ObjectiveTo survey the incidence of depression in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and explore the related factors.MethodsOne hundred and fifty-nine patients with RA were investigated. All of them were assessed by depression scale and Hamilton Depression Rating Scale.A mono-variate and multivariate Logistic regression analysis were carried out to determine the factors that best related to the occurrence of depression in RA.ResultsThe overall incidence rate was 39.6%.The regression analysis showed that factors related to the occurrence of depression in RA were HAQ-DI (OR=3.276,95%CI 1.315-7.814,P=0.003),the number of tender joints (OR=2.252,95%CI 1.117-3.362,P=0.029),low-income families (OR=1.629,95%CI 1.215-2.437,P=0.031 ) and serum CRP level (OR=1.528,95%CI 1.112-2.294,P=0.040).ConclusionDepression is common in patients with RA.Patients who havehigh HAQ-DI,CRP and from low-income families with more tender joints tend to develop depression.

Objective To compare the various partial Fourier reconstruction algorithms in MRI image processing and their advantages and disadvantages for improving algorithm .Methods Based on the conjugate symmetry in k‐space data in the partial Fourier reconstruction algorithm theory ,the 1 .5T medical magnetic resonance equipment was utilized ,the k‐space data were collect‐ed ,in reconstruction ,only 55% -80% of full data were utilized to simulate the partial collection pattern and reconstruct the images by using the several algorithms of zero filling ,conjugate synthesis ,Homodyne detection and POCS .Results The results presented that the ringing artifact was most obvious in the conjugate filling pattern and the POCS algorithm had the best effect for eliminating the ringing artifact .Conclusion The POCS algorithm repeatedly uses the weighted iteration with low frequency phase positions , which eliminates artifact ,meanwhile causes the lose of high frequency image details ,moreover the time consuming is longer ;the Ho‐modyne algorithm can keep a good balance between maintaining the image details and diminishing ringing .If the Sinc function serves as a weighting function for conducting phase unwrapping ,the image quality may be further improved .

Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy of acupuncture plus acupoint application in treating irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhea (IBS-D).Method Sixty patients were randomized into two groups, 30 cases in each group. The acupuncture group was intervened by acupuncture at Neiguan (PC6), Zhongwan (CV12), and Zusanli (ST36), etc, plus application withBai Jie Zi(Semen Brassicae) powder at Qihai (CV6), Guanyuan (CV4), and Tianshu (ST25), etc; the medication group was prescribed with oral administration of Trimebutine maleate capsules (0.2 g each dose, 3 times a day). Four-week treatment was taken as a course. The symptoms score and quality of life (QOL) scale were evaluated prior to and after the treatment.Result The clinical symptoms were significantly improved in the acupuncture group, and the total effective rate was89.3%, significantly higher than 63.0% in the medication group (P<0.05). After 4-week treatment, the clinical symptoms scores of the two groups were analyzed by rank-sum test (Z=-19.627,P=0.000<0.05), revealing a significant difference between the two groups and indicating that the improvements of clinical symptoms in the acupuncture group were more significant than those in the medication group. After 4-week treatment, the general QOL scores of the two groups were examined by rank-sum test (Z=-10.039, P=0.000<0.05), revealing a significant difference between the two groups and indicating that the improvement of QOL in the acupuncture group was superior to that in the medication group. Conclusion Acupuncture plus acupoint application can obviously mitigateabdominal pain and discomfort.

AIM: To investigate the influence and mechanism of recombinant macrophage migration inhibitory factor(rMIF) on fibroblasts.METHODS: MRC-5 fibroblasts were divided into two groups: the treated group was treated with rMIF(25-100 ?g/L,12 h,24 h or 48 h) and the control was non-rMIF treatment. The activity of proliferation in both groups was investigated and compared by CCK-8 means.Synthesis of collagen in the culture supernatants was detected by the hydroxyproline. The expression of collagen type I mRNA was examined using RT-PCR analysis. The level of collagen type I protein induced by rMIF was quantified by Western blotting.RESULTS: The production of proliferation ratio of fibroblasts treated with 50 ?g/L and 100 ?g/L rMIF at 24 h or 48 h were increased obviously(P

Objective To evaluate the value of fecal high mobility group box-1 (HMGB 1 ) in early diagnosis and prediction of the severity of neonatal necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC). Methods From July 2013 to June 2015 , the neonates who had distention, vomit, or gross blood in stool and were suspected of NEC were recruited as NEC group while hospitalized children without abdominal distension, vomiting, bloody diarrhea, or other gastrointestinal symptoms were recruited as the control group. Stool samples were collected on day 1 , 3 , 5 and 7 after admission. The level of HMGB 1 was measured by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Results In the end, there were 46 cases in NEC group and 15 cases in control group. In NEC group, 29 cases were conifrmed of stageⅠof NEC by abdominal radiograph within 24 h after hospitalized, all of them were deteriorated to stageⅡphase in 4 days, and 10 cases were deteriorated to stageⅢ. Seventeen cases were conifrmed of stageⅡby abdominal radiograph within 24 h after hospitalized, 7 cases were deteriorated to stageⅢ. In 17 stageⅢcases, 11 cases received surgical treatment and 6 cases gave up. Eight cases survived and 3 died after surgery. The levels of HMGB 1 in NEC group on day 1 , 3 , 5 and 7 after hospitalized were higher than those in control group (P0 . 05 ). With the exacerbation of NEC from stage I toⅢ, the levels of HMGB 1 increased gradually (P0 . 05 ). Conclusions With the exacerbation of NEC, the level of HMGB 1 is gradually increased, which indicates that it has certain clinical value in early diagnosis and prediction of severity of NEC.

Objective Via targeted inhibition of oncogene Bmi-1 expression by RNAi interfering technology in vitro, to observe its effect on the proliferation and cell cycle of gallbladder cancer cells. Methods Four miRNABmi-1 recombinant plasmids were constructed according to different Bmi-1 sites. RT-PCR and Western blot were used to mRNA and protein expression of Bmi-1 in gallbladder cancer cells were measured by RT-PCR and Western blot. mRNA and protein expression of Bmi-1 in gallbladder cancer cells. The most effective interfering plasmids in the miRNABmi-1 groups were transfected into GBC-SD cells. Cell proliferation and cell cycle were analyzed 48 h after transfection by BrdU and flow cytometry. Results Bmi-1mRNA expression in miRNAbmi1-1,-3 and-4 was significantly lower than the control group (P<0.05);and Bmi-1 protein expression in miRNAbmi1-2,-3 and-4 was significantly lower than the control group (P<0.05). The recombinant plasmid in miRNAbmi1-4, with the strongest inhibitive effect of Bmi-1mRNA and protein expression, was transfected into GBC-SD cells, then the cell proliferation rate (46.63 ± 5.31) was significantly lower in mRNABmi1-4 group than the control groups (P<0.05);G0/G1 phase cells increased (72.20 ± 1.71) and G2/M and S phase cells decreased (18.30 ± 7.21, 9.50 ± 6.01) in miRNABmi1-4 group. Both were significantly different from the control groups (P<0.05). Conclusions Targeting and silencing Bmi-1 expression can effectively inhibit the proliferation of GBC-SD cells and restrain the cell cycle atin G0/G1 phase. Bmi-1 gene may be a novel target for geneic therapy of gallbladder carcinoma.
