Objective:To investigate the current status of discharged patients at risk of pressure injury and analyze risk factors of pressure injury. Methods:Using the convenient sampling method, 54 medical alliance units of Chongqing Fuling Central Hospital were selected for a cross-sectional survey. Patients at risk of pressure injury when discharged from the hospital and their caregivers were selected as the research objects from August 2019 to June 2020. The general demographic data sheet, clinical test data sheet, Braden Pressure Ulcer Risk Assessment Scale, Barthel index, and Family Caregiver Task Inventory (FCTI) were used for investigation. In this study, a total of 409 questionnaires were issued and 409 were effectively received, with an effective recovery of 100%.Results:There were 224 patients (54.8%) at light risk of pressure injury, 74 patients (18.1%) at moderate risk, 89 patients (21.8%) at high risk and 22 (5.4%) patients at extreme risk. The differences in general demographic data, clinical test data and self-care ability grade of 409 patients were statistically significant ( P<0.05) . The FCTI scores of caregivers for patients with different risk levels were compared, and the difference was statistically significant ( P<0.05) . The results of ordered logistic regression analysis showed that white blood cell count ( OR=1.103, 95% CI: 1.006-1.209, P=0.035) , care ability of caregivers ( OR=1.060, 95% CI: 1.017-1.104, P=0.005) , fecal incontinence ( OR=14.112, 95% CI: 2.505-79.497, P=0.003) , indwelling catheter ( OR=3.111, 95% CI: 1.332-7.269, P=0.009) , severe dependence ( OR=15.705, 95% CI: 2.655-92.918, P=0.002) were risk factors for the risk of pressure injury in discharged patients. Conclusions:Among discharged patients with Braden score less than or equal to 18 points, there are 45.2% (185/409) patients with moderate risk of pressure injury and above. It is necessary to focus on discharged patients with high levels of white blood cells, weak care ability of caregivers, indwelling catheters and self-care ability of heavy dependence grade to prevent pressure injuries.

OBJECTIVE To investigate the effect of amifostine(Amf)on the differentiation of human megakaryocyte cell line-Dami. METHODS Dami cells were treated with Amf 0.01-5.0 mmol · L-1 for 12 d. Dami cells were counted every day for the growth curve:only cells with a diameter>20μm. The platelet demarcation membrane system was observed by transmission electron microscopy. The expression of CD33,CD34,CD41a and DNA ploidy was detected by flow cytometry. RESULTS Amf 0.1-1.0 mmol · L-1 promoted the differentiation of Dami cells ,but inhibited their proliferation at a concentration>1.0 mmol · L-1. When these cells were treated with Amf 1.0 mmol · L-1 for 12 d,the platelet demarcation membrane system was observed, the percentage of cells with a diameter >20 μm was increased by 24.6%(P<0.01),the expression of CD41a was increased by 11.9%,while the expression of CD33 was decreased by 13.6%(P<0.05). Polyploidy cells(16N)were observed, and 4N,8N and 16N cells were increased to 31.56%,8.83% and 3.43%,respectively(P<0.05). CONCLUSION Amf 0.1-1.0 mmol · L-1 can promote the differentiation of Dami cells, but inhibit their proliferation at a high concentration(>1.0 mmol·L-1).

Objective To assess the prevalence of depressive symptoms, trends on its longitudinal development and related influencing factors among primary and middle school students in Changfeng county of Anhui province. Methods Through cluster sampling methods, all students from 3 to 9 grades in 5 primary schools and 3 middle schools in Changfeng county of Anhui province were investigated through questionnaire as subjects of baseline survey in December 2009. Subjects of this longitudinal study were students in grades 3,4 and 7 at the time of the baseline survey and were contacted once a year for two years. At last,a total of 816 students participated in all the three surveys. A structured questionnaire including Children’s Depression Inventory,socio-demographic characteristics and some potential influential factors was employed for this study. A Generalized Estimating Equation (GEE) was used to evaluate the related influencing factors of children’s depressive symptoms in the longitudinal study. Results Prevalence rates of depressive symptoms were 11.3%,10.4% and 8.5%,respectively,at the baseline,1-year and 2-year follow-up studies, among primary and middle school students. Scores on depressive symptoms of total subjects and children who had always been left at home in the follow-up process showed significant differences at the three surveys (F=13.423,P<0.001;F=5.761,P=0.003). 25 percent of the 92 students who showed depressive symptoms at the baseline survey remained those depressive symptoms at the 1-year follow-up study and 87 percent of the 23 students who had depressive symptoms at the baseline and 1-year follow-up surveys still showing depressive symptoms at the 2-year follow-up study. Results from the GEE program indicated that grade 3 students, having syblings, family with dysfunction or at low level of self-esteem etc.,were prone to development while sex and parents’ educational level were not correlated with depressive symptoms. Conclusion Prevalence of depressive symptoms among primary and middle school students in Changfeng county of Anhui province appeared a decreasing tendency during the follow-up process in our study. Through the longitudinal development,we noticed that the prevalence of depressive symptoms seemed to be related to the personal characteristics, education and family environment of the subjects under our study. Improving the level of family function as well as individual’s self-esteem might positively contribute to mental health of those primary and middle school students.
