2.Development of clinical and basic research in gynecological oncology
China Oncology 2006;0(11):-
With the emergence of new concepts, methods and techniques in modern medicine, the basic research and clinical treatment for gynecological oncology has rapidly developed in the past couple of years. Evidence-based medicine, individualized therapy and microinvasive therapy give us more opportunities to treat the patient. Nowadays, it is possible for the clinic to implement new approaches to improve the outcome and the quality of life for the patients with minimal side effects at the same time. There has been a lot of reports from in vitro studies suggesting that gonadotrophin may play an important role in tumorigenesis, estrogen may promote tumor cell proliferation through PAX2 gene. Survivin, a protein serving as an apoptosis inhibitor, may be crucial for the regulation of tumor cell proliferation and apoptosis.
3.EFFECTS OF AGAR-OLIGOSACCHARIDES ON BLOOD GLUCOSE LEVEL AND OXIDATION-ANTIOXIDATION STATUS OF DIABETIC MICE
Acta Nutrimenta Sinica 1956;0(02):-
Objective:To evaluate the effect of agar-oliogsaccharides (mainly containing agarobiose) on blood glucose level and oxidation-antioxidation status in alloxan-induced diabetic mice. Method: The inhibitory activity of agarobiose on ?-glucosidase was investigated. Alloxan was used to establish non-obese diabetic (NOD) mice model. After 14 d administration of agarobiose, blood glucose, MDA, SOD, GSH and GSH-Px levels were determined. Results:Agarobiose showed inhibitory activity on ?-glucosidase with IC50=1.39 mg/ml, Ki=0.52 mg/ml. In a certain concentration (200-400 mg/kg bw), agaro-oligosaccha- rides reduced the blood glucose level remarkably, and the oxidative indices were also improved in heart, liver, lung and brain. The blood glucose level (P

Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2016;23(2):182-184
Objective To compare heparin binding protein (HBP)and procalcitonin(PCT)in the evalua-tion of in prognosis of patients with sepsis in ICU.Methods 80 sepsis patients were selected.According to the sever-ity of the disease, they were divided into general sepsis group (n =31),severe sepsis group (n =29)and death group (n =20).The differences of HBP and PCT in three groups were compared. Results Compared with HBP and PCT in the general sepsis group[(3.91 ±0.36)ng/mL,(1.26 ±0.35)ng/mL)],PCT of the severe sepsis group (11.81 ± 0.54)ng/mL was significantly increased(F =2 777.87,P =0.000);HBP and PCT of the death group[(15.28 ± 1.21 )ng/mL,(36.68 ±0.36)ng/mL)]were significantly increased compared with the general sepsis and severe sep-sis groups (F =49 789.02,P =0.000).Conclusion The sensitivity of PCT was significantly higher than HBP in the groups,PCT was better in judging the prognosis of sepsis.
5.The clinical study on etiology and diagnostic procedures of hemoptysis in children
Chinese Pediatric Emergency Medicine 2016;23(3):172-177
Objective The purpose of the study was to investigate the causes of hemoptysis and ex-plore the diagnostic procedures for hemoptysis in children. Methods The medical records of 42 children with hemoptysis admitted to the Respiratory Department of Hunan Children′s Hospital from June 2012 to June 2015 were collected by a retrospective study. The causes of hemoptysis were classified by pathogenesis, and the diagnosis of hemoptysis was evaluated in this study. The final diagnosis was divided into clear diagnosis and the cause was unknown. Results A total of 41(97. 6%) cases were diagnosed,1(2. 4%) case was not diagnosed. In 42 cases of hemoptysis, infection was the main cause of the disease, including 8(19. 0%) cases of pneumonia and 5(11. 9%) cases of bronchitis, and the following causes were bronchial artery fistula(10/42,23. 8%),idiopathic pulmonary hemosiderosis(8/42,19. 0%),bronchiectasis(5/42,11. 9%),pulmonary vascular malformation with pulmonary hypertension(3/42,7. 2%),pulmonary tuberculosis(2. 4%),bronchi-al foreign body(1/42,2. 4%) respectively. Thirteen cases of respiratory tract infection, and 5 cases of bron-chiectasis were diagnosed by chest CT,10 cases with pulmonary artery fistula were diagnosed by digital sub-traction angiography,8 cases of pulmonary hemosiderosis,1 case of pulmonary tuberculosis, and 1 case with bronchial foreign body were diagnosed by fiberoptic bronchoscopy. Three cases of pulmonary vascular malfor-mation and pulmonary hypertension were diagnosed by row helical CT angiography and cardiac color ultra-sound. Conclusion Hemoptysis in children is a heterogeneous group of respiratory disorders. Most causes could be identified by using the diagnostic procedures. Other factors, including medical history, CT, fiber bronchoscopy, multidetector CT angiography, cardiac color ultrasound and digital subtraction angiography, play important roles in the diagnosis of hemoptysis in children.
6.Study on time, spatial and population distribution of intestinal nematode in-fections in Jiangsu Province in recent 30 years
Chinese Journal of Schistosomiasis Control 2014;(3):316-319
Objective To analyze the epidemical distribution of intestinal nematode infections in Jiangsu Province in recent 30 years,so as to provide the evidence for improving prevention and control of intestinal nematodiasis in the future. Methods The literature related to intestinal nematode infections in Jiangsu Province from 1984 to 2012 was searched and the infection data in them were sorted and analyzed. Results A total of 26 papers were obtained. In the recent 30 years, the infection rates of Trich-uris trichiura,Ascaris lumbricoides and hookworm in Jiangsu Province decreased gradually, but the infection levels in northern Ji-angsu were higher than those in central and southern Jiangsu. In northern and central of Jiangsu Province, the descent speed of the intestinal nematode infection levels was faster before 2000,and then it slowed down after 2000. In southern Jiangsu, the descent speed of the infection level of A. lumbricoides was the fastest, but the infection level of T. trichiura with slight fluctuation kept rela-tively steady. From 1984 to 1989,the infection rates of the 3 intestinal nematodes above-mentioned in all age groups were high, and those of T. trichiura and A. lumbricoides were above 20%and 30%,respectively,and the infection rates of hookworm in mid-dle aged and elderly populations were relatively high. From 1990 to 2000,the infection rates of A. lumbricoides in children and teenager as well as that of hookworm in the people aged from 40 to 70 years were high, but those of T. trichiura and A. lumbricoides in the people above 70 years old were low. During the period of 2001 to 2012,the middle aged and elderly population and children were still the high-risk groups of hookworm and A. lumbricoides infections, respectively. Conclusions In the recent 30 years, the infection rates of intestinal nematodes in Jiangsu Province have decreased year by year, but the infection levels in northern Jiangsu are still higher than those in central and southern Jiangsu, which means that the northern Jiangsu is the key area of intestinal nema-todiasis control. Meanwhile, the A. lumbricoides infection rate of children and T. trichiura infection rate of the middle aged and el-derly population are high, which suggests that the control should put emphasis on the key population.
