Objective:To study the expression of survivin gene in cervical carcinoma and its relation to the pathogenesis of cervical carcinoma. Methods:Using SP immunohistochemical technique,we examined 74 cervical tissues of clinicopathological specimens, including 10 normal cervical tissues,5 cervical intraepithelial meoplasia(CIN)lesions,59 invasive squamous cell carcinomas.Rusults:Expression of survivin were not observed in normal cervical tissues. With the lesions progressing ,the expression rate of survivin protein had a increasing tendency.Expression of survivin was related to the tumor grade and clinical stage. Conclusion:The results suggested that survivin expression is the essential event in carcinogenesis and development of cervical carcinoma.Survivin expression in cervical carcinoma is a useful prognostic marker.

Objective To study the expression of a novel inhibitor of apptosis and survivin in cervical carcinoma and its relationship to the expression of Bcl-2.Methods Using SP immunohistochemical technique, we examined the expression of survivin and Bcl-2 in 59 cervical invasive squamous cell carcinomas. Results Survivin was expressed in 41 of 59 cases(69.5%) of cervical carcinomas. In contrast, no expression of survivin in normal cervical tissues was observed. Overexpression of survivin was related to the tumor grade and clinical stage. Survivin positive cases were strongly associated with Bcl-2 expression(80% versus 35.7%;P<0.005).Conclusion Apoptosis inhibition by survivin abnormal expression, alone or in cooperation with Bcl-2, may participate in the onset and progression of cervical carcinoma. Survivin is a new diagnostic/therapeutic target in cervical cancer.

Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis 2001;13(1):48-52
Objective To investigate the significance of overexpression of P53 and bcl-2 protein in carcinogenesis of cervix. Methods 10 cases of cervical intraepithelial neoplasis(CIN) and 57 cases of invasive cancer were investigated with immunohistochemistry technique. Results The overexpresion of P53 protein in CIN and cervical cancer was significantly higher than that of control, respectively (P<0.01). But there was no significant difference between CIN and cervical cancer(P>0. 05). The immunoreactivity of bcl-2 in CIN was much more higher than that of control (P<0.05). The positive rate and immunoreactivity of bcl-2 in cervical carcinoma were both remarkably higher than those of control (P<0. 01) ,but there was no significant difference between CIN and cervical carcinoma (P>0. 05). It was also found that there was a remarkably positive correlation between the overexpression of bcl-2 and P53 (P<0.01). Conclusion Because of the loss of wtP53 function, the expression of bcl-2 can not be down-reguated,which is associated with the pathogenesis and development of cervical carcinoma.

Objective To assess the association between serum γ-glutamyltransferase (γGT) levels and the risk of metabolic syndrome (MS),so as to provide a reference for prevention and diagnosis of MS.Methods Ten papers about the relationship between γGT level and incident MS published in Pubmed,Embase, and the Institute for Scientific Information (ISI),China Academic Journal Full-text Database,China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database and Wan Fang Digital Periodicals Database from January 2000 to April 2014 were retrieved and analysed. Results A total of 65 331 participants from the ten studies were included in the rmeta-analysis.The pooled RR was 2.06 (95% CI 1.63-2.49) when the incidence of MS was compared between the highest and the lowest groups of γGT levels.A subgroup analysis was made in Asian and western populations. The pooled RR of MS in Asian population was 2.26 (95 % CI 1.65-2.87) and in western population it was 1.70 (95 % CI 1.15-2.25).Sensitivity analysis confirmed the stability of results. No publication bias was found in our meta-analysis by Egger's and Begg's test. Conclusion Current evidences from prospective studies indicate that risk of metabolic syndrome is increased in correlation with an increase in serum γGT,and serum γGT seems to be an important predictor for MS.

Objective To detect the double DNA of trisomy 21 syndrome patients by denaturing high-performance liquid chro-matography(DHPLC) in order to rapidly diagnose trisomy 21 syndrome .Methods To amplify DNA fragments of three short tan-dem repeats of D21S111 ,D21S1411 and D21S1412 using corresponding primers .Then DHPLC was introduced to analyze the DNA fragments in the temperature of 50 ℃ .Results DHPLC elution profiles of D21S111 ,D21S1411 and D21S1412 of normal control showed one peak or two peaks with the same altitude .However DHPLC elution profiles of 21 trisomy syndrome patients showed two peaks of different altitudes ,which one′s altitude was twice than another .Conclusion DHPLC is a sensitive ,convenient ,auto-matic and highly-efficient method to diagnose trisomy 21 syndrome and can be widely used in the clinic diagnosis .

Chinese Journal of Ocular Fundus Diseases 2017;33(1):10-14
Objective To compare the consistency and difference of optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) and traditional multimodal fundus imaging in the diagnosis and activity evaluation of choroidal neovascularization (CNV) in exudative age-related macular degeneration (AMD). Methods A total of 112 exudative AMD patients (130 eyes) were included in this retrospective study, 62 were men (71 eyes) and 50 were women (59 eyes). The mean age was (68.250±9.789) years (range 50–91 years). All patients were underwent traditional multimodal fundus imaging including fundus fluorescein angiography (FFA), indocyanine green angiography (ICGA) and spectral domain optical coherence tomography (OCT);OCTA was performed at the same time. The CNV type was divided into active and non-active according to the results of traditional multimodal fundus imaging. The vascular pattern was divided into active and non-active according to the results of OCTA. Using traditional multimodal fundus imaging as the standard, the sensitivity and specialty of OCTA was evaluated. Results In 130 eyes, CNV was visualized on traditional multimodal fundus imaging in 109 eyes (83.8%);CNV was visualized on OCTA in 103 eyes (79.2%), which including 7 eyes of false negative and 1 eye of false positive. The sensitivity of OCTA for CNV diagnosis was 93.6%, with specificity of 95.2%. The CNV detection rate between two methods had no significant difference (Youden index=0.89, Kappa value=0.796, P=0.07). In 109 eyes diagnosed with CNV by traditional multimodal fundus imaging, 73 eyes (67.0%) were active CNV and 36 eyes (33.0%) were non-active CNV;the vascular pattern was active in 60 eyes (55.0%) and non-active in 49 eyes (45.0%). The sensitivity of OCTA for the detection of active CNV was 82.2%, with specificity of 100.0%. The active CNV detection rate between two methods had no significant difference (Youden index=0.82, Kappa value=0.753, P=0.00). Conclusion In the diagnosis and activity evaluation of CNV in exudative AMD, there is remarkable consistency between OCTA and traditional multimodal fundus imaging.
