An α-amylase inhibitor (α-AI) was isolated from white kidney beans (Phaseolus vulgaris. L) by ethanol fractional precipitation, ion exchange chromatography and gel filtration column chromatography. It was a homogeneity glycoprotein demonstrated by SDS-PAGE and gel filtration on CL-6B. The glycoprotein contained 88.2% protein and was rich in aspartic acid, glutamic acid, leucine, threonine and serine. The carbohydrate moiety was consisted of Man, Glc, Gal and Xyl in a mole ratio of 2.42∶1.50∶1.52∶1.00. The glycan and the core protein backbone was connected by O-linkage as determined by β-elimination reaction. The continuous oral administration of the α-AI (150 mg·kg-1·d-1 ) for 7 days can lower fasting blood glucose and 300 mg·kg-1 ·d-1 α-AI for 7 days can improve the sugar tolerance on alloxan-dependent diabetic model rats. The result showed the α-AI obtained from white kidney beans had good hypoglycemic effect on alloxan induced diabetic rats and may have high potential pharmaceutical value as a regulative digestive-starch degradation in patients suffering from diabetes.

Objective:To summarize the morphological characteristics and clinical experience of pulmonary artery sling(PAS) combined with anomalous bronchial branching, and provide new considerations for surgically treating PAS.Methods:A retrospective review of surgical experience of all patients with anomalous bronchial branching from January 2012 to December 2018 at Shanghai Children's Medical Center was conducted. There are 4 types according to the morphology of anomalous bronchial branching: tracheal bronchus, bronchial trifurcation, bridging bronchus, tracheal bronchus combined with bronchial trifurcation. The proportion of patients with anomalous bronchial branching combined with PAS was counted. The rate of tracheoplasty for four types was determined. We measured the interbronchial and subcarinal/subpseudocarinal angles before and after tracheoplasty.Results:140 patients were included in our study. The tracheal diameter of 11(21%, 11/53) patients with tracheal bronchus and 4(9%, 4/44) patients with bronchial trifurcation was normal. Among these patients, 125 patients had congenital tracheal stenosis(CTS). 115 patients underwent tracheoplasty. The rate of tracheoplasty of bridging bronchus was higher than tracheal bronchus(100% vs. 60%, P=0.000). One-stage surgery was performed in 76(61%) patients who had PAS. The interbronchial and subcarinal/subpseudocarinal angles were significantly reduced postoperatively( P=0.000). Conclusion:It is difficult to explain merely with vascular compression in patients with PAS with CTS and anomalous bronchial branching. One-stage slide tracheoplasty is currently the optimal option.

Protein & Cell 2010;1(11):999-1010
Polo-like kinase 1 (Plk1) is a key regulator of cell division in eukaryotic cells. In this short review, we briefly summarized the well-established functions modulated by Plk1 during mitosis. Beyond mitosis, we focused mainly on the unexpected processes in which Plk1 emerges as a critical player, including microtubule dynamics, DNA replication, chromosome dynamics, p53 regulation, and recovery from the G2 DNA-damage checkpoint. Our discussion is mainly based on the critical substrates targeted by Plk1 during these cellular events and the functional significance associated with each phosphorylation event.

OBJECTIVETo compare graft patency in off-pump and conventional coronary artery bypass grafting by using the transit time flow meter in the treatment of triple vessel coronary artery disease.
METHODSBetween June 2000 and April 2001, 60 patients with triple vessel coronary artery disease underwent coronary artery bypass grafting. They were divided into two groups: off-pump and conventional coronary artery bypass. All completed grafts were tested intraoperatively using Transit Time Flow Measurement (TTFM). Preoperative and postoperative variables of the two groups were also compared.
RESULTSThere were no significant differences in sex, age, weight, acute or remote myocardial infarction, hypertension, diabetes and type of bypass grafts between the two groups. The number of bypass grafts and the assisted respiratory time of the off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting (OPCAB) group were significantly less than those of the conventional coronary artery bypass grafting (CCABG) group. The flow and pulsatile index (PI) of the left anterior descending artery bypass grafts and the right coronary artery bypass grafts were not significantly different between the OPCAB and CCABG groups. The flow of OM in the CCABG group with the multiple anastomosis site of sequential grafts was higher than that in the OPCAB group. Diffused narrow coronary artery bypass grafts in both groups had less flow.
CONCLUSIONNo significant differences in graft patency were observed in patients with triple vessel coronary artery disease who had undergone OPCAB or CCABG.

Chinese Journal of School Health 2020;41(2):235-238
Objective:
To explore the relationship between cyberbullying and depression in college students, and to provide a scientific basis for the prevention of cyberbullying.
Methods:
A total of 3 914 college students from 6 universities in Shanxi Province were selected as research objects. The students’ cyberbullying behavior scale and depression self-rating scale were used to investigate the students.
Results:
The overall reported rate of cyberbullying among college students was 17.4%. Boys who suffered from online verbal bullying and online fraud scored higher than girls. Students whose parents divorced scored higher than those whose parents did not divorce in all dimensions of cyber-bullying. There was a statistically significant difference in the overall scores of students with different degrees of education and time spent online( P <0.05). Depression was reported in 15.6% of participants. The depression scores of female students were higher than that of male students.College students whose parents were divorced had higher depression scores than those whose parents were not divorced. There were statistically significant differences in depression scores among college students with different fathers’ education levels and different time spent online every day( t / F =2.05, 6.64, 3.91 , 19.52, P <0.05). Pearson correlation analysis showed that online speech bullying, online fraud and identity concealment bullying were positively correlated with depression scores( r s =0.40, 0.36, 0.46, P <0.01). Multiple linear regression analysis showed that three forms of cyberbullying were risk factors for the increase of depression in college students( β =0.89, 0.38, 0.38, P <0.01).
Conclusion
Cyber-bullying is one of the risk factors for increasing the severity of depression among college students.Strengthening the management of Internet use, promotion college students’ interpersonal conununication and active cooperating between society, school and family are great significance to reduce the occurrence of cyberbullying.
