[Objective] To compare and analyse the clinical effect of tiny incision blind-cut suck-erasion on unhairing and preserving armpit hair in bromhidrosis.[Method] Select 429 cases of 851 sides in our hospital, divide them into treatment group(blind-cut suck-erasion+unhairing) 308 cases with 609 sides, and control group(blind-cut suck-erasion+preserving armpit hair) 121 cases with 242 sides. Make statistics and compare their complications in recent and forward stages, also the recurrence and residual of peculiar smel after 1 year. [Result] For the treatment group, 38 sides had the recent compli-cation of hematoncus, 30 sides had partly skin necrosis, 12 had bad cut cure, 70 had early slight hardening and contracture skin; for the forward complica-tions: 27 sides had focal slight scar, 3 severe scar, 23 focal subcutaneous sac lump with infection, 3 peculiar smel residual and recurrence. To the control one, for the recent complications, 11 sides had hematoncus, 9 partly skin necrosis, 5 bad cut cure, 13 early slight hardening and contracture skin; for for-ward complications, 8 sides had focal slight scar, 1 severe scar, 3 focal subcutaneous sac lump with infection, 38 peculiar smel residual and recurrence. By comparison, on early slight hardening and contracture skin and focal subcutaneous sac lump with infection, the treatment group was higher than control one;other complications had no difference of statistical meaning;on radical cure rate, the treatment group was obviously more than control one, with dif-ference of statistical meaning. [Conclusion] The tiny cut blind-cut suck-erasion is definite in treating bromhidrosis, the operation removes subcutaneous apocrine sweat gland, meanwhile removes the hair fol icle and sebaceous gland complexus, the therapy is very thorough, with better cure effect, less recur-rence, without increasing complications.

Objective By using 18F-deoxyglucose (18F-FDG) positron emission computed tomography (PET-CT) to measure the brain glucose metabolism of patients with severe traumatic brain injury before and after hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) therapy,and to investigate the mechanisms of H BO treating patients with traumatic brain injury.Methods Twenty-six patients suffered form severe traumatic brain injury with stable vital signs within 2 weeks were randomly divided into the HBO group and the control group.The patients of both groups received routine clinical interventions (including neuroprotection,dehydration,reducing intracranial pressure,anti-infection and other symptomatic treatments).Patients of the HBO group received the basic treatment combined with HBO therapy one tine per day for 7 days per week.In early stage and 4 weeks after treatment,all patients were examined with PET-CT scanning and Glasgow coma scale (GCS),disability rating scale (DRS) at the same time.Results There was standard uptake value (SUV) of significant difference between affected and unaffected brain areas in two groups before treatment(P＜0.01),but no significant difference between two groups (P＞0.05).After 4-week of treatment,SUV of affected and unaffected brain areas of two groups improved,the damaged area of HBO group improved obviously and the SUV was much better than before treatment and the control group (P＜0.0l).The GCS and DRS scores of HBO group were also significantly better than that of control group (P＜0.05).Conclusion The 18F-FDG PET-CT examination showed that HBO therapy can significantly improve glucose metabolism function of the brain damaged area,promote the brain functional recovery and awakening,and improve the prognosis in patients with severe traumatic brain injury.

Objective To investigate the effects of lower limb training combined with hyperbaric oxygen on motor function in a paretic lower limb and on the ability in the activities of daily living (ADL) of hemiplegic stroke survivors. Methods A total of 297 hemiplegic stroke patients received routine interventions and then were randomly divided into 3 groups. The hyperbaric oxygen group accepted hyperbaric oxygen, the training group accepted lower limb training, and the treatment group accepted both hyperbaric oxygen and lower limb training. Evalnations were carried out pretreatment and 30 d post treatment to assess the function of the paretic lower limb and ADL ability with the Fugl-Meyer assessment ( FMA), a modified Barthel index (MBI) , Berg's balance scale (BBS) and the timed up and go test (TUGT). Results FMA, MBI, BBS and TUGT scores in all 3 groups improved significantly compared with pretreatment. On the 30th day post treatment, the scores in the treatment group were significantly better than in the other two groups. Conclusions Lower limb training combined with hyperbaric oxygen can significantly improve motor function in the paretic lower limbs of stroke patients and their ADL performance.

Objective To observe the effects of hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) on cerebral small vessel disease (CSVD) and on learning,memory and the expression of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) and acetylcholine (Ach) in the cerebral cortex and hippocampus.Methods Sixty healthy,male Wistar rats were studied.Allograft thrombosis particles 48 to 74 μm in diameter were injected into the rats' external carotid arteries to create a CSVD model.The rats were then divided randomly into a hyperbaric oxygen group,a nimotop group and a control group.The hyperbaric oxygen group rats were given hyperbaric oxygen therapy 12 hours after the modeling.The nimotop group rats were given nimodipine by intragastric perfusion 12h after the modeling.The rats in the control group had no special intervention.At 7,14 and 28 days after the modeling,any changes in learning and memory were assessed with a Morris water maze test.Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was used to detect the expression of BDNF in the cerebral cortex and of Ach in the hippocampus at 28 days.Results At both 14 and 28 days the average escape latency of the rats in the hyperbaric oxygen group was significantly shorter than those of the nimotop and control groups.The average platform crossing time had increased significantly more than in the nimotop and control groups.At both 14 and 28 days the escape latency and platform crossing times of the nimotop group were significantly better than in the control group.Ach content and BDNF content were significantly higher in the HBO group than in the nimotop and control groups.Conclusions Hyperbaric oxygen treatment can promote BDNF release in CSVD,which is helpful to protect and repair neural mitochondria,to maintain the cortex and hippocampal neurotransmitters on a stable level,and to improve learning and memory.Its effect is better than that of nimotop.

Purpose To study the expression of inhibitor of differentiation 2 (Id2) in Ewing sarcoma of bone as well as the correlation with cell cycle proteins. Methods The expression of Id2, c-Myc, Cyclin D1, p53, p16 and p27 in 45 cases of Ewing sarcoma were detected by immunohistochemical EnVision methods, the relationship between the expression of Id2 and clinicopathologic characteristics and the correlation with cell cycle proteins were analyzed. Results Total expression of Id2 was found in 88. 9% of Ewing sarcoma. Strong expression of Id2 was detected in 33. 3% cases. Higher frequencies of c-Myc and Cyclin D1 immunostaining were observed (66. 7% and 71. 1%, respectively), but lower frequencies of p53, p16 and p27 expression were present (20. 0%, 35. 6% and 28. 9%, respectively). Id2 overexpression displayed a negative relationship with p27 expression (P<0. 05). Among the follow-up of 24 cases, overexpression of Id2 was found more frequency in dead and metastases cases (41. 2%) when compared to that of progres-sion-free survival cases (14. 3%). Conclusions Id2 was extensively expressed in Ewing sarcoma of bone. Overexpression of Id2 and its correlation with p27 expression suggest that this is an important pathway involved in development of Ewing sarcoma. Moreover, Id2 overexpression may predict poor prognosis.

Purpose To investigate the diagnosis and differentail diagnosis of metastatic small cell carcinoma of bone in needle biopsy, especially for the differentail diagnosis with Ewing sarcoma of bone. Methods Clinicopathological informations of 11 cases of metastat-ic small cell carcinoma and 20 cases of Ewing sarcoma were collected, and markers for differentail diagnosis were detected in two groups by immunohistochemistry of EnVision. Results The positive rates of CD99 and FLI-1 were 27. 3% and 54. 5% in metastatic small cell carcinoma group, while the positive rate of CK was 15. 0% in Ewing sarcoma group. Patient′s age, single lesion, expression of CK, vimentin, CD99, FLI-1, CD56 were significantly different in two groups. Conclusions Metastatic small cell carcinoma and E-wing sarcoma share similar histopathologic features in needle biopsy, no single immunohistochemical marker can specifically distinguish small cell carcinoma from Ewing sarcouma. The correct diagnosis should comprehensive analyze clinicopathologic characters and a se-ries of immunohistochemical markers.

Objective To study the gene expression profiles of ovarian cancer by cDNA microarray,and preliminarily analyze the function of part of differential expression genes.Methods BiostarH-40s gene microarray containing 4 097 genes was used to analyze gene expression patterns in tissue samples from 5 cases of human ovarian serous cystadenocarinoma(cy5-dUTP present ) and 5 cases of normal ovarian tissues(cy3-dUTP present).Results 163 genes of differential expression were found in more than 4 cases of ovarian cancer,the expression of 66 genes increased(up-regulated),the expression of 97 genes decreased(down-regulated). 37 differential genes with difinite gene function classification were found including three protocogene and tumor suppressor genes,one cyclin protein gene,three cytoskeletal and movement protein genes,one DNA binding,transcription and transcription factors gene,two cell receptor genes,five immune-related protein genes,seven metabolism genes,two protein translation and synthesis genes,three growth-related genes and seven other types of genes.Conclusion Gene expression profiles of ovarian cancer can be detected by cDNA microarray,and differential expression genes and their gene function classification of ovarian cancer are found.

Zebrafish (Danio rerio), as a new vertebrate model organism, has been widely used in human disease research in recent years, especially in the study of human bone diseases.The zebrafish models show some advantages, such as expression of disease-related genes and application in pharmacodynamic screening and evaluation, etc.It is also of great practical significance for the traditional medicine, which has a characteristic efficacy in the treatment of bone diseases.This paper reviews the research and application of zebrafish in research on bone diseases such as osteoporosis, fracture, osteoarthritis, and so on, aiming to provide some inspiration for the future clinically relevant research.

A nutrition survey, covering a total of 4801 preschool children in 6 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, has been carried out. The objective was to determine the effects of various dietary patterns on the blood hemoglobin, free erythrocyte proporphyrin, and serum ferritin values. The results indicated a high prevalence of iron deficiency (average 51.9%). Iron deficiency anemia was detected in 16.4% of the children examined and the incidence rate was particularly high among infants at the age group of 6 months and one year, which was 28.7% and 22.9% respectively. The dietary patterns were different in the above geographic areas. The results of dietary survey revealed that a low incidence of iron deficiency was found in those children who consumed more animal food and protein.

ObjectiveTo investigate the role and action mechanism of Ganshuang granules in the protection against CCl4-induced chronic liver injury in mice via autophagy, and to provide a basis for its clinical application. MethodsWe established a chronic liver injury model in mice by intraperitoneal injection of CCl4, and a cell model of liver damage in cell line HL-7702 induced by CCl4 in vitro. The animals were divided into three groups, Ganshuang granule intervention group, normal control group, and CCl4 group without receiving Ganshuang granules. In addition, we exposed the cells to 3-methyladenine (3-MA), an autophagy inhibitor, and observed the effects of Ganshuang granules on cell apoptosis. Liver tissue injury was evaluated by HE staining; serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST) levels were determined by biochemical assays. Autophagy was assessed by immunofluorescence staining and Western blotting. Liver apoptosis was analyzed by flow cytometry and Annexin V/PI double staining. Comparisons between groups were performed using analysis of variance. ResultsHE staining showed that liver tissue injury was significantly milder in the Ganshuang granule intervention group than in the CCl4 group. Serum ALT and AST levels were significantly differences between Ganshuang granule intervention group, normal control group, and CCl4 group (F=1576、1335，P＜005). Both in vivo and in vitro tests showed that autophagy increased significantly in cells treated with Ganshuang granules than in cells exposed to CCl4 alone, while apoptosis was significantly reduced in the former. The administration of 3-MA weakened the protective effect of Ganshuang granules and increased apoptosis. Flow cytometry showed that apoptosises were significiantly differences between five groups (F=25637,P＜001). ConclusionGanshuang granules have protective effects against chronic liver injury by inhibiting apoptosis, possibly through enhanced autophagy.
