Objective:To investigate the cognitive status of socialist core value among medical students, and to provide reference for the core value education in medical colleges and universities. Methods: 1024 medical students were selected with random cluster sampling method, and the socialist core value was investigated using self-designed questionnaire. Results:It was shown that 69 percent of medical students recognized the importance of socialist core values, but the contents had not been mastered. Social atmosphere, medical student's own short-coming and school education were all the factors leading to the weakness of socialist core values. Conclusion:It is quite necessary to cultivate medical students′socialist core values. Class, school, and society should play the main role to guide the medical students to establish the correct socialist core value.

Objective To investigate the effect of leucine-rich-repeat-containing G-protein-coupled receptor 5 (LGR5 )on the proliferation and drug resistance of HeLa cells and its possible mechanism.Methods LGR5 expression was interfered using shRNA,and LGR5 knockdown HeLa cells were constructed.The effect of LGR5 on the proliferation and drug resistance of HeLa cell was evaluated by cell count,clone formation and MTT;the expressions of LGR5 and β-catenin in HeLa cells were detected by Western blot method.Results LGR5 knockdown HeLa cell line was successfully constructed;the cell growth rate and clone formation rate in shLGR5 group were markedly decreased compared to those in shCon group (P<0 .01 ).Drug resistance of HeLa to cisplatin differed significantly between shLGR5 group and shCon group (P<0.01 ).Moreover,the LGR5 knockdown inhibited the expression ofβ-catenin in HeLa cells.Conclusion LGR5 plays an important role in cell proliferation and drug resistance of HeLa cells,and its mechanism is related to Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway.

Objective:To investigate the medical students' cognition of ethical issues in assisted reproductive technology (ART) and discuss the importance of ethical education in medical colleges and universities.Methods:A questionnaire survey about the ethical cognition of assisted reproductive technology was conducted among 632 medical students.The questionnaire included the donation and management of gametes and embryos,and offspring problems.Results:Medical students agreed with most of the current ART-related laws and regulations.however,44.8％ of medical students considered that criteria of donating eggs should be relaxed,such as allowing women who do not receive ART treatment be paid for eggs.In addition,a total of 39.0％ of medical students supported the legalization of surrogacy technology in china.Conclusion:Medical students exists a certain misunderstanding in egg donation and surrogacy technology.We should give more training to medical students in ethical knowledge.In addition,our country can supplement and perfect the current laws and regulations to a certain extent.

Objective To study the effect of reducing no-reflow after PCI treatment by early using Tirofiban and suction catheter in AMI patients .Methods 76 cases of patients were divided into group A (38 cases) and group B(38 cases) .The group A began to use Tirofiban with suction catheter to aspiration after coronary guidewire entering ,the suction were used in group B when the thrombus burden became exacerbation after balloon dilation .In addition ,chosen 38 cases of AMI patients treated with Tirofiban af-ter balloon dilation as group C .The influence of different treatment options to no-reflow and slow blood flow ,cardiovascular adverse events and the incidence of bleeding were observed .Results Group A compared with other two groups ,the no-reflow and slow flow rate had statistically significant differences (P< 0 .05) ,but there was no statistically significant differencebetween group B and group C(P>0 .05) .After three different surgical treatments ,the incidence of bleeding complications had no significant difference (P>0 .05 .The occurrence of adverse cardiovascular events had statistically significant between A group and C (P<0 .05) ,but there was no statistically significant difference between group B and group C (P<0 .05) .Conclusion Three kinds of treatment all have certain effect to reduce no-reflow in emergency PCI of AMI ,but early use of tirofiban with suction catheter in treatment of emergen-cy treatment has great clinical significance to reduce no-reflow .This study provides an effective treatment plan to reduce no-reflow in PCI for AMI .

AIM: To investigate the role of D1 and D3 dopamine receptor on MAPK signal transduction and c-fos gene expression after acute cocaine treatment. METHODS: Activations of extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK), the c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK), p38 activation and expression of c-fos in wild type and D1 and D3 receptor mutant mice after acute cocaine treatment were checked by Western blotting. RESULTS: ERK activation and c-fos induction was enhanced in D3 mutant mice and abolished in D1 mutant mice by acute cocaine treatment, while p38 and JNK activation was not obviously modulated by the D1 and D3 receptors by acute cocaine treatment. Meanwhile, c-fos induction was inhibited when SL327, a specific MEK inhibitor, was injected before cocaine treatment. CONCLUSION: D1 and D3 receptors play opposite roles in the regulation of ERK activation and c-fos gene expression after acute cocaine treatment. The expression of c-fos gene depends on ERK signal pathway after acute cocaine treatment.

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the modified rhytidectomy incision in superficial parotidectomy. METHOD: Thirty-five patients with superficial parotid tumor were included in this study. A modified rhytidectomy incision often used in facial plastic surgery was used for superficial parotidectomy and subtotal superficial parotidectomy with preservation of facial nerve and great auricular nerve. The follow-up study included the exposed region, the cosmetic effect of this approach and the rate of complication. RESULT: All patients healed without salivary fistula, and were satisfied with this modified approach. Temporary paralysis of the marginal mandibular branch of facial nerve were found in five patients, and six patients felt insensible around earlobe after operation. They all recovered in 1 to 3 months after surgery, no recurrence was happened during follow-up in 36 to 60 months (median follow-up period was 48 months). CONCLUSION The modified rhytidectomy incision provided good exposure, had less complication and better cosmetic outcome.

In present paper, research achievements of post-harvest handling concerning decorticating, boiling, sul-fur-fumigation, drying and sterilizing as well as quality control of Radix Paeoniae Alba were reviewed. Major prob-lems in the post-harvest handling and quality evaluation of Radix Paeoniae Alba were discussed. Strategies for im-provement in post-harvest handling and quality control were proposed, so that the safety and quality consistency can be assured in the medicinal application of Radix Paeoniae Alba.

Objective To investigate the clinical data of a patient with IgG4-related disease involving the trachea and paratracheal soft tissue and review the literature so as to improve the understanding level of the disorder.Methods To analyze the clinical manifestation,laboratory examination,imaging,histopathology,treatment and prognosis of a patient with IgG4-related disease trachea and paratracheal soft tissue involved,who was admitted to the Department of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine at Beijing Chaoyang Hospital.The relevant literatures were reviewed.Results A 18-year-old female was admitted with chief complaint of cough,dyspnea,and neck mass.Neck CT suggested that tracheal stenosis was caused by surrounded soft tissue.Paratracheal mass biopsy showed dense collagen fibers with infiltration of many lymphocytes and plasma cells.Immunohistochemical stain found that IgG4-positive plasma cells were ＞ 50/high power field (HPF) and a ratio of IgG4/IgG positive cells was over 40％.The level of serum IgG4 was significantly increased (2 930 mg/L).She was diagnosed as IgG4-related disease.The patient was treated with 80 mg intravenous methylprednisolone per day for three days,then prednisone 40 mg daily oral.Her dyspnea was significantly relieved.One month later,CT scan showed that the cervical tracheal stenosis was significantly improved.We identified 20 cases of IgG4-related disease involving the trachea and paratracheal soft tissue from databases,in which only 1 case was similar as this patient.The other 19 cases were of extratracheal involvement.Elevated serum IgG4 was detected in 11/12 patients.Most patients were treated with glucocorticoid,some combined with immunosuppressive agents and rituximab.The clinical outcome was good.Conclusion IgG4-related disease involving the trachea and paratracheal soft tissue is a rare condition.Serum IgG4 level and histopathology should be considered for diagnosis.Glucocorticoid is effective.

OBJECTIVE:To prepare Ferulic acid/K/β-CD/metal organic framework (FA/K/β-CD/MOF) inclusion,and to opti-mize its preparation technology. METHODS:K/β-CD/MOF was synthesized by solvothermal method as inclusion material. Using FA as main component,FA/K/β-CD/MOF was prepared by grinding method. The preparation technology was optimized by orthogo-nal test using mole ratio of main component-inclusion material,grinding time,dropping time and inclusion temperature as factors, inclusion rate as index. Prepared FA/K/β-CD/MOF was indentified by IR spectrum and DSC,and inclusion rate and dissolution rate were determined. RESULTS:Optimized preparation technology was as follows as mole ratio of main main component to inclusion material 3∶1,dropping time 60 min,inclusion temperature 40 ℃,inclusion time 60 min. Prepared FA/K/β-CD-MOF had already formed a new kind of phase,and its average inclusion rate was(18.0±1.6)%(RSD=0.9%,n=6);its solubility was 15 times as much as FA(9.582 mg/ml vs. 0.647 mg/ml). CONCLUSIONS:FA/K/β-CD/MOF is prepared successfully;and the preparation tech-nology is reasonable and feasible.
