Lymphocyte subsets in peripheral blood and function of CD4+CD25+ regulatory T cells(Tregs) were assayed in patients during different periods of Graves' disease ( GD ).Breakdown of Tregs' function lead to the wild proliferation of CD4+T lymphocyte, and may play an important role in the pathogenesis of GD.It is difficult to fully restore the Tregs' function to normal after successful medication in Graves' disease, this phenomenon may lead to easy relapse of GD.

BACKGROUND:At present, measurement osteotomy technique and gap balance technique are the two main surgical methods in total knee arthroplasty. Both methods have their advantages and disadvantages.By adjusting the osteotomy angle, the gap balance technique can reduce the release of soft tissue and obtain a more balanced flexion and extension space. The clinical efficacy of gap balance technique is superior, but this surgical method lacks tools and is easily influenced by the surgeon's surgical experience and subjective judgment, with more errors.Measurement osteotomy technique has a short learning curve, but it relies on anatomic markers and is prone to many complications due to inaccurate positioning. In recent years, many instrument companies have successively developed and launched tools that can improve the quality of surgery. However, there are still few reports about the tool. OBJECTIVE:To compare the clinical efficacy of gap balance technique and measurement osteotomy technique under Offset Repo-Tensor in total knee arthroplasty, and explore the value of Offset Repo-Tensor in total knee arthroplasty. METHODS:The medical records of 85 patients with total knee arthroplasty were collected and divided into two groups according to the operation method.Group A consisted of 44 patients who underwent total knee arthroplasty using a gap balance technique combined with Offset Repo-Tensor.Group B consisted of 41 patients who underwent total knee arthroplasty using measurement osteotomy technique.Surgical time,American Knee Society Score, knee range of motion, changes in lower limb alignment, and postoperative complications were compared between the two groups to evaluate the clinical efficacy of gap balance technique combined with Offset Repo-Tensors in total knee arthroplasty. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1)All 85 patients were followed up.(2)Postoperative knee range of motion in both groups was higher than that before surgery(P<0.05),and the improvement in group A was more significant than that in group B(P<0.05).(3)American Knee Society Score in both groups after surgery was higher than that before surgery(P<0.05),and the American Knee Society Score in group A was higher than that in group B at 2 weeks,1,3 months, and the last follow-up(P<0.05).(4)The operation time of group A was slightly shorter than that of group B,but the difference was not significant(P>0.05).(5)The lower limb alignment in both groups was improved after operation, but there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).(6)The complication rate of group A(2%)was lower than that of group B(7%),but there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).(7)It is indicated that compared with the measurement osteotomy technique, the combination of Offset Repo-Tensor and gap balance technique can elevate the clinical effect and improve the function and motion range of the knee joint.

Objective To summarize the interventional management for early hepatic arterial thrombosis(HAT)after liver transplantation. Methods 32 patients suspected of HAT or HAS after liver transplantation in 502 cases from April 2001 to September 2006 were done hepatic arterial angiography.Among them,20 patients were confirmed as HAT immediately through hepatic arterial angiography, and were further treated by transarterial thrombolysis, pereutaneous transluminal angioplasty(PTA)and stent-graft placement. Results HAT was identified in 20 patients(3.98%),occurring in the median 4.5 days(2~19 days)after liver transplantation. The sites of all the thrombosis were found at the anastomotic point of the hepatic artery.5 cases were treated by PTA and 3 cases by stent placement during the transarterial thrombolysis.Coil and stent-graft were used in 2 cases with hepatic arterial anastomostic hemorrhage.Hepatic arterial recanalization was obtained in 20 cases. The period of thrombolysis was 2.5 clays(2-11 days). Conclusions Continuous infusion of urokinase through hepatic artery with catheter,PTA and stent placement are effective modalities for hepatic arterial thrombosis after liver transplantation.(J Intervent Radiol,2007,16:799-802)

To investigate the effect of adipose-derived stem cells (ADSCs) on radiation-induced skin injury in SD rats.
Methods: Radioactive particles 192Ir were used to irradiate the left medial thigh skin of SD rats, and the irradiation dose was at 90 Gy. Then, the rats were randomly allocated into a control group and a treatment group (each n=9). After the irradiation, the control group was injected with 60 μL PBS and the treatment group was injected with 60 μL ADSCs in irradiated skin. The progress of skin damage and healing was observed and photographed every day. Twenty-eighth days after the irradiation, the irradiated skin tissue was taken from the left thigh, and then fixed with formaldehyde fixative solution. At the same time, the skin tissue of the corresponding part of the normal group (n=9) that was not irradiated was also taken. After sampling, embedding and slicing, immunohistochemical staining was used to compare the levels of α-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA), and HE staining was used to compare pathological features of the skin.
Results: Radioactive particle 192Ir caused the development of III or IV radioactive skin damage. The score of the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group. The wounds of the treatment group were basically healed at 28 days, while the ulcer of the control group was unhealed. So, the healing time was shorter in the treatment group. The expression of α-SMA in the skin of the two groups was increased after the radiotherapy. By analyzing the pathological microstructure image, we found that the thickness of epidermis in the control group was greater than that in the treatment group, while the vascular density in the treatment group was greater than that in the control group (all P<0.05).
Conclusion: Radioactive particles 192Ir can cause skin damage, while the adipose-derived stem cells might alleviate radiation-induced skin injury and promote ulcer healing by promoting angiogenesis.

The preliminary screening of oral cancer mostly depends on the experience of clinicians, The surgical margin of tumor is mostly based on physical examination and preoperative imaging examination. It lacks real-time and objective intraoperative evaluation methods. Indocyanine green (ICG), as a safe and pollution-free organic fluorescent pigments, combined with near-infrared fluorescence imaging can be applied in the screening of early oral cancer, the determination of tumor resection margins, sentinel lymph node biopsy, cervical lymph node dissection, targeted chemotherapy, and other aspects. Near-infrared fluorescence imaging may become a key link in the early diagnosis and accurate treatment for oral cancer in the future.
