1.Simultaneous Determination of Caffeic Acid,Isoschaftoside and Schaftoside in Xiaoyan Lidan Tablet by RP-HPLC

ABSTARCT OBJECTIVE:To establish a method for the simultaneous determination of caffeic acid,isoschaftoside and schafto-side in Xiaoyan lidan tablet. METHODS:RP-HPLC was performed on the column of Phenomenex C18 with mobile phase of metha-nol- 0.1% phsphate acid(gradient elution)at flow rate of 0.8 ml/min,the detection wavelength was 334 nm,column temperature was 25 ℃,and the injection volume was 10 μl. RESULTS:The linear range was 0.10-2.81 μg for caffeic acid(r=0.999 9), 0.20-5.63 μg for isoschaftoside(r=0.999 9)and 0.10-2.63 μg for schaftoside(r=0.999 9);RSDs of precision,stability and repro-ducibility tests were lower than 3%;recoveries were 96.3%-100.4%(RSD=1.59%,n=9),97.3%-101.2%(RSD=1.28%,n=9) and 96.6%-100.6%(RSD=1.39%,n=9),respectively. CONCLUSIONS:The method is sensitive,accurate,reliable and reproduc-ible,and can be used for the simultaneous determination of caffeic acid,isoschaftoside and schaftoside in Xiaoyan lidan tablet the quality control of Xiaoyan lidan tablet.
2.Clinical Observations on the Efficacy of Autohemotherapy plus Pricking-cupping Bloodletting in Treating Common Acne

ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical efficacy of autohemotherapy plus pricking-cupping bloodletting in treating common acne.MethodFifty-six patients with common acne were randomly allocated to a treatment group of 28 cases and a control group of 28 cases. The treatment group received autohemotherapy plus pricking-cupping bloodletting and the control group, oral administration of licorzinc plus external application of benzoyl peroxide gel. In the two groups, the skin injury scorewas recorded and the overall therapeutic effects were evaluated.ResultThere was a statistically significant pre-/post-treatment difference in the skin injury score in the two groups (P<0.05). The skin injury score decreased more in the treatment group than in the control group (P<0.05). There was a statistically significant difference in the overall therapeutic effect between the two groups (P<0.01). The therapeutic effect was significantly better in the treatment group than in the control group.Conclusion Autohemotherapy plus pricking-cupping bloodletting is an effective, reliable, safe and convenient way to treat common acne.
3.Hospital Infection Knowledge Investigation among Hospital Logistic Personnel and Countermeasures in a Grass-root Hospital

OBJECTIVE To investigate hospital infection knowledge among 61 hospital logistic personnel in Lanxi People′s Hospital and explore how to improve self-protection consciousness and strengthen hospital management countermeasures.METHODS The survey with self-designed questionnaires and interview were conducted.RESULTS The following phenomena were commonly found among hospital logistic personnel: lack of correlative knowledge and self-protection ability about hospital infection;awareness on occupational risk;infrequence of regular training and periodic physical examinations.CONCLUSIONS The management of grass-root hospital should enhance regular training on hospital infection knowledge including normal handwashing procedures,strengthen self-protection consciousness education and periodic physical examinations,consequently to improve the action of hospital logistic personnel on hospital infection control.
4.Biocompatibility-associated index alterations in vascular implantation

Injury of blood vessel and subsequent repairing reactions to injury during vascular implant implantation can induce local and systematical inflammatory reactions,platelet and inflammatory cell aggregation,release of inflammation transmitter,chemotactic factor and tumor necrosis factor,which promotes vascular smooth muscle cell migration and proliferation,ultimately restenosis.Inflammatory reactions following implantation is highly correlated with intravascular restenosis.Well understanding of inflammatory factor features,monitoring of inflammatory factor index alterations,and taking some measures to increase histocompatibility can reduce inflammatory reaction intensity and duration.In addition,drug-eluting stent and skilled implanting technique can reduce incidence of inflammatory reactions.
5.Therapeutic Observation of Acupoint Application for Hyperplasia of Mammary Glands

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of acupoint application and moving cupping plus photo ionization treatment apparatus in treating hyperplasia of mammary glands. Method Sixty patients with hyperplasia of mammary glands were randomized into a treatment group and a control group, 30 in each group. The treatment group was intervened by acupoint application and moving cupping plus photo ionization treatment apparatus, while the control group was by oral administration of Tamoxifen and Ru Pi San Jie tablets. The breast pain and lump score was observed before and after 2-month treatment, and the clinical efficacy was compared. Result The breast pain and lump scores were significantly changed in both groups after intervention (P<0.05). After intervention, there was no significant difference in comparing the breast pain and lump score between the two groups (P>0.05). The total effective rate was 96.7% in the treatment group versus 86.7% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Acupoint application plus moving cupping plus photo ionization treatment is an effective method in treating hyperplasia of mammary glands, and it can ease or reduce breast pain, and improve or reduce the lump.
6.Comparison between ThinPrep cytologic test and colposcope pathological biopsy in screening of cervical cancer and premalignant lesion

Objective To study the application values of ThinPrep cytologic test (TCT) and colposcope pathological biopsy in screening of cervical cancer and premalignant lesion.Methods Two hundred and forty-two female patients with TCT results abnormal were selected as the research object,and they were examined in colposcope pathological biopsy.The diagnostic accordance between TCT and colposcope pathological biopsy was analyzed,and the result of colposcope pathological biopsy in cervical different parts was compared.Results In TCT,the ratio of cervical intra-epithelial neoplasia (CIN) in atypical squamous cell of undetermined significance was 56.52% (52/92),that in low-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion was 88.16%(67/76) and in high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion was 100.00%(67/67),the test results of two methods had consistency by the Pearson rank correlation test (Pearson contingency coefficient =0.7588,x2 =328.37,P < 0.05).In colposcope pathological biopsy,the positive rate of lesions center was 90.22% (83/92),that of lesions edge was 73.17% (60/82) and that of 3,6,9,12 point was 71.74% (66/92),there were significant differences among the positive rate of the three parts by the unidirectional ordered categorical data rank and inspection (Kruskal-Wallis method)(P < 0.05),the positive rate of lesions center was higher than that of lesions edge and 3,6,9,12 point (P< 0.05),there was no significant difference in positive rate between lesions edge and with 3,6,9,12 point (P >0.05).Condusion The result of TCT and colposcope pathological biopsy is consistent,and the positive rate of lesions center of colposcope pathological biopsy is higher,which is higher than that of lesions edge and 3,6,9,12 point.
7.Effect of oxymatrine on serum matrix metalloproteinase-9 and transforming growth factor-β1 in patients with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis

Objective To study the effect ofoxymatrine on serum matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9)and transforming growth factor-β 1 (TGF-β 1) in patients with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and illuminate the mechanism and action.Methods Total 38 patients with IPF in the patient group were divided into the conventional treatment group and the oxymatrine group by random digits table method with 19 cases each.Meanwhile 38 healthy people were as the control group.Then serum MMP-9 and TGF-β1 levels were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and compared.Results The serum MMP-9 level in the control group and the patient group was (92.30 ± 27.21),(420.66 ± 101.78) μg/L,and there was significant difference (P < 0.05).The serum TGF-β 1 level in the control group and the patient group was (67.36 ± 13.03),(217.82 ±43.90) μg/L,there was significant difference (P <0.05).There was no significant difference in the serum MMP-9 and TGF-β1 level before treatment between the conventional treatment group and the oxymatrine group (P > 0.05).There was significant difference in the serum MMP-9 level before and after treatment in the conventional treatment group [(138.91 ± 35.09) μ g/L vs.(428.21 ±102.75) μ g/L] (P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in the serum MMP-9 level before and after treatment in the oxymatrine group (P > 0.05).There was significant difference in the serum TGF-β 1 level before and after treatment in the conventional treatment group and the oxymatrine group [(145.42 ± 30.78)μg/Lvs.(200.34±58.96)μg/L;(102.37±26.04) μg/Lvs.(219.78±63.20) μg/L](P<0.05).There was significant difference in the serum TGF-β1 level after treatment between the conventional treatment group and the oxymatrine group (P< 0.05).Conclusion Oxymatrine can degrade IPF by reducing TGF-β 1 and maintaining MMP-9 in the higher level.
8.Relationship among the characteristics of anemia, serum level of erythropoietin and the renal tubulointerstitial injury in drug-associated renal parenchymal acute renal failure patients

Objective: To recognize the characteristics of anemia in patients with drug-associated renal parenchymal ARF and to investigate the possible relations among Hb, serum level of EPO and the renal tubulointerstitial injury. Methods: Sixteen in-patients with drug-associated renal parenchymal ARF (including ATN and ATIN groups)for the last five years and 8 healthy volunteers (control group) were assessed in this study. The general information of these patients was analyzed retrospectively. Anemia related laboratory parameters, serum EPO, serum creatinine (Scr) and the renal tubular function from the samples on the time of renal biopsy in each group were compared. For pathological comparison of renal tubulointerstitial pathological changes, renal biopsy specimens from 5 patients with mild non-IgA mesangial proliferative glomerulonephritis were used as negative controls. The pathological changes in renal tubules and interstitial area were semi-quantitive scored by a computer imaging system. The correlations between Hb and EPO levels, as well as EPO level and renal function or pathological injury index were analyzed, respectively. Results: There was no significant difference among the ages, genders and the time intervals both from the administration to the onset of the disease and from the onset to the kidney biopsy among ATN and ATIN groups. 9.Effect of polysaccharide from spirulina platensis on hematopoietic recovery and related cytokines in mice with transplant tumor after treated by chemotherapy

AIM: To evaluate the effect of polysaccharide from spirulina platensis (PSP) on hematopoietic recovery and related cytokines in mice with transplant tumor after treated by chemotherapy. METHODS: The tumor cells were subcutaneously injected in the right forefoot to induce transplant solid tumor in mice. The mice were ig with PSP for 10 d and injected intraperitoneally with cyclophosphamide (CTX) for 3 d. On d 11, the count of peripheral blood cell, nucleated cell in bone marrow and CFU-S (Colony Forming Unit-Spleen) was observed; The content of DNA in bone marrow was inspected by UV-spectrophotometer; The cytokines in serums were inspected by double antibody sandwich ELISA. RESULTS: CTX could induce evident myelosuppression. But PSP could elevate the level of peripheral blood cell, increase nucleated cell and DNA in bone marrow, and promote CFU-S formation. In addition, PSP could also increase the content of IL-1, IL-3, GM-CSF, and TNF-? in serum. CONCLUSION: It is probably that PSP accelerates the hematopoietic recovery in mice with transplant tumor treated by chemotherapy by promoting endogenous cytokines secretion.
10.Analysis on the results of foodborne disease surveillance in Baiyin City, Gansu Province, 2015

Objective The aim of this study was to analyze of the prevalence of Norovirus in the foodborne disease surveillance population in Baiyin City in 2015,and provide scientific basis for the prediction,early warning,prevention and control of foodborne diseases caused by Norovirus.Methods A questionnaire survey was conducted on the cases of foodborne disease surveillance.Fecal specimen were collected,and Norovirus GⅠ and GⅡ were detected by real time fluorescence quantitative polymerase chain reaction.Results Three hundred and forty-four foodborne disease cases were reported,78 cases were positive,and the detection rate was 22.7%.Five cases were positive for Norovirus GⅠ,and 71 cases for GⅡ.Two cases were positive for both GⅠ and GⅡ.Forty-six cases were male and 32 cases were female.The oldest patient was 83 years old,and the youngest was only 3 months with an average age of 20.3.Conclusion Norovirus was one of the main foodborne pathogens in the city,and the main epidemic was GⅡ in autumn and winter.Public education and health monitoring should be strengthened.
