In next several decades, medical costs are going to increase significantly with the obvious increase of ageing population. The development trend of medical cost was predicted on the basis of over-cost growth model. The over-cost growth and the influencing factors of population and economics were first used to construct the time series model, then Monte Carlo approach was used in random simulation and finally the prediction result of medical cost in China was received.

Objective To investigate the effects and mechanisms of inositol hexaphosphate on diffe-rentiation of HT-29 human colon carcinoma cell line. Method Cells were exposed to various concentrations (control,1.8 mmol/L,3.3 mmol/L) of IP6 for different time (1d,3d,5d). Its effects on the cells were evaluated by detecting follow indices:(1) Observing ultrastructure of HT-29 cells by transmission electron microscopy. (2) Detecting alkaline phosphate (ALP) activity to evaluate cell differentiation. (3) Expression of c-Myc mRNA was determined by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). (4) Immunocytochemical stain was used to detect expression of Rb protein. Results (1) After having been treated at 3.3mmol/L concentration, the cell structure changed, and appeared tendency of differentiation, such as karyopyknosis, abundant cellular organs and microvillus increase. (2) The activity of alkaline phosphate increased along with the concentration and time. (3) RT-PCR showed that different concentrations of IP6 decreased the expression of c-Myc mRNA. (4) The immunocytochemical stain showed that different concentrations of IP6 increased expression of Rb protein. Conclusion IP6 can induce differentiation of HT-29 cell by augmenting expression of Rb,decreasing expression of c-Myc and blocking cell cycle.

It has been shown by TLC that American Ginseng contains substatial amount of pseudoginsenoside F11,while Ginseng is devoid of such content .Therefore, it offered a very convennient and effective method to distinguish Ginseng from American ginseng (root, stem, leaf and their saponin extracts).

Objective To study the mechanism of Hezhong Jiangni Formnla(HJF) in protecting esophageal mucosa. Methods Rat models of reflux esophagitis were established by cardioplasty, pyloric ligation and roux-Y type gastrojejunostomy to evaluate the degree of esophageal mucosa injury. After treatment of HJF,the gastric juice was collected with the method of pyloric ligation to determine its volume and acidity and the activity of pepsin. The gastrointestinal motility was observed after oral use of charcoal powder. The level of malondialydehyde(MDA)in esophageal mucosa was measured to evaluate the esophageal antioxidative ability. Results HJF relieved the injury of esophageal mucosa dose-dependently;it had no obvious influence on the volume and acidity of gastric juice and the activity of pepsin, but it could obviously improve the gastrointestinal motility.MDA level of esophageal mucosa in the model group was increased significantly as compared with the control group.Pretreatment with HJF could greatly inhibited the formation of MDA.Conclusion HJF has protective effect on esophageal mucosa, which may be related to the improvement of gastrointestinal motility and its antioxidant action.

Aim Toanalyzethekeyqualityandestablishmeth-ods for essential quality control of human recombinant ASPP2 adenovirus. Methods TheviralstructuralgeneofE2Bandtar-get gene of ASPP2 were identified by PCR;The number of virus particles was measured by UV-SDS methods;Infectious titer was determined by TCID50 assay;Target protein of ASPP2 was ob-served by Western blot assay; The biological effects of recombi-nant adenovirus on liver cancer cells were evaluated by MTT as-say;A549 cells were used to check replication of the competent adenovirus(RCA)by the observation of the cytopathic effect. Results PCRanalysisofE2BandASPP2wasinconsistent with theoretical values;Particle numbers of virus were 5. 6 × 1012 VP/mL,infectious titer was 2 ×1011 IU/mL and specific activity was 3. 5%;ASPP2 protein expression could be detected when cells were infected with virus for 24 h;Growth inhibition of liver cancer cells could be found by adding recombinant ASPP 2 adenovirus; The level of RCA was less than 1 RCA/3. 0 ×1010 VP,in line with the standards of China Food and Drug Adminis-tration(SFDA).Conclusion Thequalitycontrolmethodswere established aiming at key characters of human recombinant AS-PP2 adenovirus, which may provide foundations for its quality standard and future applications.

AIM: To explore the relationship between berberine content of Banxiaxiexin Decoction in rat serum and gastric motility. METHODS:Berberine content of Banxiaxiexin Decoction was determined by HPLC; Gastric residue was observed in all the rats with a marker of dextran blue 2000 to determine the capacity of gastric evacuation. RESULTS: Banxiaxiexin Decoction markly promoted gastric evacuation ( P

AIM: To investigate the contractile effect of berberine on antral smooth muscle cells in rat stomach. METHODS: Smooth muscle cells were isolated from the antrum of the SD rat stomach. Different doses of berberine were added into cell suspension. Contractibility of smooth muscle cells were measured by micrometry. RESULTS: Compared with the control group the length of the treated cells(0.5g?L -1 ,1g?L -1 ) was significantly short( P

Objective To study the effect of psychological intervention combined with the analysis of Budesonide and Formoterol Fumarate Powder for Inhalation in treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Methods 100 patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease treated in our hospital from February 2015 to March 2016 were selected and randomly divided into the control group and the experimental group, with 50 patients in each group. The control group was treated with the Budesonide and Formoterol Fumarate Powder for Inhalation treatment, the experimental group on the basis of psychological intervention on the mental status of patients and patients, strengthen communication and exchanges, increase confidence in the treatment and the treatment compliance of patients. Results After treatment, the SGRQ score of the experimental group was (57.33±16.81), and the score of the control group was (43.86±12.68) points, with statistical difference (P<0.05). The scores of depression and anxiety in the experimental group were significantly better than those in the control group, with statistical difference(P<0.05). Conclusion Budesonide and Formoterol Fumarate Powder for Inhalation combined with mental intervention in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease can significantly improve the patients, improve the quality of life, help patients recover as soon as possible, has clinical significance.

Objective To investigate the distribution of complications and the relationship with neurologic subtype and gross motor function in preterm infants with cerebral palsy (CP). Methods The type, grade of Gross Motor Function Classification System (GMFCS), intelligence, speech, ophthalmologic consultation, brainstem auditory evoked potential and electroencephalogram of 135 preterm infants with CP were reviewed. Results There were 284 complications in total, (2.10±1.33) per child, and was significantly different among various types of CP (F=5.50, P<0.001). The incidence of mental retardation and speech disorder was significant different among various types (P<0.05). The incidence of mental retardation, speech disorder, visual impairment and epilepsy increased significantly (P<0.05) in spastic quadriplegia infants, compared with those with diplegia and hemiplegia. The incidence of mental retardation, speech disorder, visual impairment and musculoskeletal disorder was significantly different (P<0.05) among various grades of GMFCS. The frequency of complications was more in children unable to walk (GMFCS Ⅳ~Ⅴ) than able to walk (GMFCS Ⅰ~Ⅲ) for children over 2 years old (t=70.05, P<0.001). Conclusion The incidence of mental retardation, speech disorder, visual and hearing impairment, secondary musculoskeletal disorder and the multiple disorders are related with neurologic subtype and/or the grade of GMFCS.
