukin-2 (IL-2) ,interleukin-6 (IL-6) ,interleu-kin-10 (IL-10) ,cholinesterase (ChE) and hyaluronic acid (HA) in the patients with chronic hepatitis B (CHB) and liver cirrhosis (LC) .Methods The serum concentrations of IL-2 ,IL-6 ,IL-10 ,ChE and HA were detected in 92 cases of CHB(CHB group) ,63 cases of LC (group LC) and 46 cases of healthy populations (control group) .Results The serum concentrations of IL-2 ,IL-6 and HA in the CHB group and the LC group were higher than those in the control group ,while the serum concentrations of IL-10 and ChE were lower than those in the control group ,the differences had statistical significance (P<0 .05) .The serum concentrations of IL-2 ,IL-6 and HA in the patients with HBV DNA copy number of 6 .0-6 .9 log10 copy/mL were higher than those with the copy number of 3 .0-4 .9 log10 copy/mL and 5 .0 -5 .9 log10 copy/mL ,while the serum concentrations of IL-10 and ChE were lower than those with HBV DNA copy number of 3 .0-4 .9 log10 copy/mL and 5 .0-5 .9 log10 copy/mL ,the differences had statistical significance(P<0 .05) .The serum concentrations of IL-2 ,IL-6 and HA in the LC patients with the Child-Pugh grade C were higher than those with the Child-Pugh grade A and B ,while serum concentrations of IL-10 and ChE were lower than those with the Child-Pugh grade A and B ,the differences were statistically significant (P<0 .05) .Conclusion The simultaneous detection of serum IL-2 ,IL-6 ,IL-10 ,ChE and HA concentration changes can provide certain clinical reference value for the evaluation of severity and prognosis in the patients with CHB and LC .

AIM To establish an HPLC method for the simultaneous content determination of narirutin,naringin,hesperidin,neohesperidin,honokiol and magnolol in Liuhe Dingzhong Pills (Aurantii Fructus,Citri reticulatae Pericarpium,Magnoliae officinalis Cortex,etc.).METHODS The analysis of 75％ methanol extract of this drug was performed on a 30 ℃ thermostatic Dikma Spursil C18 column (4.6 mm ×250 mm,5 μm),with the mobile phase comprising of acetonitrile-water flowing at 1.0 mL/min in a gradient elution manner,and the detection wavelengths were set at 283 nm and 294 nm.RESULTS Six constituents showed good liner relationships within their own ranges (r≥0.999 3),whose average recoveries were 92.6％-103.7％ with the RSDs of 0.89％-2.87％.The contents of naringin and neohesperidin in three batches of samples showed obvious differences.CONCLUSION We should pay attention to the unstable quality of Liuhe Dingzhong Pills due to Aurantii Fructus.

A 22-year-old woman with bilateral perisylvian schizencephaly was reported. She presented only mild right hemiplegia. The motor function improved after constraint-induced movement therapy.
