1.The research advances of CD38 molecule and osteoclasts activity adjustment
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(06):-
Human CD38, a type II glycoprotein, is widely expressed in kinds of tissues and cells. It has been shown to have a wide range of effects. The multifunctional cyclase function of CD38 effects on the regulation of osteoclasts activation, which maybe important in the therapy of osteoporosis.
2.The results analysis of intervention on fall among the elderly in Niujie area of Beijing
Chinese Journal of Geriatrics 2009;28(9):777-779
Objective To explore the current status and influencing factors of fall among the elderly in Niujie area of Beijing so as to provide evidences for prevention. Methods Based on the basic survey of fall in 1703 elderly people, the people were divided into intervention group and control group according to different habitation areas using cluster sampling method. The elderly people in intervention group of 874 were accepted intervention management for one year, including cognitive behavioral intervention, fall-inducing diseases intervention and intervention of elderly static and dynamic behaviors that affected the balance function, so as to help the elderly to master the relevantfactors of fall and preventive measures. Results The annual occurrence rate of fall was 11.7% (200/1703) and the fall injury incidence was 9.0% (152/1703). The prevalence of fall was increased with aging, and it was high in people with balance dysfunction. After one year intervention, the incidence of fall was decreased to 5.2%, while it was 7.6% in control group. Conclusions Cognitive behavior intervention can effectively prevent fall in the elderly, which has an important significance for improving the life quality of the elderly.

Objective To determine the intestinal absorption characters of zingerone in rats. Methods The concentration of zingerone in the intestine perfusate was determined by HPLC.The absorption kinetics were obtained by the in-situ perfusion method in rats. Results The absorption rate constants(Ka) of zingerone were 0.0137,0.0135 and 0.0139 min-1 at the concentration of 25.0,50.0 and 100.0 ?g?mL-1,respectively;Ka of zingerone in the duodenum, jejunum, ileum and colon were 0.0070,0.0031,0.0032 and 0.0026 min-1,respectively.Conclusion Concentration of zingerone has no significant effect on its absorption kinetics. The best absorption segment of the intestine was duodenum, ileum, jejunum and colon by turns. The intestinal absorption of zingerone has the first-order kinetic characters with passive diffusion mechanism.

[Objeetive] To develop the recombinant human bone morphogenetic protein-2(rhBMP-2)loaded amorphous calcium phosphate(ACP)delayed release nano-sized material, investigate its cytotoxicity of cell, and provide a reference for the experiment of composite material in vivo.[Method]The rhBMP-2/ACP delayed release nano-sized material were prepared by chemical wet method and cultured on rabbit bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells(BMSCs)in vitro. Then the adhesion, proliferation, growth and functional expression of BMSCs were measured.[Result]Cytotoxicity test demonstrated that rhBMP-2/ACP delayed release nano-sized material had not affect the percentage of cell's proliferation with material-extracted liquid cultured with BMSCs and the cytotoxicity was graded zero. The adhesion, proliferation, configuration of the cells on the surface of this material were identical to the control group.[Conclusion]It was suggested that rhBMP-2/ACP delayed release nano-sized material might have good cellular biocompatibility,no cytotoxicity and not effected the normal functional expression of BMSCs in vitro.

Orthopedic Journal of China 2006;0(03):-
The original articles in recent years about solitary plasmacytomas of bone(SPB) were reviewed in terms of etiopathogenisis, diagnosis, therapy plan and prognosis.SPB is a rare tumor characterized by the uncontrolled proliferation of plasmocytes. After it is diagnosed by local biopsy and further immunocytochemistry test, the wide excision or thorough curettage in corporation with radiotherapy is the choice of treatment. The primary tumor size, the content and lasting time of M proteins or local recurrence evidence after properly treated are all closely correlated with SPB prognosis.SPB is a rare tumor with a tendency to grow into multiple myeloma. The correct diagnosis and treatmert in time and long-term fellow up are vital factors for prognosis.

Academic Journal of Second Military Medical University 1981;0(03):-
To evaluate the effects of diltiazem hydrochloride (D) and verapamil (V) on hypertensive left ventricular (LV) diastolic function, the measurement of pulsed Doppler transmittal inflow was performed in 44 patients (22 cases in each group) before, and at 3 h and 7 h after single large dose. Sixteen patients of D group and 11 of V group received routine dose for one month. The Doppler diastolic function indexes included EDC EV/AV, EA/TA AA/TA and 1/3 FFd. The result showed that blood pressure was reduced to the same level in two groups, but improvement of LV diastolic function was more significant in D group. It is concluded that two calcium antagonists can improvement of LV diastolic function after single large dose, but improvement of LV diastolic function is not completely related to reduction of Hood pressure. After one month, since D can reduce Wood pressure and improve mycardial ischemia more markedly than V, and the negative inotropic effect is lower than V, D is superior to V in improving LV diastolie function

Journal of Clinical Surgery 2001;0(04):-
Objective To study the clinical use of intramedullary interlocking nail in treatment of femoral and tibial fractures. Methods104 cases of femoral or tibial fractures were treated with intramedullary interlocking nails. Results The close and open reduction fractures had healed 6 10 and 8 12 weeks after surgery, and the fixation nails were taken out after 48 weeks. No broken nail, no delayed or nonunion, no infection, no fat embolism, no stiff joint occurred, All cases were followed up and the average following was 20 months without fracture. Conclusion The intramedullary interlocking nail had obvious advantage of reliable fixation, rotation and separation prevention, no need of external fixation support, high rate of fracture healing and allowance of early walk without support.

Chinese Journal of Minimally Invasive Surgery 2001;0(04):-
Objective To study the clinical application of posterior approach microendoscopy in the treatment of lumbar spinal stenosis. Methods One hundred and forty-two cases of degenerate lumbar spinal stenosis were treated by posterior approach limited decompression, total or semi laminectomy and decompression, or fenestration decompression from February 2000 to December 2001. Results Out of the 142 cases, posterior approach microendoscopic limited decompression was completed in 87 cases with full decompression obtained.Follow-up for a mean of 18 months in 82 cases revealed a rate of excellent-and-good of 92.7% (58 cases, excellent; 18 cases, good). No complications occurred. Conclusions Degenerate lumbar spinal stenosis, resulted from simple lumbar intervertebral disc herniation, hypertrophy of ligamentum flavumcan, and facet hypertrophy, can be effectively treated by posterior approach microendoscopic limited decompression. Proper selection of patients, full decompression and experienced operative skills are the key to satisfactory surgical results.

Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology 2006;0(05):-
OBJECTIVE To demonstrate a rare case of hepatic abscess caused by amebiasis and to discuss the reason of misdiagnosis.METHODS A fifty years old male patient with amebic liver abscess, misdiagnosed as hepatic(carcinoma),was studied.RESULTS The patient with a huge hepatic mass lesion was misdiagnosed as hepatic(carcinoma) and received interventional therapy four times within 13 months.Amebae were found in the(aspiration) of the lesion and in patient′s sputum. The temperature of the patient returned to normal range after(antibiotics) and anti-amebic therapy.CONCLUSIONS Amebic abscess is a clinically rare encountered pathology now. When to make the diagnosis, hepatic carcinoma should be carefully considered and differentiated.
