Objective To discuss nursing of patients with early severe acute pancreatitis undergoing laparoscopic treatment and in comparison with open surgery. Methods Totally 56 patients with early se-vere acute pancreatitis were admitted from October 2002 to October 2007,among which 30 cases (group A) received laparoscopic.treatment and the other 26 cases (group B) was given open surgery.The average time of hospital stay,incidence of complication and re-operation were compared between the two groups. Re-sults The average time of hospital stay,incidence of complication and re-operation of group A were lower than those of group B (P<0.05). Conclusions Treatment of severe acute pancreatitis with laparoscopy proved to be a desirable method in that it performs good effect with little trauma and low fatality.Other basic treatment,regulation of water and electrolyte balance and acid-base balance,enforcement of nutritional sup-port,fasting and gastrointestinal decompression should not be ignored.

Objective To investigate the expression and significance of YB -1 in serum and endometrial tis-sues in patients with endometriosis ( EMs ) for taking YB -1 EMs as an index of early diagnosis and treatment . Methods ELISAwas adopted to detect YB -1 expressions in serum of EMs group and control group .The expression of YB-1 in endometrial tissue in the EMs group and control group was detected by immunohistochemistry SP method . Results The average concentration of YB -1 in serum of EMs group (14.65 ±3.91 ug/L) was higherthan thatin the control group (9.64 ±2.37 ug/L), with statistically significant differences (p<0.05).The results of immuno-histochemistry showed that the expression of YB -1 was moderately positive in endometria of patients with EMs . Weakly positive expressions of YB -1 were detected in a fewcases of the control group .There are significant differ-ences in the positive expression rates of YB -1 between two groups ( p <0.05).Conclusion The expression of YB-1 in serum and endometria of patients with EMs is higher .YB-1 can not only be an intracellular marker , but also expected to become an ideal serological marker .

Objective To explore the nursing effects of self-care body posture in patients after modified radical mastectomy. Methods The clinical data of 102 patients with modified radical mastectomy were randomly divided into the study group and the control group, all patients met the following standard:clear consciousness, effective communication, no paralysis of limbs, no fracture. In the study group, according to Orem"self-care theory" concept, patients carried out self-care body posture with mainly focus on self-emancipated and the body center of gravity position, in the control group patients were given traditional posture care with mainly emancipated assistance. The first time getting out-of-bed, the occurrence of various complications, the comfort level of emancipation and posture, as well as nursing satisfaction on the first day after surgery were observed and compared between the two groups. Results The two groups showed significant difference in the first time out-of-bed, anxiety, the comfort level of emancipation and posture, as well as nursing satisfaction. There was no significant difference between the two groups in dizziness, limb swelling, flap effusion, flap necrosis. No pressure ulcer occurred. Conclusions Making use of self-care body posture in patients after modified radical mastectomy can improve the satisfaction and comfort of the patients, and improve the patients' recovery, without increasing the complication, which is worth promoting.

AIM: To observe the effects of hypoxia on the levels of nitric oxide (NO), endothelin (ET-1) and the expression of inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) mRNA in human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs), and further investigate the mechanism of hypoxic pulmonary hypertension. METHODS: On the basis of the HUVECs culture model, the methods of nitrate reductase and radioimmunoassay were used to determine the changes of NO and ET-1 in the medium secreted by HUVECs, and the expression of iNOS mRNA was analyzed by semi quantitative RT-PCR after exposure to hypoxia (3% O_2) for 6, 12 or 24 h. Objective To investigate the effect of general nursing intervention on the mental state of the patients with breast cancer undergoing chemotherapy.Methods Forty-eight breast cancer patients undergoing postoperative chemotherapy received nursing general interventions including healthy education,psychological nursing care,pantosomatous,relaxation therapy and rehabilitative exercise. All patients were evaluated by self-rating depression scale (SDS) and depression status inventory (DSI) before and after the general intervention.Result The scores of SDS and DSI after intervention were significantly lower than those before intervention (bothP<0.05).Conclusion The general nursing intervention could significantly improve patients’ psychological state and life quality,promote rehabilitation and improve their quality of life.

Objective To investigate the effect of aspirin on the incidence of thromboembolism in hypertensive patients associated with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation.MethodsFour hundred hypertensive patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (mean age 59 years) free of thromboembolic events were randomized assigned to receive aspirin (0.3 g/d) or placebo. AIM: This study was conducted to evaluate the bone repairing ability of coral artificial bone(CAB) composite of human recombinant bone morphogenetic protein-2(rhBMP-2-CAB) implanted into extraction sockets. METHODS: 12 adult dogs served as the experimental animals. Immediately after extraction of the upper second and third incisors, rhBMP-2-CAB and CAB were respectively implanted into each site of extraction sockets. The bone repairing ability of the two grafts was analyzed with histology, image analysis system and radionuclide bone imagining at 4th, 8th and 12th week, respectively.
