Objective To explore the value of strain rate imaging (SRI) technology in the diagnosis of hypertension patient with re-gional left ventricular early diastolic dysfunction. Methods 50 essential hypertension patients were divided into hypertension Group Ⅰ and Group Ⅱ, including 31 patients with normal left ventricular and 19 patients with left ventricular hypertrophy. 25 healthy people were used as the control group. SRI was done in the six different basal myocardial segments and the parameters of SRI were compared with that of Doppler tissue imaging (DTI) and pulse Doppler (PW). Results In the hypertension group, SRe of the six different basal myocardial segments was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05), but (SRa) of hypertension group was higher (P<0.05). SRe was negatively correlated with the patients'illness development (r=-0.89, P<0.05), but SRa was positively correlated (r=0.97, P<0.05). And the SRe/SRa<1 detection rate of Group Ⅱ was higher than that in Group Ⅰ, and the ratio in the control group was lowest(P<0.05). Total detection rate of SRI (88%) was higher than Em/Am <1 of DTI (79.67%) and E/A < 1 of PW(60%), and these changes were more obvious in Group Ⅰ. SRI was higher than DTT and PW (P<0.05). Conclusion Compared with traditional technology and methods, SRI could pro-vide more accurate diagnoses to hypertension patient with regional left ventricular early diastolic dysfunction.

Objective:To explore the clinical characteristics of chronic kidney disease (CKD) at the stage 3-5D in children with renal anemia, and provide reference data for standardized diagnosis and treatment.Methods:A single-center retrospective study was conducted to collect clinical data in children with CKD at Beijing Children's Hospital Affiliated to Capital Medical University from January 2016 to December 2018. The patients were divided into CKD stage 3 group, stage 4 group and stage 5 group according to estimated glomerular filtration rate. The indexes of anemia among the groups were compared. Data on anemia indicators, treatment, and anemia improvement in maintenance dialysis children at stage 5D were analyzed.Results:A total of 171 children with CKD were included in the study. The hemoglobin levels in CKD stage 3 group, stage 4 group and stage 5 group were (126.4±20.5) g/L, (90.8±26.0) g/L and (78.7±18.4) g/L, respectively, and there was a statistical difference among the groups ( χ2=61.982, P<0.001; trend test F=71.061, P<0.001). The incidences of anemia in children with CKD stage 3, stage 4 and stage 5 were 27.3% (9/33), 83.3% (25/30) and 95.4% (105/108), respectively. Mild, moderate and severe anemia in children with CKD stage 3 accounted for 15.2%(5/33), 12.1% (4/33) and 0(0), respectively. Mild, moderate and severe anemia in children with CKD stage 4 accounted for 26.7% (8/30), 50.0% (15/30) and 6.7% (2/30), respectively. Mild, moderate and severe anemia in children with CKD stage 5 accounted for 21.3%(23/108), 60.2%(65/108) and 15.8%(17/108), respectively. Anemia type was mostly normocytic anemia. The hemoglobin of 30 children with CKD stage 5D at the initial stage of dialysis was (79.3±16.3) g/L. Twenty-three children with CKD stage 5D received erythropoietin combined with oral iron or intravenous iron therapy. The hemoglobin compliance rates in children with maintenance dialysis in initial phase, 1 month, 2 months and 3 months were 6.7% (2/30), 16.7%(5/30), 63.3%(19/30) and 90.0%(27/30), respectively. The correction time for anemia was (2.5±1.0) months. Twelve children with CKD stage 5D received iron sucrose infusion, and no adverse reaction occurred. Conclusions:Renal anemia has a high incidence in children with CKD. Early and standardized treatment is of great significance to improve outcome of renal anemia. Venous iron infusion is a safe and effective treatment method for children with maintenance dialysis.

Objective To clone and express the ns5a gene of hepatitis C virus(HCV) 1b strain DY.Methods By using the prokaryotic cell gene engineering,HCV ns5a gene was amplified with nested PCR from the plasmid HCV17 of HCV 1b strain DY full-length gene and inserted into the cloning pMD18-T vector.The cloned HCV ns5a gene was separated and subcloned into expression vector pET-28a and induced by IPTG in E.coli.BL21.The expressed product was identified by SDS-PAGE and Western-blot methods.Results Recombinant expression plasmid pet-28a-ns5a was constructed and expressed successfully.Conclusion HCV ns5a gene was cloned and expressed.This might be helpful for further studies on the nature and biological properties of the ns5a gene.

Objective To evaluate the value of percutaneous hyperthermia-chemotherapy (PHC)under CT guided in treating original and secondary hepatic and pulmonary malignant tumor.Methods Percutaneous hyperthermia and chemotherapy under CT guided was performed for 21 patient with original and secondary hepatic and pulmonary malignant tumor.Chemical drugs against tumors were warmed to 55～60℃ and injected into the tumors.Injected volume was according to:V=4/3 ?(r+0.5 cm) 3.Observation depends upon attenuation changes of CT scanning and biochemical index(AFP)The therapeutic effect was classified into Ⅰ～Ⅴgrade.Results The period of observation was 36 monthes,In 20 cases,survival period was 8～22 monthes,average survival period was 16 monthes.A patient had treated with PHC and transcatheter arterial embolization and was alive for 28 monthes.Total effective rate was 95.2%.Conclusion PHC under CT guidence is an effective method in treating hepatic and pulmonary malignant tumors.especially for unresected tumors.Cooperating transcatheter arterial embolization(TAE)can raise curative effect.

AIM:To investigate the impact of long-term administration of pentoxifylline (PTX) on morphology and inflammation of the lung in mouse models with chronic exposure of cigarette smoke. METHODS: Male BALB/c mice were randomized into the following four study groups: smoke-exposure only, shamed smoke-exposure, smoke-exposure and PTX administration, shamed smoke-exposure and PTX administration. Animals assigned to smoke-exposure were put inside a chamber twice a day for cigarette smoke exposure. The oral dose of PTX allocated to each mouse was about 20 mg?kg-1?d-1. Animals were sacrificed anaesthetically at day 120. Slices of lung were stained with H&E for pathological analysis. Modified ashcroft pulmonary fibrosis score (mAPFS) was estimated, and IFN-? (a Th1 cytokine), IL-4 (a Th2 cytokine) in broncho-alveolar lavage fluid (BALF) and hydroxyproline in mouse lung tissue were measured by commercial kits of ELISA assay. RESULTS: Lungs in smoke-exposure only group exhibited emphysema-like morphology, low mAPFS (median 1.50, 95%CI 1.25-3.75), lowest hydroxyproline (2.43?0.11) mg/L and lowest ratio of IL-4 to IFN-? (20.3?25.5), whereas lungs in smoke-exposure and PTX interference group exhibited interstitial fibrosis-like morphology, highest mAPFS (4.75, 4.09-5.71), highest hydroxyproline (5.57?0.55) mg/L and highest ratio of IL-4 to IFN-? (70.7?59.9) among the four study groups (P

ObjectiveTo observe the effect of moxibustion with medicine cake on mRNA expression of matrix metalloproteinases-2,9 (MMP-2，MMP-9)in artherosclerosis (AS) plaques of rabbits, and to explore the effect of moxibustion with medicine cake to the stability of artherosclerosis plaques of rabbits.MethodsAS rabbit models were established by feeding high-fat diet. 75 New Zealand big-eared rabbits were divided into 5 groups, blank group (blank control group), model group (AS model group), direct moxibustion group (AS model + moxa cone direct moxibustion), moxibustion on medicine cake group (AS model + moxibustion on medicine cake), western medicine group (AS model + atorvastatin), 15 rabbits in each group. Then the mRNA expression of MMP-2, MMP-9 was detected in the atherosclerotic plaques of rabbits with in situ hybridization.ResultsThe expressions of MMP-2, MMP-9 in the atherosclerotic plaques of rabbits were all be controlled in direct moxibustion group, moxibustion on medicine cake group, western medicine group (P<0.01 or P<0.05). The expressions of MMP-2 and MMP-9 in the moxibustion on medicine cake group and western medicine group were obviously lower than those of the direct moxibustion group.ConclusionThe expression of MMP-2, MMP-9 in the atherosclerotic plaques of rabbits can all be controlled in direct moxibustion group, moxibustion on medicine cake group, and western medicine group; as well as the plaques can all be made stable. The efficacy in the moxibustion on medicine cake group and western medicine group is superior to that of the direct moxibustion group.

Objective To investigate the efficacy of individualized interferon (IFN)-alpha therapy in HBeAg-negative chronic hepatitis B patients. Methods Seventy- six Chinese HBeAg-negative chronic hepatitis B patients proven by liver biopsy were treated with 5 MU recombinant IFN-alpha 1b subcutaneously thrice every week. All the patients were followed up for at least 24 months the combined responses were defined as normalization of serum alanine transaminase (ALT) and HBV DNA＜3 log10 copy/mL. An intention-to-treat (ITT) analysis was used in this paper in which all 76 patients were included. Results Six patients were lost. Treatment duration was in the range 2-24 months with a median of 8.5 months, and combined responses were achieved at a median of 6.0 months (range 2-19 months) of treatment duration.Seventy-five-percentile of treatment duration to endpoints was 10.0 months. The combined response rate was 46.1% (35/76) at the end of treatment, 43.3% (33/76) at 12-month follow-up and 40.8% (31/76) at 24-month follow-up. The relapse rate was 20. 0% (7/35) and 25. 7% (9/35) at 12-month and 24-month follow-up, respectively. Higher necroinflammatory activity in liver biopsy predicted a good response, while gender, age, liver fibrosis, baseline ALT, aspartate aminotransferase levels and baseline HBV DNA levels were not impact factors of therapeutic effects by binary Logistic regression analysis.Conclusion Individualized prolonged IFN-alpha regimen lead to considerable sustained disease suppression in patients with HBeAg-negative chronic hepatitis B.

Objective To explore the willingness ofhemodialysis nurses and current application of indwelling needles for dialysis. Methods Based on the method of random survey and SPSS 22.0 statistical software, 295 hemodialysis nurses from 34 hospitals in Shenzhen were investigated by aself-designed questionnaire in a way to explore and application of indwelling needles for dialysis and the nurses' willingness of using them. Results Among 248 collected valid questionnaires, there were 200 (80.6%) hemodialysis nurses who are willing to use dialysis indwells. Univariate analysis showed the results are influenced by the class of hospitals and the safety of indwelling needles in their mind (P＜ 0.05). Multivariate analysis showed that whether nurses know dialysis indwelling needle and the safety of the dialysis indwelling needles in their mind are the influencing factors of their willingness to use the indwelling needle for dialysis. There were 167 (67.34%) nurses who had never used the dialysis indwelling needle. The first two influence factor of promotion of dialysis indwelling needle were the entrenched operating habits (31.05%) and their department had not applied the usage of them (27.82%).The biggest concern of hemodialysis nurses was the fixation of the indwelling needle (16.13%), followed by the punch/seal problem (8.87%). Conclusions The vast majority of hemodialysis nurses were willing to use dialysis indwelling needle in nursing work, but its promotion and application was not optimistic. Therefore, intervention measures should be carried out at individual, department and hospitallevel, intensifying the training and conceptual changes of department regulators and nurses.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the compositions of Th1/Th2/Th3 cells in chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV)-infected individuals by determining the expression of interleukin-4 (IL-4), inetrferon-gamma (IFN-gamma), and transform growth factor-beta (TGF-beta) in single CD4(+) T cells isolated from peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) and the role of polarized Th cell populations in chronic HBV-infection was discussed.

METHODSPBMCs from chronically infected HBV individuals were isolated, stimulated by PMA/Ionomycin/Monensin, and IL-4, IFN-gamma and TGF-beta production by CD4(+) T cells was determined by using fluorescence activated cell sorter (FACS) analysis.

RESULTSThe percentage of IFN-gamma-producing T cells, IL-4-producing T cells and TGF-beta-producing T cells ranged from 2.3% - 18.6%, 1.1% - 8.7% and 0.7% - 7.1% respectively in CD4(+) T cells from non-infected individuals. Most of CD4(+) T cells from PBMCs in chronically infected HBV individuals were Th0 cells. The proportion of Th1 cells increased significantly with hepatic inflammatory activity, and in the active period of chronic hepatitis B infection were higher than those in the non-active period (P < 0.05). Th2 cell percentage in CD4(+) T cells from HBV-infected individuals did not differ significantly (P > 0.05), but were higher than that from controls (P < 0.05). Th3 cell percentage in CD4(+) T cells from asymptomatic carrier (AsC) group was higher than that in the chronic hepatitis B (CHB) and control groups (P < 0.05).

CONCLUSIONSTh1 phenotype cytokines were positively correlated with hepatic inflammatory activity in chronic hepatitis B and Th2 cells may be associated with the persistence of HBV infection. Th3 cells cooperating with Th2 cells can negatively regulate immune responses and may be associated with the immune tolerant state of chronic HBV infection.

OBJECTIVETo describe the prevalence and relationship between screen time and sub-health status among middle school students in weekdays and weekends.

METHODSWith multistage stratified random cluster sampling, 14 400 students from junior and senior middle schools in 288 classes of 30 schools in 4 cities( Shenyang, Chongqing, Xinxiang, Guangzhou) were investigated in October, 2011. A total of 13 817 valid questionnaires were retained for analysis. Survey content includes general demographic information, screen time, sub-health state. Logistic regression model was used to analyze the relationship between screen time and sub-health status.

RESULTSThe screen time among middle school students > 2 h/d on weekdays and weekends were 15.1% (2 085/13 817) and 58.5% (8 077/13 817) , respectively. Among them, the boys' screen time > 2 h/d on weekdays and weekends were 17.9% (1 187/6 644) and 61.3% (4 070/6 644), which were higher than girls (12.5% (898/7 173), 55.9% (4 007/7 173) )(χ² values were 76.95 and 41.35, respectively. P < 0.01). The prevalence of physical sub-health status, psychological sub-health status and sub-health status were 24.8% (3 431/13 817), 21.7% (2 997/13 817) and 22.1% (3 051/13 817), respectively. Among them, the girls' prevalence of physical sub-health status, psychological sub-health status and sub-health status were 26.0% (1 863/7 173), 22.9% (1642/7 173) and 23.1% (1 658/7 173) ), respectively, which were higher than boys' (23.6% (1 568/6 644), 20.4% (1 355/6 644) and 21.0% (1 393/6 644)) (χ² values were 10.39, 12.66 and 9.25, respectively. P < 0.05). The senior students' prevalence of physical sub-health status, psychological sub-health status and sub-health status were 31.6% (2 176/6 884) , 28.3% (1 946/6 884) and 28.9% (1 990/6 884), respectively, which were higher than junior students' (18.1% (1 255/6 933), 15.2% (1 051/6 933) and 15.3% (1 061/6 933)) (χ² values were 337.65, 349.46 and 371.54, respectively, P < 0.05). After adjusting on demographic characteristics, compared with screen time ≤ 2 h/d on weekday, screen time > 2 h/d on weekday was significantly associated with physical sub-health status, psychological sub-health status and sub-health status (OR (95% CI): 1.39 (1.25-1.55), 1.62 (1.45-1.81) and 1.59 (1.43-1.78)). And compared with screen time ≤ 2 h/d on weekend, screen time > 2 h/d on weekend was also significantly associated with physical sub-health status, psychological sub-health status and sub-health status (OR(95% CI):1.49 (1.37-1.61), 1.81 (1.66-1.98), and 1.71 (1.57-1.87)).

CONCLUSIONThe rate of the screen time > 2 h/d and the detection ratio of sub-health among the middle school students in Shenyang, Chongqing, Xinxiang, Guangzhou in 2011 were high. Screen time >2 h/d on weekdays or weekends was a risk factor for sub-health status.
