Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2013;20(9):1329-1331
Objective To explore the clinical application value of serum procalcitonin (PCT) detection in diagnosis of neonatal infection disease. Methods The serum PCT,CRP values, routine blood test, blood cultures of 50 children with suspected infection was detected at admission and five days after admission.According to the clinical manifestations and the test results,50 children were divided into the bacterial infection group (32 cases) of and non-bacterial infection group (18 cases),and the value of PCT,CRP,routine blood test, blood culture was compared. Results Of bacterial infection group at admission, the serum PCT values in 27 cases were more than or equal with 2μg/L,white blood cell (WBC) increased in 6 cases,CRP of 7 cases were positive, blood cultures (3d) of 4 cases were positive, and of non-bacterial infection group at admission, the serum PCT value in 2 cases were more than or equal with 2μg/L,WBC increased in 2 cases, blood cultures (3d) of 1 case was positive ; Of bacterial infection group 5 days after admission, the serum PCT value in 23 cases were more than or equal with 2μg/L,WBC increased in 15 cases,CRP of 6 cases were positive, blood culture (5d) of 9 case were positive, and of non-bacterial infection group 5 days after admission, the serum PCT value in 1 cases was more than or equal with 2μg/L,WBC increased in 3 cases,CRP of 4 cases were positive, blood culture (5d) of 1 case was positive. At admission the cases of WBC increasing,CRP positive, blood culture positive of the two groups had no statistically significant differences (x2 =0.50,0.19,0.62,all P > 0.05),but the cases of the PCT value which was more than or equal with 2μg/L had statistically significant differences between the two groups (x2 =25.30,P < 0.05).5 days after admission the cases of WBC increasing,PCT,blood culture positive of the two groups had no statistically significant differences (x2 =4.39,20.30,8.56,all P < 0.05),but the cases of the CRP value significant differences between the two groups (x2 =0.83,P > 0.05).Conclusion The detection of serum PCT can be used as an important index of diagnosis for early neonatal infections, and its sensitivity and specificity are better than, blood routine and blood culture.
3.Proteomic study of the effect of recombinant hFGF-10 adenovirus on HaCat cells.
Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2010;45(1):55-9
This study is to investigate the effect of recombinant hFGF-10 adenovirus on the proteome of HaCat cells, and to speculate further the possible mechanism of the effect of hFGF-10 on HaCat cells via differentially expressed proteins identified. Two-dimensional gel electrophoresis (2-DE) combined with tandem time-of-flight mass spectrometry was applied to identify the differentially expressed protein spots on the 2-DE maps of the whole-cell proteins from Ad infected and rAd-hFGF-10 infected HaCat cells. The mRNA and protein levels of the differentially expressed proteins were confirmed with semi-quantitative RT-PCR and Western blotting. The results showed that the 2-DE maps with high resolution were obtained, and four selected differentially expressed proteins involved in cell apoptosis, cytoskeleton regulation and protein degradation were identified with MALDI-TOF/TOF. The mRNA and protein levels of one of the differentially expressed proteins, VDAC2, were up-regulated in HaCat cells infected with the recombinant hFGF-10 adenovirus. The differentially expressed protein, VDAC2, may be related to the bioactivities of hFGF-10.
4.Analysis of bacteria culture results of pulmonary infection in patients with severe brain injury
Clinical Medicine of China 2010;26(5):467-469
Objective To investigate the characteristics of pathogenic bacteria and drug resistance and susceptible factors of pulmonary infection in patients with severe brain injury and to provide a guideline for the prevention and control of infection. Methods Bacteria culture results combined with clinical data of pulmonary infection in patients with severe brain injury were analyzed retrospectively in our hospital from Jan.2004 to Dec.2008.Results The patients with severe brain injury were often complicated by pulmonary infection.Gramnegative bacilli were main pathogenic bacteria leading to pulmonary infection ( 74.8% ),including pseudomonas aeruginosa ( 21.0% ),Escherichia coli ( 16.5% ),baumanii ( 13.6% ),pneumobacillus ( 7.7% ),enterobacter cloacae (6.3% ) and others.Thirty-nine Gram-positive bacilli were observed including Staphylococcus anreus, coagulase negative staphylococcus, enterococcus and others. There were 21 fungus infection observed. Conclusions Overall and systematically monitoring the condition of pathogenic bacteria distribution and drug resistance of pulmonary infection in patients with severe brain injury have important significance to select antibiotics and effectively prevent and control pulmonary infection.

Drug Evaluation Research 2017;40(6):848-850,873
Objective To discuss the efficacy ofcimetidine combined with acyclovir in treatment of children with varicella. Methods 80 cases ofvaricella were randomly divided into two groups. The observation group (40 cases) was treated with cimetidine combined with acyclovir treatment. The control group (40 cases) was given the acyclovir.Observe and record the two groups of children with clinical efficacy, fever time, rash scab, itching disappeared time after treatment, before and after treatment during the HAMA score and the treatment of adverse reactions. The clinical curative effect of cimetidine combined with acyclovir in treatment of children with varicella was evaluated. Results The observation group of total effective rate was 87.5%.The control group of total effective rate was 65%.The total effective rate of observation group was higher than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05).After treatment, the fever time, skin rash, scab time and pruritus disappeared in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05).Before treatment, there was no statistical difference in HAMA scores between the two groups. After treatment, the scores of HAMA in the two groups were significantly lower than those in the same group before and after treatment (P < 0.05),and the treatment group was significantly lower than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in adverse reactions between the two groups during the treatment. Conclusion Cimetidine combined with acyclovir have a good therapeutic effect on varicella. They can rapidly improve the clinical symptoms of pediatric varicella, reduce anxiety with high safety. It is worthy of clinical use.
7.The View of Law in Replicating Medical Records
Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2003;0(04):-
The author in this text discusses the right of replicating medical records from the angle of law,and puts forward his own viewpoint, that is for the objective medical records, patients can copy them in any time, but for the subjective ones,it just depends on the cases. Generally speaking patients don't have the copy right about them, but when medical treatment trouble occurs, the patients should have the copy right to copy the sealed and stored medical records.

9.Epstein-Barr virus and inflammatory bowel disease
Journal of Chinese Physician 2016;18(9):1281-1284
Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV) is the first human virus related to oncogenesis.EBV infection is associated with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) with unknown causality. The prevalence of EBV in intestinal tissue from patients with IBD is significantly higher and related to the exacerbation of the disease and refractory IBD.Immunosuppressive therapy has improved outcomes associated with IBD.However,it is also associated with an increased risk of opportunistic infection, and lymphoproliferative disorders (LDs) maybe due to EBV infection. Here we review our current understanding of the pathogenesis of EBV infection in colonic mucosal inflammation,EBV-induced disease exacerbation, lymphomagenesis in IBD,and clinical approaches therefrom.
