Childhood rheumatic diseases are multi-system diseases which affect connective tissue of whole body and lung is one of the main target organs. The review focus on the utility of high-resolution computed tomography (HRCT)in childhood rheumatic lung disease, including HRCT technique, the normal and abnormal HRCT imaging appearances,then emphasizes and illustrates HRCT imaging futures of several childhood rheumatic lung diseases.

OBJECTIVETo explor the curative effect of double pedicle sliding skin flap for correction of cryptotia.

METHODSFrom January 2011 to October 2014, 7 cases with cryptotia (12 ears) were treated. We designed a double pedicle sliding skin flap above the helix. The flap was slided downward to form a new auriculocephalic sulcus. The other wound was covered by skin graft.

RESULTSAll wounds healed very well with no complication. The follow-up period ranged from 3 months to 1 year, with an average of (5.67 ± 3.38) months. The ear had stable appearance with no recurrence. The result was satisfactory.

CONCLUSIONSThe method is simple with reliable flap survival rates. The new auriculocephalic sulcus is stable and resistant. It's a good choice for correction of cryptotia.

Objective: To investigate the function of the heath expenditure in the role of the economic growth through the research on the effect by the human capital. Methods: To establish endogenous growth models and human capital growth models of simultaneous equations, to analyze the mechanism by the method of a three-stage least squares. Results: Growth of human capital is positively related to economic growth, health expenditure growth is negatively related to economic growth, health expenditure growth and growth of human capital is positively correlated. Conclusion: Influences of health expenditure growth on economic growth depends on the comprehensive response.

To analyze the relationship between hospital non-price competition behavior and market structure, analyze the relationship between hospital market construction and health care costs gtowth. Methods:Using cross-province data(SCP) theory to establish the regression function of health cost expenditure, hospital market concentration ratio and the occupancy of public hospital market, process the empirical analysis based on the two-factor effectiveness model of panel data. Results: There is no medical arms race in hospital business under the current market concentration. Conclusion: The reinforcement of market competition played a more important role in the improvement of operational efficiency rather than the differences in the nature of property rights and the profit of hospitals.

Objective:To investigate the function of the quality factor in the growth of the total heath expenditure, in order to provide references for making the object of the health policy. Methods: Through the decomposition the identical equation of the growth of the total expenditure on health, to analyze the contribution of medical service quality and its factor. Results: The sustaining improvement of medical service quality in the important factor on the constant growth of the total expenditure on health. Conclusion: The primary objective of health policy is to improve the quality of medical services, and the secondary is to control the expense.

To investigate the possibility of resection arthroplasty of the sternoclavicular joint in treatment of dislocation of this joint.Methods:Five patients who had had resection arthroplasty of the sternoclavicular joint and in whom the costoclavicular ligament had to be reconstructed,follow-up averaged 1.8 years.Results:The average duration of follow-up were 1.8 years.All of the patients had an excellent result,no cases had infection、pain and abnormalities.Conclusion:We believe that resection arthroplasty of the sternoclavicular joint and preservation reconstruction of the costoclavicular joint is essential,and it is a satisfactory and safe way for the treatment of dislocation of the sternoclavicular joint.

Objective To assess the value of CT, PET, PET/CT in diagnosis of peritoneal metastases with Meta analysis. Methods Articles of CT, PET or PET/CT on peritoneal metastases published in English or Chinese from Jan 2000 to May 2008 were collected, and histopathological and (or) surgical findings were taken as golden standards. The sensitivity, specificity, summary receiver operating characteristic (SROC) curves, area under the curve (AUC) and the heterogeneity were calculated with software of SAS 8.0, Meta-DiSc 1.4 and STATA 10.0. Results The results of Meta analysis from 11selected articals showed that PET had the highest pooled specificity [0.96, (0.91-0.98)];PET/CT had highest pooled sensitivity [0.77, (0.67-0.85)]. The AUC and Q~* of PET, PET/CT and CT was (0.92, 0.85), (0.99, 0.96), (0.91, 0.84), respectively. AUC of PET/CT was higher than that of CT (Z=2.33, P<0.05). Conclusion PET/CT is a high accuracy diagnostic tool for detecting peritoneal metastases.

ObjectiveTo evaluate the ability of high resolution magnetic resonance (MR) imaging at 3.0 tesla to depict the characterization of human carotid arterial vessel wall and detect atherosclerotic lesions ex vivo in comparison to histopathologic results. MethodsEighteen carotid arteries obtained from 9 elderly donors underwent fat-suppressed T1 - and T2-weighted MR imaging at 3.0 tesla MR system with a mouse coil. Corresponding histological sections were obtained for the comparison. Objective:To assess the differences among the expressions of p38 mitogen activated protein kinases (MAPK),phospho-p38MAPK and nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB)in oral lichen planus (OLP)and oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC ).Methods:In the study,53 cases of OLP,45 of OSCC,and 18 controls were obtained and 4-μm-thick histological sections were prepared from formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue blocks.The expressions of p38MAPK,phospho-p38MAPK and NF-κB were detected by immunohistochemistry staining.Furthermore,the expressions of p38MAPK and phospho-p38MAPK were detected using Western blotting analyses in the fresh tissues from 1 1 cases of OLP,5 ca-ses of OSCC,and 7 cases of the controls.Results:p38MAPK was over-expressed in the lamina propria, but lowly expressed in the epithelium in OLP group.Phospho-p38MAPK was lower expressed in OLP group than in OSCC and control groups.NF-κB was found over-expressed in the lamina propria in OLP group.p38MAPK was found expressed in all the samples in the 3 groups.The expression of phospho-p38MAPK was observed in 8 (8/11)OLP samples,5 (5/5)OSCC samples and 4 (4/7)controls by Western blotting,but no significant differences were found within the 3 groups.Conclusion:p38MAPK can be detected in normal oral mucosa,OLP and OSCC.phospho-p38MAPK may be related to the onset and progression of OSCC.The role of p38MAPK in OLP is yet to be revealed.
