Objectives:To investigate appropriate approach of testing the interval feature of alternative answers in questionnaires. Methods:We calculated the total scores of the items within the same domain excluding the item that was under test, and then, identified the distances between the scores of the population who chose the different alternative answers of the test item. The short form 36 was used in the test. We surveyed a total of 2250 residents, with 2246 included in the final analysis. Results:This approach could find the deviated item in the questionnaire. The results of testing of the interval feature of alternative answers were consistent with the original design; however, the clustered items must have good construct validity. Conclusion:Using the items clustered in one domain to test the interval feature of alternative answers may possibly be an available simple approach, but we need more mathematics evidence to prove this assumption.

Currently, the incidence of breast cancer ranks first at home and abroad of female cancer and the age of onset tends to be younger.Due to the local changes of the tumor residual cavity after the breast conserving surgery,we can't accurately delineate the irradiation range using traditional breast conserving surgery combined with external irradiation of whole breast and tumor bed plus the amount, and the course of treatment is longer.Intra-operative radiation therapy (IORT) can avoid the impact of respiratory motion and postural changes.Meanwhile,it can immediately irradiate the tumor bed intraoperative accurately. For patients,IORT can shorten the cycle of radiotherapy and reduce irradiation on the skin and subcutaneous tissue. So IORT is convenient, easy to be accepted, and it has relatively few complications, good cosmetic results and so on.In recent years, more and more Cancer Center choose breast conserving surgery combined with IORT for the treatment of early stage breast cancer and do researches to the indications, methods, dosage, efficacy and prognosis of IORT.

Objective To investigate the effects of antisense oligodeoxynucleotide c-myc (c-myc ASODN) on the growth of rabbit lens epithelial cells (LECs) induced by galactose. Methods Based on the translation initiation region of the second extron of c-myc gene, oligonucleotides were synthesized and modified with phosphorothioate. Lens epithelial cells were treated with galactose and c-myc ASODN. The effects of c-myc ASODN on the growth of LECs, cultured in high concentration of galactose, were observed by cytometry and MTT. Results The results demonstrated that c-myc ASODN at the doses of 2.5-10.0 ?mol/L inhibited the growth of LECs induced by galactose in a dose-dependent manner. Conclusion These results indicate that c-myc ASODN can inhibit the growth of LEC induced by galactose.

Objective To determine the effect of calmodulin-dependent kinase Ⅱ (CaMK Ⅱ ) -ryanodinereceptor pathway signaling in rabbits with left ventricular bypertrophy (LVH) and triggered ventricular arrhythmia. Methods Forty New Zealand rabbits were randomized into four groups ( n =10 per group):the sham operation group,LVH group,KN-93 (CaMKⅡ inhibitor) group (LVH + KN-93),and the ryanodinegroup ( LVH + ryanodine).Rabbits in the LVH,KN-93,and ryanodinegroups were used to establish a left ventricular hypertrophy model by the coarctation of the abdominal aorta, while the rabbits in the sham operation group did not have the coarctation. After eight weeks, action potentials (APs) were recorded simultaneously in the endocardium and epicardium, and transmural electrocardiogram (ECG) was also recorded in the wedge shaped models of rabbits' left ventricular myocardium.Drugs were administered to animals in the KN-93 and ryanodinegroups respectively, and the frequency of triggered APs and ventricular tachycardia were recorded after isoprenaline ( 1 μmol/L),and high-frequency electrical stimulation were given to rabbits. Results The incidences (animals/group) of triggered APs were:sham,0/10 ; LVH,10/10; KN-93,4/10; and ryanodine,1/10.The incidences of ventricular tachycardia induced were 0/10,9/10,3/10,and 1/10,respectively.The incidences of triggered ventricular arrhythmias in the KN-93 group and ryanodine groups tachycardia or ventricular fibrillation were 0/10,7/10,2/10,and 1/10,respectively.The incidences of triggered ventricular arrhythmias in the KN-93 group and ryanodine groups were much lower than that in the LVH group (P < 0.05).Conclusions KN-93 and ryanodinecan effectively reduce the occurrence of triggered ventricular arrhythmia in rabbits with LVH.The CaMK Ⅱ-ryanodine signaling pathway can be used as a novel target site of treating ventricular arrhythmia.
