Objective To detect the in-vitro recovery of tetramethylpyrazine phosphate (TMPP) in microdialysis probe and to study its stability. Methods The recovery of TMPP was detected by concentration difference method (increment method and decrement method ). The effect of flow rates and concentrations on recovery was studied. Results The recovery detected by increment method was as the same as that detected by decrement method; TMPP recovery was independent of TMPP concentration in the external medium. TMPP recovery had good stability. Conclusion Microdialysis sampling can be used for the pharmacokinetic study of TMPP and decrement method (ie. retrodialysis) can be used for the determination of TMPP recovery.

Objective To investigate the effect of nalmefene on sufentanil and propofol anesthesia for abortion and its impact on BIS. Methods One hundred and twenty patients undergoing abortion patients were randomly divided into group A, B, C, and D (n = 30 each). Patients in group A and B received 0.2 μg/kg or 0.3 μg/kg sufentanil, respectively, followed with 1.5 mg/kg propofol for induction of anesthesia post-pretreatment with 0.2 μg/kg nalmefene. Patients in group C and D received induction of anesthesia as patients in group A and B. According to the BIS and fluctuation of hemodynamic , the amount of propofol was adjusted. If necessary, additional single intravenous injection of 0.5 mg/kg propofol. The mean arterial pressure (MAP), heart rate (HR), pulse oxygen saturation (SpO2) and respiratory rate (RR) in patient before injection (T1), the eyelash reflex (T2), dilatation (T3), curettage (T4) and surgery awake (T5) were detected. The additional amount of propofol , operation time , recovery time of surgery , the steward score of orientation recovery after 1min of surgery , body movement reaction , cough , respiratory depression , postoperative visual analog digital score (VAS) 15 min later were also recorded in each group. Results Compared with group A, propofol could reduce the intraoperative body movement reaction rate , with lower postoperative VAS in group B and group D (P <0.05, respectively), with no significant difference between group C and group A (P > 0.05). The rapid recovery, surgery within 1 min orientation recovery were higher in group B, C, D compared with group A (P <0.05). However, orientation recovery score in group D was higher than that in group B (P < 0.05); The respiratory depression and choking were higher in group A and B than those in group C , D (P < 0.05, respectively). Conclusion The doses of 0.2 μg/kg nalmefene can effectively antagonize the respiratory depression , delay recovery and other adverse reactions in painless which induced by sufentanil , and the dose of nalmefene in this study failed to enhance the effect of analgesic and change the BIS values.

Objective To explore the relationship among absolute income, big five personality and life satisfaction, and the mediating effect of relative income. Methods 5927 citizens from different cities were assessed by NEO five-factor inventory (NEO-FFI) and satisfaction with life scale (SWLS).Results (1) The mean score of life satisfaction was 19.61 ± 5.99.Female scored higher than male, and there were statistically significant differences between them (19.98 ± 5.92 vs 19.14 ± 5.95,t =-5.08,P < 0.01).(2) The absolute income, extraversion and conscientiousness had a significant main effect on life satisfaction (β =0.13 ~ 0.19,P < 0.01),neuroticism,openness and agreeableness had a significant main negative effect on life satisfaction (β =-0.04--0.15,P<0.01).(3)The relative income had a significant main effect on life satisfaction (β =0.35,P <0.01).(4)Relative income had a mediating effect on the relation between absolute income, neuroticism, extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness and life satisfaction (P < 0.01).Conclusion Relative income has a mediating effect on the relation between absolute income, personality and life satisfaction.

Objective To evaluate the clinical outcome in the treatment of humerus shaft comminuted fractures using limited open reduction and internal fixation combined with an external fixator. Methods Data of 80 patients with comminuted humerus shaft fractures treated from January 2005 to January 2013 were analysed retrospectively. All the patients underwent limited open reduction and internal fixation combined with an external fixator (treatment group) and open reduction and plate fixation (control group) according to the random number table. In the treatment group, there were 40 patients (28 males,12 females),at mean age of 33.5 years (range,21-54 years),with causes of injury including traffic accidents in five patients, falls in nine, crashes in seven and others in six. There were seven patients with open fractures and 33 with closed fractures. In the control group, there were 40 patients (25 males,15 females),at mean age of 32.9 years (range,19-55 years),with causes of injury including traffic accidents in 16 patients, tumbling in seven, crush in seven and others in ten. There were eight patients with open fractures and 32 with closed fractures. The operation time, intraoperative blood loss, bone union time and complications in both groups were recorded.Clinical efficacy was evaluated using the Stewart and Hundley standard. Results Mean follow-up was 19 months (range,15-24 months).Treatment and control groups showed significant differences in operation time [(55.5 ± 10.3) minutes vs.(120.5 ± 15.3) minutes],intraoperative blood loss [(120.4 ± 20.7) ml vs.(245.4 ± 26.7) ml] and bone union time [(11.6 ± 1.3) weeks vs.(14.9 ± 2.3) weeks] (P < 0.05).Rate of incision infection was 8% (3/40) in treatment group and 10% (4/40) in control group (P > 0.05).In treatment group the results were excellent in 31 patients and good in nine.In control group the results were excellent in 27 patients, good in nine, fair in one and poor in three. One patient with radial nerve injury after a second surgery for implant removal and two patients with osteomyelitis or bone nonunion were noted in control group. Conclusion Limited open reduction and internal fixation in combination with an external fixator is associated with small trauma, easy operation, short operation time, few bleeding, rigid fixation, early functional exercises and reduced bone nonunion for treatment of comminuted humerus shaft fractures, which exhibits great clinical value.
