1.A study of the relation between cAMP in aqueous humor and the intraocular pressure after topical epinephrin
Ophthalmology in China 1993;0(01):-
The relation between the cAMP content of the aqueous humor and the intraocular pressure after to- pical epinephrin was studied by radioimmunoassay. Two hours after instillation of epinephrin, the aque- ous cAMP rose from 13.54?5.81 pmol/ml to 39.05 ?4.37 pmol/ml,while the IOP and the rate of the aqueous flow decreased by 0.43kpa and 0.76?l/min, and the facility of outflow increased by 0.23?l/min/ kpa. These results revealed that the IOP-lowering effect of epinephrin was mediated by cAMP.
2.Prehospital thrombolysis in acute myocardia infarction:a meta-analysis
Chinese Journal of Emergency Medicine 2010;19(8):811-816
Objective A meta-analysis of clinical trials of prehospital thrombolysis versus in-hospital thrombolysis or PCI for acute myocardia infarction (AMI). Method We collected the literature on prehospital thrombolysis for AMI published at home and abroad from January 1989 to April 2009. Recanalization rate of infarct-related arter, complication incidence and mortality ( < 30 d) were regarded as result indicators. Software RevMan 4.2.8 was used to process meta-analysis. Results There were only 27 literatures selected. Prehospital thrombolysis was associated with higher recanalization rate of infarct-related arter[OR 2.67,95%CI(1.86 ~ 3.85);P <0.01] and lower mortality ( < 30 d ) [OR 0.71,95%CI(0.64 ~ 0.78); P < 0.01] than in-hospital thrombolysis. There was no significant difference in complications between them. Compared with PCI, prehospital thrombolysis was associated with higher complication incidence [OR 2.91,95% CI ( 1.26 ~ 3.80); P = O.005]. There was no significant statistical difference of mortality ( <30 d ),but the sensitivity analysis was not good. Conchusions The effect and prognosis of prehospital thrombolytic are superior to that of in-hospital thrombolysis, and the same with PCI,but prehospital thrombolytic has higher incidences of complications, and the sensitivity is not good.

Objective To investigate the feasibility of repairing spinal tracts with peripheral nerve graft combing neurotrophic factors in rats following complete spinal cord transection. Methods One hundred and twenty-one male Wistar Rats were transection at T9 level of spinal cord, and randomly divided into five groups. Group A with spinal cord transection was underwent acidic fibroblast growth factor (aFGF) treatment and peripheral nerve grafts (n=25); Group B: spinal cord transection was underwent aFGF treatment only (n=25); Group C: spinal cord transection was underwent peripheral nerve grafts only (n=25); Group D: spinal cord transaction only (n=25); and Group E: sham control (laminectomy only, n=21). The locomotor behavior of all rats was analyzed by the BBB open field locomotor test over the six months of survival time. Motor evoked potentials (MEP) were used to evaluate axon growth across the damage site. Biotinylated Dextran Amine (BDA) and retrograde tracing with fluorogold were used to evaluate the presence of axons through the damage site after treatment. Results The presence of anterograde BDA labeling of corticospinal tract axons at the graft site and fluorogold retrograde labeling of neuron populations was found in motor cortex and in red nucleus, reticulospinal nuclei, raphe nuclei, and vestibular nuclei in Group A. The average latency and amplitude of MEP were improved significantly in Group C. The mean of BBB scores showed significant improvement in Group A. Statistical analysis indicated that Group A had significant improvement compared to Group BC and D at 6 months post-surgery (P

Objective To evaluate the pharmacokinetics of ropivacaine following lumbar plexus combined with sciatic nerve block for knee arthroscopy. Methods After obtaining written informed consent 16 ASAⅠorⅡpatients of both sexes (8 males ,8 females) scheduled for unilateral knee arthroscopy under lumbar plexus combined with sciatic nerve block with ropivacaine were randomly divided into 2 groups (n = 8 each) : group A received 0.5% ropivacaine 30 ml (15.0 mg) and group B received 0.75% ropivacaine 30 ml (22.5 mg) . Blood samples were taken from radial artery immediately after and at 5, 10, 15, 30, 45, 60, 120 and 180 min after drug administration for determination of plasma ropivacaine concentration by HPLC. The pharmacokinetic parameters were calculated using 3p97 computer program. Results The two groups were comparable with respect to sex ratio (M/F), age, body weight, height, duration of operation and amount of fluid infused. The main pharmacokinetic parameters in group A and B were: Cmax(1.4?0.3) mg?L-1 and (2.7?0.9) mg?L-1;AUC (3.88?0.28) mg?L-1?h-1 and (7.13?0.65) mg?L-1?h-1;t1/2?(0.44?0.19)h and (0.60?0.34)h; t1/2?(3.4?0.4)h and (2.4?0.5)h. The Cmax in group B was significantly higher than that in group A. The Cmax of ropivacaine reached 3.57 mg?L-1 in group B. No patient developed central nervous system or cardiac toxicity. Conclusion The plasma concentration versus time curve is fitted to two-compartment pharmacokinetic model. Lumbar plexus combined with sciatic nerve block with 0.5% ropivacaine 30 ml is safer.

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2015;32(4):808-814
The development of muscle strength evaluating system based on Android system was developed in this research. The system consists of a lower unit and an intelligent mobile terminal. The pressure sensor of the lower unit was used to collect muscle strength parameters. And the parameters were sent to the Android device through the wireless Bluetooth serial port. Then the Android device would send the parameters to the doctor monitored platform through the Internet. The system realized analyzing the muscle strength parameters and real-time displaying them. After it ran on the Android mobile phones, it showed an effective result which proved that the system combined with mobile platform could make more convenient for the patients to assess their own muscle strength. It also provided reliable data references for doctors to know the patients' rehabilitation condition and to make the next rehabilitation plan.

Chinese Journal of Rheumatology 2011;15(11):742-745
ObjectiveTo evaluate the correlation between serum anti-Jo-1 antibody level and myositis disease activity in polymyositis/dermatomyositis.MethodsAnti-Jo-1 antibody levels in serum from 148 polymyositis/dermatomyositis patients and 130 healthy controls were measured by both ELISA and immunoblot assay.Disease activity of the anti-Jo-1 antibody positive patients was assessed by the global myositis disease activity score (visual analogue score,VAS) established by the International Myositis Assessment and Clinical Studies(IMACS) Group. The correlation between disease activity and level of serum antiJo-1 antibody was assessed.Comparisons between groups were performed by x2 test or t test.ResultsThe positive rate of ELISA and EUROLINE was 24.3%(36/148) and 27.0%(40/148) respectively.Fever,ILD,arthritis/arthralgia were found to be more predominant in anti-Jo-1 antibody positive patients than those who were anti-Jo-1 antibody negative patients. There was significant positive correlation between the global myositis disease activity score (VAS) and serum level of anti-Jo-1 antibody (r=0.874,P=9.000).Serum antiJo-1 antibody levels, together with global disease activity, were significantly decreased in the 7 patients after treatment.ConclusionAnti-Jo-1 antibody level measured by ELISA is associated with disease activity of PM/DM,and could be a marker of disease activity.
