Objective To investigate the changes of cardiopulmonary function of patients with spinal cord injury(SCI) in different lesion levels in exercies testing.Methods 15 SCI patients were divided into the high SCI level group(n=8) and low SCI level group(n=7),and all cases exercised on treadmill.The cardiorespiratory indexes of all patients were tested.Results The cardiopulmonary function of the low SCI level group were better than the high SCI level group(P<0.05～0.01).Conclusion The higher the lesion level is,the weaker the cardiopulmonary function is.

Objective To assess the value of dobutamine stress echocardiography (DSE) in predicting myocardial viability by comparing with single photon emission computed tomography(SPECT).Methods Taking improvement of ventricular wall motion as a standard,fifteen patients undergone percutaneous coronary artery intervention(PCI) were detected by DSE and SPECT respectively,comparing their accuracy in predicting myocardial viability.Results By DSE, difference of the sensitivity and negative forecasting value was remarkable between peak dose stage and low dose stage,comparing with DSE,SPECT had the highest sensitivity and the lowest distinctivity.Conclusions The two techniques have their own advantages and disadvantages in predicting myocardial viability,but DSE is more practical.

Objective To study the clinical application s of intravenous myocardial contrast echocardiography (IMCE) in assessing myocardial reperfusion in acute myocardial infarction (AMI) using intravenously infused Levovist. Methods IMCE was performed in 13 AMI patients before and after thrombolytic therapy. The power Doppler signals of the myocardial segments were analyzed and the time-amplitude curves were plotted during Levovist infusion and incremental triggering. The maximal amplitude score (A), the mean ascending slope of the curve(?) and the product of A?? were measured. All patients were followed up for 3 months. Objective To investigate the feasibility of acute myocardial infarction(AMI)treated with transplantation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs).Methods Fifty female Wistar rats were randomly divided into the transplant group and control group with 25 animals in each group.The AMI animal model was made by liquid nitrogen freezing.Rat MSCs cultured and induced repeatedly was prepared for transplantation and injected into the infarcted parts of the transplant group.The same volume of DMEM solution was injected into the infarcted parts of the control group.Echocardiography was applied one day preoperation,and one week and four weeks postoperation to evaluate cardiac function.The animals of the transplanted group were executed in the fourth week after operation and the tissues of transplant part were examined by BrdU immunofluorescent stain.Results Some transplant cells expressed the cardiac-specific proteins,α-actin and troponin T.The cardiac function of the transplant group had better than that of the control group(P>0.05)in the fourth week postoperation.The BrdU-labeled cells were found in the histological sections of the transplant parts.Conclusion Rat MSCs cultured generation by generation and repeatedly induced by 5-aza in vitro can differentiate into cardiomyocyte-like cells,which if transplanted into the rat infarcted cardiac muscles will survive and help to improve the host's cardiac function.

Objective To study medical fear and its influencing factors in hospitalized school-age children in Lanzhou area.Methods Children's Medical Fear Scale was used to investigate 110 cases of hospitalized school-age children,and the investigation result underwent analysis.Results The total score of children's medical fears was (50.43±7.34),the three items with the highest score among 30 items were surgery,death,being deprived of education,homework delay,surgery and death tied for first.Conclusions Medical fear of school-age children was related with age and gender,female was significantly higher than that of male.No relationship with the family education environment,duration of illness,area of residence.

Objective To investigate the characteristics of dysplasia in myeledysplastic syndrome (MDS). Methods 716 samples of adult patients with abnormal blood routine and unelear cause were collected between July 04, 2003 and March 14, 2007. Based on the gold diagnostic standard of WHO MDS classification, all eases were detected on cytomorphology, cytochemical stain, bone marrow pathological assay,cytogenetics, flow eytometry et al. The cytological study of bone marrow on some abnormal hematopaietie cells has a diagnostic value to determine clonal or non-clonal diseases and assess sensitivity and specificity. Results in the complicated various dysplasia of hematopeiefic ceils, the following characteristics can be the main basis of cytomorphological diagnosis: one of granular Auer bodies, micronuclens (MN), or nuclear budding, erythroid nuclear budding, megakaryocytes presented in peripheral blood, myeloblast or prorubricyte exhibited in peripheral blood, ringed sideroblasts>1%. The subordinate basis of cytomorphological diagnosis development of nuclei, ring-shaped nuclei, and aggregation of nuclear chromafin, erythroid multi-nuclei, odd nucleus, mother-daughter nucleus, nuclear fragmentation, vacuole, anisoeytosis and mieromegakaryocytes.Conclusion Cytomorphologic assay is the base for the diagnosis of MDS, however, it presents certain limit,especially when eytomnrphoiogical change does not possess specificity for early MDS. Hereby, it requires to combine other deteetion methods.

Objective To analyze the comparability of potassium results detected by blood-gas analyzer and dry chemical analy-zer .Methods Dry chemical detection system was used as comparison method (X) ,and blood gas analyzer systems was used as the experimental method (Y ) .Arterial blood samples collected from ICU newborns were detected respectively by the two methods .If SE of medical decision level was less than or equal to 1/2 TEa decided by CLIA′88 ,the results was acceptable .Results There was a linear correlation in potassium concentrations of the two detection systems(r=0 .976 ,P<0 .01) .But among three medical decision levels ,the SE of the two detection systems only acceptable at 3 .0 mmol/L .Conclusion The potassium concentration of blood gas analyzer is lower than that of dry chemistry analyzer .The potassium concentration of dry chemistry analyzer should be taken as a reference to diagnose and clinical treatment .
