Analysis was conducted on the reason and countermeasures for problems such as un stable research direction in the medical law discipline construction, shortage of teachers and academic team, poor results of scientific research and unpractical personnel training.Strengthening the discipline construction of medical law, firstly we should attach great importance to it and unify the recognition, ensuring that the discipline of medical law can be dcvcloped healthily and within standard ; secondly we should strengthen the construction of discipline content and improve construction level of medical law; thirdly we should combine medicine with law, cultivating high-leveled talents.

In the present study, A fluorescent imaging-based high-throughput screening method was developed for identifying anti-migratory compounds with 96-well Transwell plates. The correlation, precision and stability of this method were examined and the incubation time of dye Hoechst 33342 in addition to migration time was optimized. In addition, The inhibitory activity of anti-cancer drug paclitaxel on tumor cell migration was assayed and an IC50 value of 0.717 micromol x L(-1) was obtained. Using this method, 24 components from Rhizoma Alismatis were screened and one component with anti-migration activity was found. These results show that the new proposed method with good precision, stability and linear range has the potential to assay the inhibitory activity of anticancer compounds.

Objective To establish a method used for quantitative determination of bufadienolides in human liver tissues by HPLC. Methods using solid phase extraction of human liver with Oasis (HLB car-tridge coupled with reserved phase HPLC and diode array detection. Results Recoveries obtained from spiked liver for the bufadienolides were better than 70% . The linearity was studied up to 1200ng/g and the detection limits of the method was 0.4ng for cinobufotalin and bufalin, 0.5ng for cinobufagin and resibufo-genin. Conclusion This method is fast and accurate. It is useful for forensic medicine detection.

A 56-year-old man with 1-year history of palpitation, heat intolerance and sweating, was diagnosed as thyrotropin (TSH) -secreting pituitary adenoma based on the symptoms of hypermetabolism, enlarged thyroid gland, inappropriately increased serum TSH concomitantly elevated plasma thyroid hormones and a pituitary tumor demonstrated on magnetic resonance imaging. Long-acting octreotide formulation was administered at a dose of 20 mg intramuscularly. Tumor volume shrinkage and improvement of thyroid function was achieved after a single drug injection; and the thyroid function returned to normal in 28 days. It is suggested that long-acting octreotide formulation might be used as a routine therapeutic approach prior to pituitary surgery, which may enhance the effectiveness of surgery and postoperative recovery.

Objective To evaluate the safety and effect of local resection of the duodenum for the treatment of gastrointestinal stromal tumors(GISTs). Methods In this study, 12 duodenal GIST cases in which tumors located more than 1.0 cm away from the major duodenal papilla, underwent simple local resection of the duodenum along with the tumors measuring at 4 cm in diameter or less. The clinical data were retrospectively analyzed. Results After simple local resection of the duodenum for GISTs, no stomal leak occurred and the margin was all negative. Pathologically tumors were all low risk grade. There was no recurrence during a follow-up of 9-38 months. Conclusions Local resection of the duodenum is safe and efficient in the treatment of duodenal GISTs should the tumors locat more than 1.0 cm away from the papilla.

Objective: To determine the inhibitory effects of maltitol-gum on Streptococcus mutans, Lactobacilli and Actinomyces viscosus in dental plaque. Methods: Thirty 13-15 years old children with DMFS>4 were divided into three groups, maltitol chewing gums group(A group), xylitol chewing gum group(B group) and blank gum base group (C group). The plaque samples were collected and colony forming units were counted. Results: The levels of three-species cariogenic pathogens in three groups were statistically down-regulated when compared with the baseline(P<0.001).Moreover, A group and B group resulted in a higher decrease of Streptococcus mutans levels compare with C group(P<0.05). The levels of Lactobacilli and Actinomyces viscosus were not statistically different between groups(P>0.05). Conclusion: Maltitol-gum can lead to a significant suppression on Streptococcus mutans levels in dental plaque, while the inhibitory effect of the maltitol-gum on Lactobacilli, Actinomyces viscosus is not obvious.

Objective To study effect of nasal tolerance with rat-derived 97-116 peptide of AChR α-subunit(Rα97-116(V108A))on the manifestation of muscle weakness and the immunity function of experimental autoimmune myasthenia gravis(EAMG).Methods Twenty-two EAMG model Lewis rats immunized thrice with Rα97-116(V108A)were divided randomly into tolerance group and control group. They were respectively immunized with Rα97-116(V108A)and PBS buffer solution for 10 days via nasal mucous. Then the body weight and Lennon score of two group Lewis rats were measured.Their serum anti-AChR antibodies were tested by ELISA,the expression levels of CD28,CTLA4,B7-1 and B7-2 were determined by flow cytometry. Results Compared with control group at different time points.the body weight of tolerance group rats(tolerance group(228.1±5.8)g,control group(215.0±16.2)g,t=2.395,P<0.05)increased,the mean clinical score of rats(tolerance group 1.55±0.44.control group 2.10±0.66,t=-2.20,P<0.05)decreased and the amount of serum anti-AChR antibody(tolerance group 0.97±0.20,control group 1.27±0.26,t=-2.857,P<0.05)decreased obviously.the amount of CD28,B7-1,B7-2,CTLA4(%)expressed on the surface of peripheral blood cells(tolerance group:27.35±7.05,4.73±0.58,2.71±0.35,1.72±0.44,control group:40.02±8.81,9.52±1.25,5.88±1.09,2.64±0.47)down-regulated markedly(t=3.479,10.861,8.755,4.403,all P<0.01).Conclusion Nasal mucous tolerance with Rα97-116(V108A)could ameliorate muscular weakness of EAMG rats while activates T cell and inhibits B cellular immunity.

Objective To summarize the clinical experience of fat granule injection for auto-trans-plantation in the treatment of concave temporal area. Methods The fat granule was extracted with injec-tor and injected into temporal area after washing and purging, but it might be necessany for patient to be injected extra 20 % fat autograft due to his absorptive effect. Results Satisfactory results were obtained in all patients. Transplantation was carried out one time in 139 cases, two times in 9 cases, and three times in 4 cases. 6 - 28 ml fat granule was injected in one site at each time. Conclusion Fat granule injec-tion for auto-transplantation is a safe and ideal method to treat concave temporal area.
