Leptin as a polypeptide has a wide range of biologic effects, which can regulate appetite and energy metabolism common with leptin receptor. Recent studies found that leptin was related with tumor formation and development, which contribute to tumor progression by increasing angiogenesis, stimulates cell proliferation, adhesion and invasion through multiple channels.

Objective To describe surgical nurses' learning motivation of attending continuing nursing education (CNE) and to analyze influencing factors of learning motivation.All of these would be reference for managers of hospitals and administrative department to improve the quality of CNE and make related policy.Methods 140 surgical nurses from one general hospital were recruited to fill a questionnaire of demographic data of participants and revised Education Participation Scale (EPS).Results The score of EPS of surgical nurses was (89.26±13.67),the first dimension was professional advancement,followed by serving society,learning interest,social relation,external expectations and escape/stimulation.The score of EPS of nurses who were younger than 35 years old,single,no administrative posts was higher than nurses who were older than 35 years old,married or in administrative position.Education level,working life,professional ritle,financial resources and numbers participating in CNE in recent 1 year made some differences for EPS score.Conclusions The score of EPS of surgical nurses was at middle level,factors affecting EPS were different.The managers should take interventions to improve the motivation of attending CNE according to nurses' characters in order to increase the professional level and nursing quality of nurses.

〔Abstract〕 Based on analyzing the background of generic drugs research and development, the paper elaborates the utilization meth-ods of drugs invalid patents, including information sources optimization and retrieval, invalid patents selection indexes and methods, in-fringement avoidance strategy.It takes the gastrointestinal stromal tumor drugs for example to find out drugs which can be imitated, pros-pects the future application of invalid patents information.

Nonaqueous capillary electrophoresis-chemiluminescence (NACE) method was developed for the determination of five phenolic environmental estrogens including bisphenol A (BPA),4-nonylphenol(4-NP) ,4-tert-octylphenol(4-tOP),4-tert-butylphenol(4-tBP) and tetrabromobisphenol A(TBBPA) in food packaging material. Target compounds in soaking solution of food packaging material samples were separated by NACE-CL after derivatization with 4-(4,5-diphenyl-lH-imidazol-2-yl) benzoyl chloride ( DIB-Cl) ,reacted with per-oxyoxalate chemiluminescence system,and then detected through magnifying light signal with photomultiplier. With 17β-E_2 as internal standard,qualitative and quantitative analysis of the target compounds were performed by relative migration time and the ratio of relative chemiluminescence intensity,respectively. Several influence factors on separation with NACE,such as the composition and proportion of organic solvent,the concentration of electrolyte,temperature surrounding of the capillary,the concentration of acetic acid and work voltage,were investigated. And the peroxyoxalate chemiluminescence system was optimized. Under these conditions,4-tBP,BPA,4-OP,4-NP and TBBPA were all separated and showed good linearities in the ranges of 0.0095-3.0 mg/L,0.0087-3.0 mg/L,0.0085 -3.0 mg/L,0.011 -3.0 mg/L,0.009-3.0 mg/L,respectively,with correlation coefficients over 0. 9947. The RSDs of relative migration time and relative chemiluminescence intensity ratio were 0.9% -3.0% and 6.5% - 8.6%. Recoveries for the spiked samples ranged from 86.7% to 98. 8%. Five common food packaging material samples were analyzed. The proposed method is simple and sensitive for the quantitative determination of phenolic environmental estrogens in food packaging material samples.

Objective To analyze the clinical character of uveitis in second hospital ot Jilin university.Methods Retrospectively analyze the clinical data of uveitis patients referred to from Second Hospital of Jilin University from September 2009 to September 2014.According to anatomical location,the manifestation of these uveitis patients were divided into anterior uveitis,panuveitis,intermediate uveitis and posterior uveitis.To discuss the possible causes of these patients according to the general information and relevant clinical laboratory examinations results.Results There were 1215 cases in this study,which included 587 male,accounting for 48.31％;and 628 female,accounting for 51.69％.The ratio of male-tofemale was 0.93∶1.The range of the age of these patients was from 4 to 91 years old.The mean age of these patients at the onset of these disease was (41.43±14.20) years.Of the 1215 cases,40 male and 43 female were younger than 20 years.The ratio of male-to-female was 0.93∶ 1;412 male and 396 female were between 21 and 50 years old.The ratio of male-to-female was 1.04∶ 1;135 male 189 female were older than 50 years.The ratio of male-to-female was 0.71∶1.There were 572 cases of anterior uveitis,accounting for 47.08％;527 cases of panuveitis,accounting for 43.37％;52 cases of intermediate uveitis,accounting for 4.28％;64 cases of posterior uveitis,accounting for 5.27％.703 cases had etiological diagnosis according to the clinical character and the auxiliary results,accounting for 57.68％.Vogt-koyanagi Haradal (VKH) syndrome,ankylosing spondylitis associated with uveitis and Behcet' s disease were the common entity,accounting for 30.44％,19.77％ and 14.22％ respectively.Conclusions The mean age of these patients in this study was older,compared to other reports.Female patients were more than male,especially in these patients older than 50 years.VKH syndrome,ankylosing spondylitis associated with uveitis and Behcet's disease were the common entities.

Objective To study the clinical effects and changes in immune index of treating reoccurring respiratory tract infection in children by combining zinc gluconate granula and decoction of four mild drugs.Methods 135 RRI children patients were randomly divided into treatment group which has 68 cases and control group which has 67 cases.The control group are given regular western anti-infection treatment while the treatment group are given,in addition to that,zinc gluconate granule and decoction of four mild drug.Both groups are observed for 3months and then compare the effects and changes of IgG、IgA、IgM before and after the treatment.Results 48 out of 68 cases in treatment group have results of excellence,15 cases have effects and 5 cases show no effects,so the effective rate is 92.64%;While 33 out of 67 cases in control group have results of excellence,10 cases have effects and 24 cases show no effects,so the effective rate is 64.18%.Comparing these two groups,the treatment group gets better effects than the control group(P

Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy ofDuhuo Jisheng Decoction in treating liver and kidney deficiency syndrome of knee osteoarthritis (KOA) by ultrasound.Methods A total of 120 cases of KOA patients with liver and kidney deficiency syndrome were randomly divided into two groups (each contains 60 cases). Control group took hydrochloric acid glucosamine capsules, while treatment group tookDuhuo Jisheng Decoction additionally for 8 weeks. ESR, CRP, WOMAC, joint swelling scores, and TCM syndrome scores of the two groups were determined, and the sonographic characteristics of knee-joint effusion in patellar fabricius, synovial membrane, cartilage and bone erosions were compared before and after treatment.Results There were significant differences in ESR, CRP, WOMAC, joint swelling scores, and TCM syndrome scores between before and after treatment in both groups (P<0.05,P<0.01). The knee-joint synovial membrane got thinner after therapy in osteoarthritis patients, and the effusion in knee-joint also decreased. The vessel flow signals in knee-joint synovial membrane of osteoarthritis decreased after drug therapy (P<0.05,P<0.01).ConclusionDuhuo Jisheng Decoction can improve clinical efficacy of KOA with liver and kidney deficiency syndrome. Ultrasound can clearly observe the changes of effusion in patellar fabricius, and synovial membrane, and can provide good imaging assessment for the drug therapy for KOA patients.

Objective To explore the effect of ultrasound in the diagnosis and treatment of rheumatoid arthritis .Methods though early diagnose of RA by ultrasound ,DAS28 and MRI′s result to measure the accuracy of ultrasound test .then though the ul‐trasound index at different time point in the treatment of RA patients ,we knew the changes of the joint ,and provide treatment plan and prognosis .Results ultrasound had high accuracy rate in the diagnoses of RA(P< 0 .05) ,and there were correlation among ul‐trasound diagnoses accuracy and DAS28 and MRI score(r= 0 .859 ,P< 0 .05) ;at the same time ,it provided accurate changes of the joint during the treatment ,and provided basis for treatment .Conclusion Ultrasound has manifest advantageous in diagnose RA .It could be used as a method in early diagnose RA and evaluate the effect on RA′s treatment .

Objective To investigate the relationship between serum uric acid level and atrial fibrillation in patients with coronary heart disease.Methods Two hundred and forty-seven inpatients with coronary heart disease were selected.All the patients were divided into simple coronary heart disease group (90 cases),coronary heart disease with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation group (85 cases) and coronary heart disease with continuous/permanent atrial fibrillation group (72 cases).The age,history of cardiovascular events,uric acid,echocardiographic characteristics and drug-taking history were carefully recorded.The risk factors of atrial fibrillation in patients with coronary heart disease were analyzed by Logistic regression.Results The level of history of smoking,diastolic blood pressure,body mass index,total cholesterol,high density lipoprotein cholesterol,low density lipoprotein cholesterol,creatinine,fasting plasma glucose,postprandial 2 h plasma glucose,interventricular septal thickness,carotid intima-media thickness and drug-taking history among the 3 groups showed no statistical differences (P ＞ 0.05).The age,systolic blood pressure,uric acid,left atrial diameter (LAD),left ventricular end diastolic diameter (LVEDD) in coronary heart disease with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation group and coronary heart disease with continuous/permanent atrial fibrillation group were significantly higher than those in simple coronary heart disease group,the left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) was significantly lower than that in simple coronary heart disease group,and there were statistical differences (P ＜ 0.01 or ＜ 0.05).The result of Logistic regression analysis showed high uric acid,high age,expanded LAD and LVEDD were the independent risk factors of atrial fibrillation in patients with coronary heart disease,and uric acid showed the most significant correlation (P =0.001,OR =1.061,95％ CI 1.026-1.096).Conclusion High serum uric acid level maybe a risk factor of atrial fibrillation in patients with coronary heart disease.

Objective To investigate the changes of liver histology and ultrastructure in aged Beagles dogs.Methods A total of fifteen healthy Beagles,1 .5 to 10.6 years old,were divided into middle-aged group (n=8,average (2.21 ±0.94)years old)and aged group (n=7,average (8.26±1 .52) years old)according to age.After intravenous anesthesia,the liver tissues of dogs were taken to compare number and morphology of hepatocytes and extra cellular matrix (ECM)of two groups under light microscope with hematoxylin-eosin staining.The number density, morphology and area fraction of mitochondria,the morphology and area fraction of endoplasmic reticulum,the changes of number density and morphology of microbody,the thickness of hepatic sinusoidal endothelial cell as well as the density and the diameter of fenestrae,the changes of morphology and number of lipofuscin in two groups were compared under electron microscope.Independent sample t-test was performed for comparison between two groups.Results Under light microscope,hepatocytes were arranged radially around the central veins,especially obvious in the middle aged group. Hepatocytes were circular or oval,most were mononuclear or binuclear.The cytoplasma of hepatocyte in middle-aged group was dense eosinophilic pink.Vacuolar lipid droplets were small and scanty.The cell boundary was clear.In aged group, cytoplasmic vacuolization of hepatocyte was more obvious,bigger vacuolated lipid droplets were observed, eosinophillic granules were scattered in the cytoplasma,cellular boundary was blurry and the number of hepatocytes significantly decreased when compared with middle-aged group ((75 .80 ±5 .76 )/high power field (HPF)vs (97.80 ±6.45 )/HPF,t = -2.510,P =0.026 ).There were no obvious infiltration of inflammatory cells in the liver tissue of Beagles dogs in both middle-aged group and aged group.Compared with middle aged group, cell gap and ECM increased in aged group. Under electron microscope, mitochondria of normal hepatocyte was oval,round or horseshoe-shaped with double membranes,ridge was observed inside and distributed around nucleus.Compared with middle-aged group,the shape of hepatocyte mitochondria in aged group was varied,the number density of mitochondria significantly decreased (0.202±0.021 vs 0.248 ±0.040,t = -2.683,P =0.020)and the area fraction remarkably reduced (0.136 ±0.015 vs 0.202 ±0.019,t = -6.083,P <0.01 ).Endoplasmic reticulum was mesh laminated arranged,scattered flake distributed and was mostly seen around nucleus in flat or stacked shape.Compared with middle aged group,the area fraction of endoplasmic reticulum of hepatocyte in aged group was obviously reduced (0.006±0.001 vs 0.011 ±0.004,t=-3.338,P =0.005).Lipofuscin was shaped as round or irregular structure without membrane and pigment unevenly distributed inside.The number of lipofuscin in aged group was significantly higher than that in middle-aged group (0.028±0.025 vs 0.001 ±0.000,t=2.880,P =0.014).The number of microbody in aged group was slightly less than that of middle aged group and the difference was not statistically significant (P =0.603).The thickness of the liver sinusoidal endothelium in aged group significantly increased compared with that in middle-aged group ((0.242±0.047)μm vs (0.114±0.075)μm,t=3.881 ,P =0.002).The diameter and density of endothelial fenestration in aged group ((1 .895 ± 0.439 )μm and (0.260 ± 0.120 )/μm)obviously decreased compared with those in middle-aged group ((3.186±0.332)μm and (0.723±0.184)/μm,t=6.345 and -4.511 ,both P <0.01).Conclusions There were significant degradations of liver in quality and quantity among aged individuals.These degradations were the structure basis of decreased hepatic reserve function and involved directly or indirectly in high prevelance of hepatic diseases among elders.
