Homocysteine(Hcy) is a kind of sulphur-containing amino acid, the intermediate product of the methionine metabolism. It has been shown that hyperhomocysteinemia(HHcy) is a new, indispensable and independent risk factor of atherosclerosis and thrombus diseases by many epidemiological studies, but the mechanism is still not clear. We reviewed the research progress on HHcy causative factor, its relation with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, the mechanism of its resulting in atherosclerosis, to provide evidence for formulating reasonable schedule of treatment.

With the development of coronary artery recanalization technology,more and more attention are paid to myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury.PPAR-? is distributed in rat myocardium.Besides insulin sensitizing effect,the ligands of PPAR-? can also exert its protective effects by inhibiting cell inflammatory response and apoptosis.In this review,the author summarized the research advances of the protective effects of the ligands PPAR-? on myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury.

Wnt gene family has been shown to encode the multifunctional signaling glycoproteins that are involved in the regulation of a wide variety of normal and pathologic processes,including embriogenesis,differentiation,and tumorigenesis.Recent studies have demonstrated that the Wnt-5a expression is frequently deregulated in various human cancers,which suggested that Wnt5a shuld be a good marker for progression and prognosis of tumor,but the role of Wnt-5a is controversial in different tumors.Here,we assemble evidence of possible relations between Wnt and various tumors.

The indications for patients with Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS) to receive allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (Allo-HCT) are:intermediate risk-2 and high risk groups according to IPSS,and intermediate risk-1 group with poor karyotype,severe multilineage cytopenia or infusion-dependent.Constant follow-up and evaluation is important for therapeutic decision.Unrelated or related haploidentical donor could be an alternative in case of absence of identical sibling donor.Remission through chemotherapy before the transplantation is recommended in patients with advanced MDS who receive reduced-intensity conditioning.Demethylation drugs followed by Allo-HCT do not show additional transplantation-related toxicity,whose efficiency remains to be determined.

Objective To analyze the epidemical distribution of intestinal nematode infections in Jiangsu Province in recent 30 years,so as to provide the evidence for improving prevention and control of intestinal nematodiasis in the future. Methods The literature related to intestinal nematode infections in Jiangsu Province from 1984 to 2012 was searched and the infection data in them were sorted and analyzed. Results A total of 26 papers were obtained. In the recent 30 years,the infection rates of Trich-uris trichiura,Ascaris lumbricoides and hookworm in Jiangsu Province decreased gradually,but the infection levels in northern Ji-angsu were higher than those in central and southern Jiangsu. In northern and central of Jiangsu Province,the descent speed of the intestinal nematode infection levels was faster before 2000,and then it slowed down after 2000. In southern Jiangsu,the descent speed of the infection level of A. lumbricoides was the fastest,but the infection level of T. trichiura with slight fluctuation kept rela-tively steady. From 1984 to 1989,the infection rates of the 3 intestinal nematodes above-mentioned in all age groups were high, and those of T. trichiura and A. lumbricoides were above 20%and 30%,respectively,and the infection rates of hookworm in mid-dle aged and elderly populations were relatively high. From 1990 to 2000,the infection rates of A. lumbricoides in children and teenager as well as that of hookworm in the people aged from 40 to 70 years were high,but those of T. trichiura and A. lumbricoides in the people above 70 years old were low. During the period of 2001 to 2012,the middle aged and elderly population and children were still the high-risk groups of hookworm and A. lumbricoides infections,respectively. Conclusions In the recent 30 years,the infection rates of intestinal nematodes in Jiangsu Province have decreased year by year,but the infection levels in northern Jiangsu are still higher than those in central and southern Jiangsu,which means that the northern Jiangsu is the key area of intestinal nema-todiasis control. Meanwhile,the A. lumbricoides infection rate of children and T. trichiura infection rate of the middle aged and el-derly population are high,which suggests that the control should put emphasis on the key population.

Objective To investigate the expression of thymosin beta4 ( Tβ4 ) in the liver tissues of children with hepatoblastoma ( HB) , and further study the function of Tβ4 in HB metastasis in vitro. Methods Immunohisto-chemistry (IHC) was used to determine expression of Tβ4, E-cadherin andβ-catenin in liver tissues from 19 chil-dren with HB,and further to analyze its function in metastasis of HB cells. Results The positive rate of Tβ4 ( P<0.01 ) in HB liver tissues was significantly higher than it in the adjacent tissues. The positive rates of Tβ4 and nu-clearβ-catenin in HB with lymphnode metastasis were significantly higher than in HB without lymphnode metastasis ( P <0.01 ) . While expression of E-cadherin in HB with lymphnode metastasis was lower than in HB without lymphnode metastasis ( P<0.01 ) . Scratch-wound assay showed that HepG2 cells with Tβ4 knockdown had signifi-cantly lower metastatic ability (P<0.05). Conclusion Tβ4 plays an important role in HB metastasis, suggesting it is a potential target for HB metastasis.

A survey and analysis were conducted at the end of 2002 of urban community health service institutions in 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government so as to find out about the basie situation of community health service institutions across the country. The result indicated that by the end of 2002, the number of cities that had conducted community health service work reached 358. The coverage of community health services in cities of the prefecture level, areas under the jurisdiction of a city and cities of the county level was respectively 92. 1%, 80. 3% and 28.0% . 12 132 community health service institutions were set up in 2002, marking an increase of 31.6% as compared with 2001. The growth of community health services was fast and yet uneven in various regions. It is suggested that more efforts be made to strengthen community health services in medium-sized and small cities and improve the management of institutions and the system for statistical analysis of in-formation.

This paper proposes a falling detection system based on MPU6050 senor. The system consists of a MPU6050 sensor, a STM32 MCU and a set of Bluetooth 4.0 device: collecting and parsing the falling data, transferring the result to a smartphone, the smartphone: receiving the result, alarming the elder's family and hospital. This paper presentes a new judging algorithm based on the threshold of three-axis acceleration and angle deviation of body, in order to differentiate AF and normal daily activity. The result proves that the accuracy of the system is higher than 95%, which strongly highlight the robustness and reliability.

Objective To investigate the influencing factors on thrombin time (TT) assay to ensure the accuracy of the detection results.Methods Totally 3 out-and in-patients from January to July 2015 with normal results of prothrombin time (PT),activated partial clotting enzyme live time (APTT) and fibrinogen (FIB) were selected,whose detection results were not satisfactory.The specimen underwent re-centrifugation,and then Beckman ACL TOP700 automatic coagulation analyzer was used to detect four coagulation indexes.The detection results were compared with those before re-centrifugation,and the differences between the results were analyzed statically.Results The values of PT,APTT and FIB of the three patients before and after re-centrifugation were (10.8,11.5,9.7 s),(29.5,32.7,25.2 s),(2.49,3.12,2.85 g/L) and (10.9,11.3,10.0 s),(30.4,31.5,25.9 s),(2.31,3.28,2.67 g/L) respectively,and the differences between the results were not significant (with t ranging from 0.627 to 1.719 and P＞0.05).The values of TT of the three patients before and after re-centrifugation were (66.51,127.3,89.62 s) and (12.2,15.7,13.8 s) respectively,and there were obvious differences between the values (with t ranging from 51.743 to 79.167 and P＜0.001).Conclusion Insufficient centrifugation has high influences on the detection result of TT except other coagulation indexes,and re-centrifugation is necessary for the accuracy of TT value to eliminate misdiagnosis.
