1.Histo-blood group antigen and rotavirus infection
Journal of Clinical Pediatrics 2015;(8):751-754
Rotavirus (RV) is one of the major pathogens responsible for acute viral gastro-enteritis in children. The infec-tion of RV is dependent upon the recognition of the host cell speciifc receptors and attachment. Thus, receptors are the important factors of infection. Recent studies have suggested that a genetic factor might play a role in the susceptibility of hosts to RV infec-tion. Histo-blood group antigens have recently been discovered as receptors binding to RV, which are important for the study of evolution. Thus it will be also crucial for the pathogenesis and epidemiology and prevention and treatment for RV. In this article, we will review the correlation of the RV infection and histo-blood group antigens and further discuss the development of optimal vaccine.

Objective To explore the influence of all-trans retinoic acid(ATRA) on in-vitro proliferation of human lung adeno-carcinoma cell line A549 and to preliminarily study its mechanism .Methods The human lung adenocarcinoma cell line A549 was taken as the experimental group .The cells in the experimental group and the control group were detected by using 3-(4 ,5-dimethyl-thiazol-2-yl)-2 ,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide(MTT) assay for calculating the cell growth inhibition rate ;the microstructure of the cultured cells was observed by the transmission electron microscope technique ;the expression of cyclooxygenase-2(COX-2) in the cell supernate was detected by the enzyme linked immunosorbent assay .Results The different concentrations of ATRA for treating A549 cells could produce the inhibiting effect on A 549 cells to some different degrees ,furthermore ,after 72 h ,the expression of COX-2 in cytoplasma among the various concentrations groups was significantly decreased ,which was positively correlated with the concentration ,the difference showing statistical significance (P< 0 .05);at the same time ,by detecting TRAIL expression level in the experimental group(1 × 10-5 mol/L ,1 × 10-4 mol/) ,the expression of TRAIL in the A549 cell supernate after ATRA treatment was increased .Conclusion ATRA has the significant anti-tumor effect on the lung adenocarcinoma cell line A549 with the concen-tration-time dependence;ATRA in lung cancer tissue may play its anti-tumor effect by inducing apoptosis ,which can provide the theoretical basis for the treatment of lung cancer .

Objective To investigate the effects of parecoxib pretreatment on the intrapulmonary shunt during one-lung ventilation in patients undergoing esophageal cancer resection. Methods Forty ASA Ⅰ or Ⅱ patients of both sexes, aged 25-64 yr,weighing 45-70 kg,with body height 156-178 cm,undergoing elective esophageal surgery, were randomly divided into 2 groups (n =20 each):normal saline group (group NS) and parecoxib group (group P).Parecoxib 40 mg (in normal saline 10 ml) was injected intravenously 30 min before anesthesia in group P,while the equal volume of normal saline was given instead of parecoxib in group NS.Anesthesia was induced with iv injection of propofol, fentanyl and rocuronium.Bronchial blocker was inserted after tracheal intubation and the correct position was confirmed by bronchoscopy.Anesthesia was maintained with iv infusion of propofol and remifentanil and intermittent iv boluses of atracurium.HR,MAP,SpO2 and mean airway pressure (Pmean)were determined at 5 min of two-lung ventilation,at 40 min of one-lung ventilation, and at 30 min after re-expansion of the collapsed lung (T0-2).Blood samples were taken simultaneously from jugular vein and radial artery for blood gas analysis.Intrapulmonary shunt (Qs/Qt) was calculated. Results There were no significant differences in hemodynamic parameters and Pmean between the two groups (P > 0.05).PaO2 was significantly lower, while Qs/Qt was significantly higher at T1,2 than at T0 in groups NS and P (P < 0.05).PaO2 was significantly higher, while Qs/Qt was significantly lower at T2 than at T1 in groups NS and P (P < 0.05).Qs/Qt was significantly lower at T1,2 and PaO2 was significantly higher at T2 in group P than in group NS (P < 0.05).Conclusion Parecoxib 40 mg injected intravenously at 30 min before anesthesia can reduce the intrapulmonary shunt during one lung ventilation in patients undergoing esophageal cancer resection.

Journal of Preventive Medicine 2021;33(12):1203-1208
Objective :
To investigate the status of occupational stress, burnout, and coping styles, and to explore the moderating effects of coping styles on the relationship between occupational stress and burnout among medical staff from one tertiary first-class hospital in Hubei Province, in order to provide the basis for mental health promotion of medical staff.
Methods:
From June to October in 2020, using stratified cluster sampling, doctors, nurses, and medical or pharmaceutical technicians on the ratio of 2∶2∶1 were selected from the tertiary first-class hospital. Chinese version of Burnout Questionnaire, Core Occupational Stress Scale (COSS) and Trait Coping Style Questionnaire were used to investigate the levels of burnout, occupational stress and coping styles. A linear stratified regression model was used to analyze the moderating effect of coping styles on the relationship between occupational stress and burnout.
Results:
Among 735 questionnaires issued, 679 valid ones were collected, with the response rate of 92.38%. The age of the respondents was ( 34.29±8.20 ) years old. There were 165 ( 24.30% ) males and 514 ( 75.70% ) females, including 241 ( 35.49% ) doctors, 358 ( 52.72% ) nurses and 80 (11.78%) medical or pharmaceutical technicians. The burnout score was 2.29±1.11 , and the positive rate of burnout was 44.33%; the COSS score was 47.32±8.31; the positive and negative coping style scores were 30.64±6.06 and 26.81±6.26, respectively. The linear stratified regression analysis suggested that the interactions between social support ( β=0.590, P<0.05 ), organization and reward ( β=0.523, P<0.05 ), and positive coping style were positively associated with burnout, and the interaction between organization and reward (β=-0.666, P<0.05) and negative coping style was negatively associated with burnout.
Conclusions
About 44.33% of medical staff investigated have burnout. Coping styles have a moderating effect on the relationship between occupational stress and burnout. Positive coping style helps to perceive social support and organizational support, to alleviate the adverse effects of occupational stress, and to reduce the risk of burnout.

Objective To evaluate the effects of oxycodone combined with incision infiltration with ropivacaine on postoperative outcomes in the patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Methods Eighty American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status Ⅰ or Ⅱ patients of both sexes, aged 33-64 yr,weighing 45-88 kg,scheduled for elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy under general anesthesia, were divided into 2 groups (n=40 each) using a random number table:patient-controlled intravenous analgesia group (group P) and oxycodone combined with incision infiltration group (group O).In group P,fentanyl 1-2 μg/kg was intravenously infused after cholecystectomy, and patient-controlled intravenous analgesia was performed with sufentanil at the end of surgery. In group O,oxycodone 0.05-0.10 mg/kg was intravenously injected after cholecystectomy, incision infiltration was performed with 0.5% ropivacaine before suturing, and visual analog scale score was maintained ≤ 3.The emergence time, time to first flatus, time to liquid diet, first ambulation time, length of hospital stay after operation and adverse reactions were recorded. Results Compared with group P,the time to first flatus, time to liquid diet, first ambulation time and length of hospital stay after operation were significantly shortened, the incidence of urinary retention and nausea and vomiting was decreased (P<0.05),and no significant change was found in the emergence time in group O (P>0.05).Conclusion Combination of oxycodone and incision infiltration with ropivacaine can promote postoperative outcomes in the patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy.
