In order to find out an index for the assessment of chromium deficiency in diabetic patients, the contents of chromium in the hair of twenty-seven diabetic patients and sixty-three healthy subjects were determined. The effects of intravenous injection of purifed EC on the rectal tempera-ture in normal rabbits and febrile rabbits induced by ET and concentrations of Fe~(2+), Zn~(2+),Cu~(2+) in serum were observed. The results showed that EC could lower the rectal tempera-ture in normal rabbits and also the increased rectal temperature in febrile rabbits. Mean-while, EC could inhibit the formation of the second phase of ET-fever. But EC had noeffect on the changed concentrations of FC~(2+), Zn~(2+), Cu~(2+) in serum caused by ET. Thesefindings suggest that EC may particiate in the regulation of body temperarure under physio-logical and febrile conditions, but not of acute phase response produced by ET.

Objective The study aimed at establishing an evaluation index system of clinical competence of nursing undergraduate interns,which is more scientific,clearly guidable,comparative and convenient in order to provide the theoretical foundations to enhance the standardization,objectivity and fairness of the evaluation of clinical competence of nursing undergraduate interns.Methods Based on the Delphi method,the items of evaluation system was selected,the standards with 4 different levels for each item were set.Results The evaluation index system of clinical competence of nursing undergraduate interns was constructed,which was composed of 23 items from 5 domains including professional value,clinical nursing competence,communication and collaboration competence,teaching and management competence and professional development competence.Four different levels of evaluation standards were set for each item to differentiate different levels of clinical competence.The enthusiasm coefficient of experts was 96.2％(＞60％),the average authority coefficient of experts was 0.9128 (＞0.70).The harmonization coefficient of the 5 domains in the first grade index was 0.9262 and those of 23 items in the second grade index was 0.9127.Conclusions The index system of clinical competence of nursing undergraduate interns established evaluation standard of each level.The enthusiasm coefficient,authority coefficient and harmonization coefficient of expert consultation showed that it has high representativeness and reliability.

Objective: To evaluate the status of loneliness, the influential factors and the relationship between loneliness and family function among bereaved parents in disaster area of 5.12 Earthquake and to provide basis for mental and family reconstruction for those people suffering from the Earthquake. Methods: A total 190 bereaved parents in disaster area of 5.12 Earthquake were enrolled for an across-sectional study. A face-to-face survey was conducted by following scales: General Data Scale, University of California at Los Angels Loneliness Scale, Emotional and Social Loneliness Scale and Family APGAR Index. Results: hTe score of loneliness ranged from 24 to 69 (mean=43.58, SD=9.61), the score of emotional loneliness ranged from 5 to 24 (mean=11.95, SD=3.60) while the social loneliness ranged from 6 to 24 (mean=13.99, SD=3.69). hTe scores of loneliness, social loneliness and emotional loneliness were all increased among bereaved parents compared to people without loss of their child. The results of multivariate analysis showed that family function and status of fertility significantly impacted the loneliness (P<0.05). Furthermore, there was negative correlation between family function and the loneliness, social loneliness and emotional loneliness (P<0.05). Conclusion: The bereaved parents in disaster area of 5.12 Earthquake showed higher level of loneliness. The better of family function indicated the less of loneliness in bereaved parents. Measures should be taken to promote mental and family reconstruction for such people, including providing effective skills to improve emotional communication and family function and offering technical support for having another baby.

Objective To evaluate the clinical diagnostic value of coronary artery calcification score(CACS)of multi-slice spiral computed tomography(MSCT)combined with carotid intima-media thickness(IMT)measure in elderly patients with coronary artery disease(CAD). Methods　CACS of MSCT,carotid IMT measure,and coronary angiography were performed in 68 patients,including 36 cases with CAD(CAD group)diagnosed by coronary angiography and 32 cases(control group)with coronary arterial stenosis(＜50% stenosis).CACS and carotid IMT were compared between two groups. Results　The coronary artery calcification score was significantly increased in CAD group compared with the control group[(349.5±86.3)vs.(74.7±25.2),t=13.670,P＜0.01],and it was increased with the severity of coronary arterial stenosis.The carotid intima-media thickness in CAD group showed significant difference with that in control group[(1.11±0.05)mm vs(0.69±0.13)mm,t=13.587,P＜0.01].In CAD group,CACS exhibited a significant positive correlation with carotid IMT(r=0.950,P＜0.01).The positive rates of CACS and carotid IMT were both 77.8% (28 cases)in CAD group and both 12.5%(4 cases)in control group,which showed significant difference between two groups(X2=28.976,P＜0.01). Conclusions　CACS of MSCT combined with carotid IMT have high sensitivity and specificity in evaluating coronary arteriaI stenosis.It can be used as a non-invasive examination to diagnose CAD in the elderly.

Objective To observe the clinical effect of Xiaoaiping Injection combined with gemcitabine and carboplatin in the treatment ofⅢB and Ⅳ non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).Methods Totally 106 NSCLC patients from Huangshi Central Hospital of Edong Medical Group were sellected in this study.The patients were divided into gemcitabine and carboplatin control group (n =53)and Xiaoaiping Injection combined with gemcitabine and carboplatin observation group (n =53).The clinical efficacy and adverse reactions were compared between two groups.Results After four cycles of treatment,the effective rate and control rate in observation group were 39.6％ and 77.4％,and those in control group were 35.8％ and 75.5％.There was no significant difference between the two groups.The decline rates of white blood cells,hemoglobin,and platelet in observation group were 41.5％,37.7％,and 45.3％,which were significantly lower than those of 64.2％,62.3％,and 69.8％ in control group (P ＜ 0.05).There was no significant difference of renal function injury,liver function damage,nausea,vomiting,dizziness,headache,diarrhea,and constipation between two groups.In observation group,the median survival time was 8.4 months,time to tumor progression was 5.3 months,and 1 year survival rate was 26.4％.In control group,the median survival time was 7.7 months,time to tumor progression was 4.2 months,and 1 year survival rate was 11.3％.There was significant difference between two groups (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Xiaoaiping Injection combined with gemcitabine and carboplatin can reduce the hematologic toxicity of chemotherapy drug in the treatment of ⅢB and Ⅳ NSCLC,and improve long-term clinical outcomes.combined with gemcitabine and carboplatin can reduce the hematologic toxicity of chemotherapy drug in the treatment ofⅢB and Ⅳ NSCLC,and improve long-term clinical outcomes.

Objective To investigate the knowledge degree of the risk of intrauterine adhesions in patients with induced abortion.Methods A total of 360 patients,who accepted induced abortion in gynecological clinic from June to November 2015,were evaluated using self-edited Assessment on Doctor-patient Communication in Gynecological Outpatient Clinic.Results 83.9％ patients could provide previous pregnancy and fertility history,24.2％patients could repeat clearly therapeutic advice and attentions after induced abortion,13.1 ％ patients understood the risk of uterine adhesion,9.7 ％ patients understood the influnce of uterine adhesion on fertility and 31.9 ％ patients wished to prevent uterine adhesion with drugs,patients with spontaneous abortion and multiple abortion history understood the risk with 67.6％ and 31.5％ respectively,overall 61.9％ patients felt the pressure and wished to get more attetions.Conclusion We need to strengthen the risk informing of intrauterine adhesions after induced abortion.

OBJECTIVE To study the cytotoxicity of polyamide amine dendrimers (PAMAM)-hyaluronic acid(HA)as a non-viral gene delivery vector in vitro. METHODS PAMAM-HA was synthesized by our laboratory. Cytotoxicities of various polymers on HeLa cells,Bel-7402 cells and HepG2 cells were evaluated by MTT assay. Apoptotic rates were determined by flow cytometry. RESULTS The cytotoxicity of PAMAM-HA polymer increased with the concentration of polymer(50-800 mg · L-1),the time of action(24-72 h), the number of generations of PAMAM(G4,G5) and decrease in the molecular mass(3850,17 200)and the graft density(5%-25%)of HA. After incubation with PAMAM G4-HA3850-5%or PAMAM G5-HA3850-5%for 24 h,the apoptotic rate of hepatoma cells—Bel-7402 cells was 4.5%and 9.9%,respectively. After incubation with complexes of PAMAM G4-HA3850-5%/DNA or PAMAM G5-HA3850-5%/DNA for 24 h,the viability of HeLa cells was more than 80%,which was lower than that of PAMAM G4/DNA和PAMAM G5/DNA. CONCLUSION Cytotoxicity of PAMAM modified by HA of different grafting density and quantity can be reduced ,suggesting the PAMAM is a promising non-viral gene vector.
