1.Proteomics research in defecting tumors of digestive system
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(05):-
With the quick development revelant techniques, proteomics is a very active subject in modern biological fields. The key techniques of proteomics are two dimensional electrophoresis, mass spectrometry and bioinformatics. From the new point of view, proteomics may play a vital role in the early detection of neoplasm by looking for tumor specific protein and elucidating the relationship between the change of expression and different phases of tumorigenesis. The article briefly review the relevant technique, strategy and application for the early diagnosis of in digestive system tumors.
2.Role of relaxin in heart disease and therapeutic potential
Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University(Medical Sciences) 1981;0(02):-
Following a brief introduction of relaxin family members, receptors and related signalling pathways,we review effects of relaxin on cardiovascular system, particularly, its anti-fibrotic action. The heart and vessels are target organs of relaxin.Recent studies have documented that the relaxin genes are upregulated in the diseased heart of humans and experimental animals. In several animal disease models, relaxin can reverse cardiac fibrosis.Relaxin may also indirectly promote myocardial regeneration and repair by suppressing fibrotic healing.Further research needs to focus on elucidating the exact mechanisms utilized by relaxin to induce these cardiac actions and translation of experimental findings to novel therapy of cardiovascular disease.
3.EB Virus Infection and the Incubated Diseases in TCM
Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2007;0(01):-
After exploring the incubated diseases in TCM theory and its developed courses,we put forward its core point. In the same time, after analyzing the EB virus infection disease, including its causes, the syndrome characters and the immunocompetence, thus we put forward the theory, such as "the EB virus infection is incubated diseases in TCM and its therapeutic principle is concept of viewing the situation as a whole".
4.A meta-analysis of the relation of polymorphism at the sites-1082,-592 and -819 of IL-10 gene promoter with the susceptibility to hepatitis B virus infection
Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 2001;0(09):-
0.05).However,the presence of TC genotype was significantly associated with an increased risk of HBV infection(P0.05).Conclusions The presence of GG genotype at the site-1082 and CC genotype at the site-819 are significantly associated with decreased risk of HBV infection, while the presence of TC genotype at the site-819 is associated with an increased risk of HBV infection. The presence of other genotypes and the frequencies of all the alleles are not associated with the risk of HBV infection.
5.Updated clinicopathology of Castleman's disease
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(10):-
Castleman's disease(CD),known as giant lymph node hyperplasia,is a rare lymphoproliferative disorder, whose etiology has not been definitively established.Clinically CD is categorized into unicentric and multicentric, and histologically, subdivided into three subtypes, hyaline vascular variant, plasma cell variant and mixed variant.Different variants usually require inconsistent therapeutic measures and have different prognoses. The present paper gives an overview of the pathogenesis, treatment and prognosis of CD,with emphasis on the stroma-rich variant,a special subtype of CD of the hyaline vascular variant.
6.Application of fluorescence in situ hybridization in the diagnosis of solid tumors
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2004;0(02):-
Fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) is a non-radioactive technique by use of fluorescently labeled DNA probes in detecting chromosomal alterations in cells. As a new molecular cytological method, it can detect various types of cytogenetic alterations, including deletion, amplification and translocation, as well as improve the accuracy of pathological diagnosis if combined with histomorphology. This review focuses on the application of FISH to the detection of some solid tumors.
7.Detection and Susceptibility to Antibiotics of Mycoplasma in Genitourinary Tract
Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology 2009;0(17):-
OBJECTIVE To investigate the infection status and antibiotic susceptibility of Mycoplasma in our area,so as to instruct the rational use of antibiotics.METHODS Genitourinary secretions were collected with swabs. They were cultured with the diagnostic kit of Mycoplasma(Biomerieux Company).Meanwhile the susceptibility of Mycoplasma against 9 antimicrobial agents was tested with the same kit.According to the instrnction of the kit,the results were read. The data were statistically analyzed.RESULTS A total of 382 samples were collected, and the positive rate was 44.8%.which were composed by Uu 69.6%,Mh2.9%,and Uu+Mh infection 8.8% and low titer Uu+Mh infection 18.7%.The result of drug sensitivity showed that sensitivity of Mycoplasma to pristinamycin PRI,86.5% was the highest, then was to JOS(84.8%)and CIP(26.3%).CONCLUSIONS Ureaplasma urealyticum is the major cause of infection in genitourinary system. It shows serious resistance to commonly used antibiotics.Sensitive antibiotics should be selected based on the results of bacterial culture and drug sensitivity tests so as to raise the clinical curative effects.
8.Survey and analysis of community healtfa service institutions across the country
Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 2001;0(08):-
A survey and analysis were conducted at the end of 2002 of urban community health service institutions in 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government so as to find out about the basie situation of community health service institutions across the country. The result indicated that by the end of 2002, the number of cities that had conducted community health service work reached 358. The coverage of community health services in cities of the prefecture level, areas under the jurisdiction of a city and cities of the county level was respectively 92. 1%, 80. 3% and 28.0% . 12 132 community health service institutions were set up in 2002, marking an increase of 31.6% as compared with 2001. The growth of community health services was fast and yet uneven in various regions. It is suggested that more efforts be made to strengthen community health services in medium-sized and small cities and improve the management of institutions and the system for statistical analysis of in-formation.
9.Advances in the study on association of Wnt-5a with tumor
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(07):-
Wnt gene family has been shown to encode the multifunctional signaling glycoproteins that are involved in the regulation of a wide variety of normal and pathologic processes, including embriogenesis, differentiation, and tumorigenesis.Recent studies have demonstrated that the Wnt-5a expression is frequently deregulated in various human cancers, which suggested that Wnt5a shuld be a good marker for progression and prognosis of tumor, but the role of Wnt-5a is controversial in different tumors. Here,we assemble evidence of possible relations between Wnt and various tumors.
10.Research advances on immunomolecules and genes related to gastric cancer invasion and metastasis
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(08):-
Gastric cancer is a malignant tumor with high incidence and mortality in China.Invasion and metastasis of carcinotissue is one of the main reasons for the death of patients with gastric cancer. The mechanism of gastric cancer invasion and metastasis is very complicated, containing several immunomolecules and genes.Up-or down-regulated expression of these molecules in gastric cancer invasion and metastasis means that these immunomolecules and genes play some important roles in generation and progression of gastric cancer. In this review,we introduced the structure and function of these immunomolecules and genes, and their action during the course of gastric cancer invasion and metastasis.
