1.Breast milk acquired cytomegalovirus infections in premature infants: doubts and challenges

Breast feeding is the optimal food for all babies. Human milk can promote the immune system and other immature organs of premature infants, and improve the development and long term outcomes. However, breast milk may carry pathogenic microorganisms especially cytomegalovirus, which can be infected through breast feeding. Infected preterm infants could appear a series of clinical symptoms and may developed a series of adversely long-term prognosis. This paper discussed the research progress about preterm infants acquired the cytomegalovirus by breast feeding after birth and focused on the existing clinical prevention treatment strategies.

3.Simultaneous Determination of Caffeic Acid,Isoschaftoside and Schaftoside in Xiaoyan Lidan Tablet by RP-HPLC

ABSTARCT OBJECTIVE:To establish a method for the simultaneous determination of caffeic acid,isoschaftoside and schafto-side in Xiaoyan lidan tablet. METHODS:RP-HPLC was performed on the column of Phenomenex C18 with mobile phase of metha-nol- 0.1% phsphate acid(gradient elution)at flow rate of 0.8 ml/min,the detection wavelength was 334 nm,column temperature was 25 ℃,and the injection volume was 10 μl. RESULTS:The linear range was 0.10-2.81 μg for caffeic acid(r=0.999 9), 0.20-5.63 μg for isoschaftoside(r=0.999 9)and 0.10-2.63 μg for schaftoside(r=0.999 9);RSDs of precision,stability and repro-ducibility tests were lower than 3%;recoveries were 96.3%-100.4%(RSD=1.59%,n=9),97.3%-101.2%(RSD=1.28%,n=9) and 96.6%-100.6%(RSD=1.39%,n=9),respectively. CONCLUSIONS:The method is sensitive,accurate,reliable and reproduc-ible,and can be used for the simultaneous determination of caffeic acid,isoschaftoside and schaftoside in Xiaoyan lidan tablet the quality control of Xiaoyan lidan tablet.

7.Hospital Infection Knowledge Investigation among Hospital Logistic Personnel and Countermeasures in a Grass-root Hospital

OBJECTIVE To investigate hospital infection knowledge among 61 hospital logistic personnel in Lanxi People′s Hospital and explore how to improve self-protection consciousness and strengthen hospital management countermeasures.METHODS The survey with self-designed questionnaires and interview were conducted.RESULTS The following phenomena were commonly found among hospital logistic personnel: lack of correlative knowledge and self-protection ability about hospital infection;awareness on occupational risk;infrequence of regular training and periodic physical examinations.CONCLUSIONS The management of grass-root hospital should enhance regular training on hospital infection knowledge including normal handwashing procedures,strengthen self-protection consciousness education and periodic physical examinations,consequently to improve the action of hospital logistic personnel on hospital infection control.
8.Technology Verification for Irbesartan and Hydrochlorothiazide Tablets

Objective: To verify the feasibility and reliability of the pilot process of irbesartan and hydrochlorothiazide tablets. Methods:Three batches of the tablets were produced according to the determined formula and process, and the key parameters in the pilot production were verified. Results:All the indices for each batch of irbesartan and hydrochlorothiazide tablets conformed to the re-quirements of the quality standard. Conclusion: The pilot process of irbesartan and hydrochlorothiazide tablets is feasible, and the technological process and parameters can ensure the product quality with promising reliability and stability.
9.Biocompatibility-associated index alterations in vascular implantation

Injury of blood vessel and subsequent repairing reactions to injury during vascular implant implantation can induce local and systematical inflammatory reactions,platelet and inflammatory cell aggregation,release of inflammation transmitter,chemotactic factor and tumor necrosis factor,which promotes vascular smooth muscle cell migration and proliferation,ultimately restenosis.Inflammatory reactions following implantation is highly correlated with intravascular restenosis.Well understanding of inflammatory factor features,monitoring of inflammatory factor index alterations,and taking some measures to increase histocompatibility can reduce inflammatory reaction intensity and duration.In addition,drug-eluting stent and skilled implanting technique can reduce incidence of inflammatory reactions.
