Objective To investigate the clinical and imaging features of mild encephalitis/encephalopathy with a reversible splenial lesion of corpus callosum (MERS) in children. Methods Four patients of MERS, who were diagnosed and treated in the First Hospital of Jilin University during 2013-2014, were collected retrospectively.Their clinical, laboratory, radiologic data and the related literatures were reviewed. Results Four patients onsetted as gastrointestinal symptom (3 cases) or respiratory (1 case) symptom, in accompany with disturbance of consciousness (3 cases of drowsiness, 1 case of lethargy), convulsions (4 cases), headache (1 case) as the main symptoms.Abnormal neurological signs included positive cervical resistance (3 cases), positive bilateral Babinski sign (3 cases), bilateral chemosis (2 cases).Laboratory test showed the average blood sodium was 131.6 mmol/L, while the cerebrospinal fluid test only showed abnormality in 1 case.In etiology examination, 2 cases showed human rotavirus antigen positive, and Mycoplasma pneumoniae antibody was found positive in 2 cases.Cranial MRI showed reversible lesion in the splenium of corpus callosum (patchy iso-or hypo-intensity on T1 WI and apparent diffusion coefficient, hyper-intensity on T2WI, FLAIR and DWI, clear boundary). After active treatment, clinical symptoms disappeared within 1 week, and cranial MRI lesions disappeared within 2 weeks. Conclusion The clinical presentations of MERS, which is a clinical-radiological syndrome, are sudden onset and mild, with characteristic changes in brain MRI and good prognosis.

Journal of China Pharmaceutical University 2009;40(3):209-212
Aim: To study the antitumor activities of the constituents of Cephalotaxus fortunei distributed in Guizhou province. Methods: The constituents were isolated by column chromatography and identified by physical and spectral analysis. Meanwhile, the anti-tumor activities of some compounds were evaluated by sulforhodamine B( SRB) and MTT assay. Results: Eleven compounds were isolated and identified as apigenin (Ⅰ), β-sitosterol (Ⅱ), acetylcephalotaxine (Ⅲ), chrysoeriol (Ⅳ), drupacine ( Ⅴ), 1-hentriacontanol ( Ⅵ), 7, 3', 4' -trihydroxyfla-vone (Ⅶ), sugiol ( Ⅷ), cephalotaxine (Ⅸ), wllsonine (Ⅹ), and hainanolide (Ⅺ), respectively. Biological screening results demonstrated that some of the tested compounds exhibited the antitumor activities in vitro. Conclusion: Compounds Ⅱ, Ⅵ-Ⅷ were isolated from this plant for the first time. Compound Ⅺ has a better inhibitory activity on cell line A549 and K562 .

Chinese Medical Equipment Journal 1989;0(02):-
This paper designs a heart sound processing analog circuit, in which the amplification circuit, the filter circuit and the lifting of electrical level circuit are involved. It also gives a safety design problem analysis using an electret capacitor microphone to pick-up the heart sound signals. It is proved that the circuit is reliable and effective.

OBJECTIVETo study the hasubanan type alkaloids in Stephania hernandifolia.
METHODThe dried herbs of S. hernandifolia. were extracted with 95% ethanol. After removal of the solvent, the residue was first partitioned between acid water and petroleum ether, then the aqueous layer was basified and extracted with chloroform to obtain crude alkaloids. Column chromatograghic methods with on silica gel, Rp-18, MCI CHP 20P, Sephadex LH-20 were applied for the isolation and purification of the crude alkaloid fraction. The structures were elucidated by their physicochemical properties and spectral data.
RESULTNine hasubanan type alkaloids were obtained and identified as aknadinine(1), longanone(2), stephasunoline (3), N-methylstephuline(4), epistephamiersine(5), prostephabyssine(6), aknadilactam(7), dihydroepistephamiersine(8), hasubanonine(9).
CONCLUSIONCompounds 2-8 were isolated from this plant for the first time.

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2009;26(2):230-238
In order to satisfy the current demand for fast and high-quality prosthodontics, we have carried out a research in the fabrication process of the porcelain fused to metal crown on molar with CAD/CAM technology. Firstly, we get the data of the surface mesh on preparation teeth through a 3D-optical grating measuring system. Then, we reconstruct the 3D-model crown with the computer-aided design software which was developed by ourselves. Finally, with the 3D-model data, we produce a metallic crown on a high-speed CNC carving machine. The result has proved that the metallic crown can match the preparation teeth ideally. The fabrication process is reliable and efficient, and the restoration is precise and steady in quality.

Objective:To explore the risk factors and prognosis of lymph node metastasis and residual cancer following additional surgery after endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) in early gastric cancer (EGC).Methods:Retrospective analysis was performed on the data of 42 patients with EGC who received additional surgery after ESD in General Surgery Department of Beijing Friendship Hospital, Capital Medical University from August 2012 to August 2019, including 35 males and 7 females, with a male to female ratio of 5∶1 and an average age of 62 (32 to 82 years old). The primary outcomes were lymph node metastasis risk and residual cancer risk, while the secondary outcomes were 3-year and 5-year overall survival. Logistic regression model was used to analyze the risk factors of lymph node metastasis and residual cancer, and Kaplan-Meier survival analysis was performed. Results:Multivariate analysis showed that gender ( OR: 45.3, 95% CI: 3.762-546.250, P=0.003), invasion depth ( OR: 3.965, 95% CI: 1.1019-15.432, P=0.047) and histological type ( OR: 9.455, 95% CI: 0.946-94.482, P=0.049) were independent risk factors for lymph node metastasis of early gastric cancer. The type of tumor invasion ( OR: 10.675, 95% CI: 1.840-61.932, P=0.008) and the horizontal resection margin ( OR: 9.341, 95% CI: 1.47-59.346, P=0.018) were independent risk factors affecting the occurrence of residual cancer. Stratified analysis showed that in men, the tumor invaded to T 1b-SM1, and the pathological type was undifferentiated; and in women, the tumor invaded to T 1b-SM2, regardless of the pathological type, lymph node metastasis occurred. When the horizontal margin was positive, regardless of the infiltration pattern; and the infiltration pattern is INF-c, regardless of the horizontal margin, residual cancer occurred. Survival analysis showed that the 3-year (100% vs 60%, P< 0.001) and 5-year overall survival rate (100% vs 25%, P< 0.001) were better than those with lymph node metastasis. The 3-year (100% vs 80%) and 5-year overall survival rates (100% vs 62.5%) of patients without residual cancer were significantly better than those with residual cancer, with statistically significant differences ( P<0.001). Conclusions:Gender, invasion depth and histological type are independent risk factors for lymph node metastasis of early gastric cancer, and tumor invasion form and horizontal incision margin are independent risk factors for the appearance of residual cancer. The long-term survival rate of patients with early gastric cancer without lymph node metastasis and residual cancer was significantly better than that of patients with lymph node metastasis and residual cancer. Therefore, ESD is one of the safe and effective treatment methods for patients with early gastric cancer, but some patients need additional surgery according to the specific situation in order to improve the prognosis.
