Objective: To investigate the relationship between the c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK) pathway and lung-resistance protein (LRP). Methods:A549 cells were treated with various concentrations of CDDP for 72 h. The LRP mRNA expression was then analyzed using reverse transcription PCR (RT-PCR). LRP, JNK, and P-JNK were analyzed by Western blotting. The A549 cells were then pretreated with SP600125 (2 μg/ml to 4 μg/ml ) for 1 h. Afterward, CDDP (16 μg/ml) was added into the culture for 72 h. A Cell Counting Kit-8 was used to investigate the sensitivity of CDDP to the A549 cells. Flow cytometry was used to detect the apoptosis rate. The LRP mRNA expression was analyzed using RT-PCR. LRP, JNK, and P-JNK were analyzed by Western blotting. Results:CDDP in-duced the mRNA and protein expression of both LRP and P-JNK in a dose-dependent manner. Pretreatment with SP600125 enhanced the sensitivity of CDDP to the A549 cells and increased the apoptosis rate. However, the LRP mRNA and LRP expression in the pre-treated cells was lower than that in the presence of CDDP alone. Conclusion:In A549 cells, CDDP induces the LRP expression via the JNK pathway. This result suggests that lung cancer therapy can be improved by the addition of CDDP to inhibit the JNK signaling path-way.

The nutritional status of 162 patients with maintenance hemodialysis (MHD) was screened by Nutritional Risk Screening 2002 (NRS-2002) and assessed by Subjective Global Assessment (SGA) at the next day of admission.Among 150 MHD patients who met the study requirement,the nutritional risk was 29.3％ as screened with NRS-2002,and the rate of nutrition deficiency was 41.3％ with SGA assessment,there was no difference between two methods (x2 =18.155,P =0.109) ; According to BMI,the incidence of nutrition deficiencies,overweight and obesity in MHD patients was 13.3％,30.7％ and 29.3％.NRS-2002 and SGA are applicable to nutritional deficiencies assessment in MHD patients,but NRS-2002 is more comprehensive and feasible than SGA.

Objective To compare the clinical efficacy and adverse effects of pegaspargase (PEGASP) and L-asparaginase (L-ASP) in the treatment of NK/T-cell lymphoma.Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 46 patients with NK/T-cell lymphoma in Department of Oncology of Hospital of Qingdao Commercial Staff from September 2009 to July 2015.There were 24 patients treated by PEG-ASP combined with GDP (gemcitabine + cisplatin + dexamethasone) as PEG-ASP group,and 22 patients treated by L-ASP combined with GDP as L-ASP group.The efficacy and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results In the PEG-ASP group,there were 11 patients with complete remission,7 patients with partial remission,and the complete remission rate and objective response rate were 45.83％ and 75.00％.In the L-ASP group,there were 9 patients with complete remission,6 patients with partial remission,and the complete remission rate and objective response rate were 40.91％ and 68.18％.There was no significant difference between the two groups in objective response rate (x2 =0.263,P =0.608).Adverse effects such as myelosuppression (25.00％ vs.22.73％,x2 =0.033,P =0.857),coagulopathy (8.33％ vs.9.10％,x2=0.008,P =0.927),liver and renal dysfunction (8.33％ vs.18.18％,x2 =0.982,P=0.322),gastrointestinal reaction (41.67％ vs.40.91％,x2 =0.003,P =0.958) were similar in the PEGASP group and L-ASP group.But the risk of allergic reaction incurred by PEG-ASP was much lower than L-ASP (4.17％ vs.36.36％),with a significant difference (x2 =7.561,P =0.006).Moreover,the PEGASP group had a shorter duration of hospitalization [(10.04 ± 1.63) d] than the L-ASP group [(13.09 ± 2.76)d],with a significant difference (t=-4.612,P=0.000).Conclusion The efficacy of PEG-ASP and L-ASP in the treatment of NK/T-cell lymphoma is similar,but the rate of allergic reaction of patients treated with PEG-ASP is significantly lower,and the hospitalization time is significantly shorter,which is worthy of further clinical application.

Objective To find out the bioactive constituents in the stem of Lonicera japonica and to carry out a systematic study on the chemical constituents of the plant. Methods Three compounds were isolated from the plant by means of solvent extraction and column chromatography, and their structures were elucidated by spectral analyses. Results All these compounds were identified as luteolin (Ⅰ), loga-nin (Ⅱ), r-1-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxy-phenyl)-trans-2, cis-3-dihydroxymethyl-7, 8-dihydroxy-6-methoxy-1, 2, 3, 4-tetrahydro-naphthalene (Ⅲ), respectively. Conclusion Compound Ⅲ is a new compound named as japenol.

OBJECTIVE: To Study the personality characteristics in patients with sudden deafness. METHOD: Thirty-eight sudden deafness patients and 45 healthy volunteers were assessed by Eysenck personality questionnaire (EPQ). RESULT: The standard scores of P, E, N dimensions of patients with sudden deafness were greater than healthy volunteers. The standard score in L dimensions of patients with sudden deafness was less than healthy volunteers. The difference of the standard score of P dimension revealed statistical significance (P < 0.05). The difference of the standard score of N dimension revealed statistical significance (P < 0.01). The difference of the standard scores of E, L dimensions revealed no statistical significance (P > 0.05). CONCLUSION Sudden deafness patients have emotional instability and psychoticism personality characteristics.

Distortion product otoacoustic emission (DPOAE) signal can be used for diagnosis of hearing loss so that it has an important clinical value. Continuously using sweeping primaries to measure DPOAE provides an efficient tool to record DPOAE data rapidly when DPOAE is measured in a large frequency range. In this paper, locally weighted least squares estimation (LWLSE) of 2f1-f2 DPOAE is presented based on least-squares-fit (LSF) algorithm, in which DPOAE is evoked by continuously sweeping tones. In our study, we used a weighted error function as the loss function and the weighting matrixes in the local sense to obtain a smaller estimated variance. Firstly, ordinary least squares estimation of the DPOAE parameters was obtained. Then the error vectors were grouped and the different local weighting matrixes were calculated in each group. And finally, the parameters of the DPOAE signal were estimated based on least squares estimation principle using the local weighting matrixes. The simulation results showed that the estimate variance and fluctuation errors were reduced, so the method estimates DPOAE and stimuli more accurately and stably, which facilitates extraction of clearer DPOAE fine structure.

Objective To investigate the effect of lidocaine on plasma S100β protein in patients with supratentorial tumor surgery.Methods Thirty patients with supratentorial tumor surgery were selected,ASA grade Ⅰ-Ⅱ grade.The patients were divided into lidocaine group and control group by random digits table with 15 cases each.In lidocaine group,a dose of 2％ lidocaine was administered as an intravenous bolus (1.5 mg/kg) after induction,followed by an intravenous infusion at rate of 2 mg/ (kg ·h) until the end of surgery.In control group,0.9％ sodium chloride was given in the same volume and the same rate.Bloods were sampled from bulb of jugular vein to measure the plasma S100β protein before surgery,end of surgery and 1 day after surgery.Results The plasma S100 β protein before surgery,end of surgery and 1 day after surgery in lidocaine group were (21.03 ± 11.67),(32.63 ± 10.14) and (34.16 ± 17.59) ng/L,in control group were (23.04 ± 13.32),(44.98 ± 16.63) and (39.85 ± 21.99) ng/L.There were no statistical differences in the plasma S100 β protein before surgery and 1 day after surgery between the 2 groups (P ＞ 0.05),but there was statistical difference end of surgery between the 2 groups (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Intraoperative infusion of lidocaine can decrease the plasma S100β protein end of supratentorial tumor surgery.

Objective To study the condition of benzodiazepines use in generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) patients and the relationship with the first benzodiazepine(BZD) prescription.Methods 70 outpatients with GAD were investigated retrospectively and divided into either research group( n = 54, M21, F33; age (18 ～73)year) or control group( n= 16,M7,F9; age( 18 ～53)year) based on whether the first prescription included BZD or not.Results The duration and dose of BZD used in research group ( separately (9.7 ± 4.4) months, ( 1.6 ± 0.7 ) mg/d) were significantly higher than those in control group ( separately(2.3 ± 2.4) months, (0.9 ± 0.9 ) mg/d) (P＜0.01).The long-term use of BZD was positively related to whether the first prescription include BZD or not,patients' insomnia on first visit,the duration of follow-up and the dose of BZD,which showed significantly difference (P＜ 0.05 ).The standardized rates of long-term use of BZD and dependence in research group were significantly higher than those in control group (P ＜ 0.01 ).Conclusion Prescribing BZD on the first visit is partly responsible for the long-term use of BZD and doctors should better be very careful of prescribing BZD on first visit.

Objective To explore the effects of ligustrazine (TMP) on acute drug -induced free radical for-mation in guinea pig cochlear ,and to explore possible mechanisms of TMP on gentamycin(GM)-induced ototoxici-ty .Methods Sixty guinea pigs were randomly divided into four groups ,control group ,GM group ,TMP group and TMP+GM group .GM group were injected with GM 120 mg/kg per day .TMP group were injected with TMP 40 mg/kg per day .TMP+GM group were injected with GM and TMP at the same dosage .Control group were injected with normal saline .All groups were injected for consecutive 10 days .Before injection and one day after the last injec-tion ,ABR thresholds were measured .Biochemical assays of Superoxide Dismutase (SOD1 ,SOD2 ,T -SOD) activity and ma1ondia1dehyde(MDA) content in guinea pig cochlear were detected by TBA .Results After the injection , ABR thresholds in GM group were significantly increased compared with those of in control group (P<0 .01) ,with significant difference between GM +TMP and GM group(P<0 .01) .Before and after the experiment ,ABR thresholds in control group were almost unchanged(P>0 .05) .SOD activity was significantly decreased while MDA content was increased in cochlear tissues after GM injection (P<0 .05) .Co -treatment with TMP evidently enhanced SOD activity and decreased MDA content (P<0 .05) .Conclusion TMP may enhance SOD activity and prevent lipid per-oxidation ,thus alleviate GM ototoxicity ,and improve auditory function .
