Objective To examine the expression of BMP4 in CNS of the developing rat. Methods In situ hybridization histochemistry(ISHH) was carried out on tissue sections using specific digoxigenin\|labeled oligonucleotide probe. Results It showed that BMP4 mRNA positive cells were located mainly in cerebellum and olfactory at E16.Strong positive signal was seen in hypoglossal nucleus, and moderate signal also seen in spinocerebellar tract and spinal lemniscus at P1\|2.The number of BMP4 mRNA positive cells was increased in the frontal cortex, parietal cortex, and hippocampus subiculum at P1W.The peak of BMP4 expression was in cortex and periamydaloid cortex.Widely distributed BMP4 mRNA positive cells were detected in cortex and hippocampus of rats at P1M,strong positive signal was observed in temporal CNS at P3M,strong positive signal was observed in hippocampus, temporal corex and periamydaloid cortex, lateral nucleus of thalamus and paraventricular nucleus of hypothalamus.BMP4 mRNA positive cells were also found in corex, hippocampus, hypothalamus and thalamus at P18M.Conclusion\ These results indicated that BMP4 could play an important role in CNS development of rats.

Objective To observe the efficacy of vitamin B2 combined with smecta in the treatment of infant diaper rash. Methods Fifty-nine infants were divided into the treatment group with 32 infants and the control group with 27 infants. The treatment group was given vitamin B2 combined with smecta treatment and the control group was given zinc oxide treatment. The efficacy was observed after 7 days of treatment. Results The remarkably effective rate of the treatment group was 87.5% and the total effective rate was 96.9%. The remarkably effective rate of the control group was 22.2% and the total effective rate was 66.7%. Statistical analysis showed that the two groups were significantly dif-ferent in the efficacy (P<0.01). Conclusion Vitamin B2 combined with smecta is a safe and reliable treatment scheme for infant diaper rash.

OBJECTIVE:
To evaluate the effect of different cumulative energy composite parameters on the outcomes of phacoemulsification cataract surgery in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
METHODS:
A total of 252 patients with cataract (involving 252 eyes) and type 2 diabetes mellitus received phacoemulsification cataract surgery in our hospital between January, 2017 and June, 2019. The patients were divided into group A (150 cases) and group B (102 cases) for cataract phacoemulsification with cumulative energy composite parameters of 8 and 10, respectively, and 90 nondiabetic patients received cataract phacoemulsification with a cumulative energy composite parameters of 10 served as the control. The macular thickness, best corrected visual acuity, visual acuity, and postoperative leakage in the 3 groups were evaluated at 1 week, 1 month, and 3 months after the surgery.
RESULTS:
The visual acuity was significantly improved after phacoemulsification better in all the 3 groups. At 3 months after the surgery, the proportions of patients with visual acuity ratio < 0.1 or >1.0, macular thickness, best corrected visual acuity and permeability differed significantly between groups A and B ( < 0.05), but not between group A and the control group ( > 0.05). At 1 month and 3 months after the surgery, the proportion of patients with visual acuity ratio < 0.1 was significantly lower and the rate of visual acuity ratio >1.0 was higher in group A than in group B. At 1 month after the operation, the total leakage rate in group A (31.1%) was higher than that in the control group (21.1%) but comparable with that in group B; at 3 months, the total leakage rates were significantly lower in group A than in group B (10.0% 32.4%, < 0.05), and the leakage resulted mainly from local and diffuse permeation.
CONCLUSIONS
Phacoemulsification can effectively improve the visual acuity of cataract patients especially in non-diabetic patients. A lower cumulative energy composite parameter achieves better outcomes in type 2 diabetic patients with cataract. The macular thickness, local infiltration and diffuse leakage can be used as indicators for assessing visual recovery and stabilization after phacoemulsification.

Rab27a gene can participate in the secretion, transportation and exocytosis of T lymphocytes, mast cells, neutrophils, pancreatic β cells and hematopoietic cells through its encoded proteins, and participate in the development of diseases such as albinism, cancer, diabetes, inflammation and thrombosis. In addition, the secretion regulation of Rab27a to exosomes has also received much attention. The current research status of the secretion of exosome and the genetically modified exosomes of Rab27a gene in the treatment of diseases such as inflammatory injury, thrombosis and tumor were reviewed.
