1.Expression and significance of Wnt11 in kidney

Wnt signaling pathways is a hot focus in recent years,which plays important regulatory roles in cell proliferation,differentiation and migration.Wnt signaling pathways include classical Wnt signaling pathways and non classical Wnt signaling pathways.Wnt11 is a very important signal molecule in the nonclassical WNT signaling pathways and kidney development,which plays a positive regulatory effect in the development of kidney and become silent in mature kidney.Studies have shown that Wnt11 re-express in the renal fibrosis.This paper discusses the function of the Wnt11 in kidney development and the relationship between Wnt11 and renal fibrosis.
2.Distribution of pathogens and drug resistance of puerperal infection in 41 twin pregnancies

Objective The distribution and drug resistance of pathogenic bacteria of the twin pregnancy with puerperal infection were analyzed.Methods 41 twin pregnancy cases with puerperal infection were screened out and the clinical data were retrospectively analyzed.Results A total of 48 main pathogenic bacteria were detected,including 21 Gram-positive bacteria:9 Staphylococcus aureus (18.8%),7 Streptococcus hemolyticus (14.6%) and 5 Enterococcus faecalis (10.4%);27 Gram-negative bacteria:12 Escherichia coli (25.0%),8 Aerogenic Enterobacter (16.7%) and 7 Gardnerella vaginalis (14.6%).Drug resistance:3 kinds of Gram-positive bacteria were strongly resistant to ceftazidime,and were sensitive to piperacillin sulbactam.Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus hemolytic streptococcus were sensitive to clindamycin,and Enterococcus faecalis was strongly resistant to penicillin.3 kinds of Gram-negative bacteria were sensitive to gentamicin and were strongly resistant to ampicillin and cefazolin.Escherichia coli and Enterobacteriaceae were sensitive to cefepime,and Gardnerella vaginalis were sensitive to levofloxacin,and were strongly resistant to cefepime.The main pathogenic bacteria were sensitive to meropenem and vancomycin.Conclusions According to the distribution and drug resistance of pathogens,we should rationally choose antimicrobial agents to prevent and cure puerperal infection of twin pregnancy.
3.Significance of shock index in guiding first aid and nursing care of patients with severe trauma complicated with hemorrhagic shock in emergency surgery

Objective:To evaluate the clinical significance of emergency surgical application shock index in patients with severe trauma complicated with hemorrhagic shock and its guiding first aid nursing.Methods:A total of 52 patients from the First Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University with severe trauma complicated and hemorrhagic shock were divided into observation group and control group (each group with 26 cases) according to stratified random sampling method. The patients in the control group received the corresponding routine nursing measures, and the observation group carried out evaluating the severity of the condition by shock index based on the corresponding emergency nursing measures. The emergency time, consultation time, prognosis and the nursing satisfaction of the two groups were compared.Results:The emergency time, consultation time were (30.1 ± 3.7), (2.7 ± 0.7) min in the observation group and (39.6 ± 4.2), (3.8 ± 0.9) min in the control group, the differences were statistically significant ( t values were 8.097, 5.149, P<0.01). The cure rate was 73.1%(19/26) and effective rate was 15.4% (4/26) in the observation group, those index was 57.7% (15/26) and 23.1% (6/26) in the control group, the difference was statistically significant ( Z value was 2.969, P<0.01). The high nursing satisfaction was 65.4% (17/26) and nursing satisfaction was 26.9% (7/26) in the observation group, while 30.8% (8/26) and 53.8% (14/26) in the control group, the difference was statistically significant ( Z value was 2.493, P<0.05). Conclusions:Applying shock index to evaluate the corresponding nursing measures can shorten the time of emergency and separate diagnosis, and improve the overall nursing effect of emergency surgery.
4.Relationship between serum protein kinase Cε activity and insulin resistance in elderly patients with concurrent type 2 diabetes mellitus and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease

Objective:To investigate the association of serum protein kinase Cε(PKCε)activity with insulin resistance in elderly patients with concurrent type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD).Methods:Clinical data of 229 patients with T2DM admitted to the Department of Geriatric Endocrinology of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University from October 2017 to October 2018 were retrospectively analyzed.Patients were divided into the T2DM group(T2DM patients without NAFLD, n=112)and the T2DM+ NAFLD group(T2DM patients with NAFLD, n=117). Healthy elderly subjects who underwent physical examination during the same period served as the control group(n=110). Clinical data and laboratory results were compared between the three groups.Serum PKCεactivity was measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, and the correlation between serum PKCεactivity and insulin resistance was analyzed statistically.Results:Serum PKCεactivity and HOMA-IR were higher in the T2DM+ NAFLD group than in the T2DM group and the control group[PKCε: (195.5±62.1) μg/L vs.(188.7±61.2 )μg/L and (89.1±20.2 )μg/L, F=9.76, P=0.010; HOMA-IR: 12.5±7.9 vs. 14.1±5.7 and 5.8±4.1, F=10.21, P=0.010]. Pearson correlation analysis revealed that serum PKCεactivity, HOMA-IR and TG were positively correlated with T2DM+ NAFLD( r=0.339, P=0.01; r=0.305, P=0.01; r=0.329, P=0.01)and that serum PKCεactivity was positively correlated with HOMA-IR and triglyceride( r=0.339, 0.305 and 0.329, P=0.01). Logistic regression analysis showed that serum PKCε activity, HOMA-IR and triglycerides were risk factors in the T2DM+ NAFLD group, and the regression coefficients were 0.849, 0.022 and 0.710, respectively.Increased serum PKCεactivity was an independent influencing factor for T2DM+ NAFLD. Conclusions:Elevated serum PKCεactivity is positively correlated with insulin resistance in elderly T2DM patients with NAFLD.Reducing serum PKCεactivity and improving insulin sensitivity will help to delay or reverse the development of T2DM and NAFLD.

Objective To prepare a kind of lipid nanoparticle ultrasound contrast agents with the ability to target to viable myocardium for diagnosis . Methods T he agent was a biotinylated ,fluorescent‐labelled ,lipid‐coated , liquid perfluorocarbon emulsion . Physico‐chemical properties of the agent were measured ,including size distribution ,Zeta Potential ,concentration and so on . Ischemia‐reperfusion models were created in rats ,and then exposed to biotinylated anti‐MCP‐1 monoclonal antibody ,rhodamine avidin and biotinylated ,FITC‐labelled nanoparticles ,respectively . Echocardiography was taken before and after injection . Frozen sections of their hearts were observed under fluorescence microscope . Results T he particle diameter ,zeta potential and concentration of lipid nanoparticles were ( 172 .30 ± 52 .06) nm ,( -33 .10 ± 6 .50) mV and ( 2 .28 ± 0 .46 ) × 1011/ml ,respectively . From the short‐axis view ,the myocardium under endocardium of anterior wall was enhanced obviously . While myocardium of other walls were still . T he lipid nanoparticles located in the myocardium of anterior wall and gave out bright green and red fluorescence under fluorescence microscope ,w hile neither lipid nanoparticles nor fluorescence were found in other sites of ventricular myocardium . Conclusions The viable myocardium can be targeted and acoustically enhanced by the self‐made nano‐scale ultrasound contrast agent . T his new agent has potential to improve sensitivity and specificity for noninvasive identifying viable myocardium .
6.Decision tree analysis of pelvic MRI in diagnosis of endometrial cancer with ovarian malignant tumor

Objective To explore the value of pelvic MRI combined with clinical information in diagnosis of endometrial cancer (EC) with ovarian malignant tumor (OMT) using decision tree analysis.Methods The clinical information and pelvic MRI characteristics of 58 cases with ovarian malignant tumor (EC-OMT group) and 743 cases without ovarian malignant tumor (EC group) were reviewed and compared.The diagnostic efficacy of pelvic MRI was evaluated.Decision tree analysis was used in determining the performance on the diagnosis.Results In EC-OMT group,the depth of myometrial invasion,the frequency of cervical and cornua uteri involvement,adnexal mass,pelvic or para-aortic lymph nodes involvement and peritoneum metastasis were higher than those in EC group (all P<0.01).Para-uterine involvement showed no significant difference between two groups (1.72% vs 0.40%,P=0.26).In diagnosis of EC with OMT,the sensitivity and specificity value of MRI was 51.72% (30/58) and 99.87% (742/743),respectively.Cornua uteri involvement,adnexal mass and CA125 level were screened as helpful indicators for pre-operation diagnosis by decision tree,and the sensitivity was 89.66% (52/58).Conclusion The diagnosis model of pelvic MRI combined with clinical information by using decision tree analysis can promote sensitivity in diagnosis of EC with OMT.
7.Material compatibility of human albumin

【Objective】 To investigate the compatibility of human albumin and its internal packaging materials of Sinopharm Lanzhou Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd. 【Methods】 One batch of inner packaging materials (medium borosilicate glass-molded injection bottle and halogenated butyl rubber plug for injection) was extracted with 4 extraction solvents to conduct the toxicological evaluation of potential inner packaging extracts. Through the simulated acceleration test, the trend analysis of the elements in the sample and the inner surface of the glass bottle were observed, and the routine drug inspection items during the long-term stability test process were determined. 【Results】 The detection results of the leaching elements of the internal packaging materials did not exceed the limit of 50%, and the organic matter safety threshold (margin of safety, MOS) was greater than 1.0, indicating that both the leaching elements and the organic matter had no safety risk to the user under the current exposure. The results of the simulated acceleration test show that the drug will not have the risk of peeling tablets after the long-term stability condition was placed for a period of time, and the routine inspection items of the long-term stability test drugs all meet the requirements of the pharmacopoeia. 【Conclusion】 The inner packaging material has no significant impact on the quality of drugs and has good overall compatibility, making it suitable for packaging human albumin.
8. Genotypes and molecular characterization of group A rotavirus in domestic sewage in Yantai, 2014-2016

Objective:
To understand the genotype distribution and molecular epidemiological characteristics of the group A rotavirus (RVA) in domestic sewage, and further explore the importance of environmental surveillance in investigating RVA regional circulation.
Methods:
Sewage samples were collected monthly in the city of Yantai from January 2014 to December 2016. After concentration, total RNA was extracted, and RVA VP7 and VP4 coding regions were amplified via RT-PCR. PCR products were purified, cloned and Sanger sequenced. Genotyping and phylogenetic analysis was conducted based on the sequences.
Results:
Thirty-six sewage samples were collected and 86.1% was positive with VP7 and VP4 sequences. A total of 205 VP7 and 239 VP4 nucleotide sequences were obtained, belonging to 4 G genotypes and 6 P genotypes. Among these, G9 (95.6%, 196/205), P[8] (58.6%, 140/239) and P[4] (28.0%, 67/239) were the most common genotypes. Phylogenetic analysis for G9, P[8] and P[4] sequences revealed co-circulation of multiple transmission chains in local population.
Conclusions
This study describes the genotype distribution and sequence characteristics of local RVA in Shandong province, and the result demonstrate that surveillance on environmental sewage is an effective way in investigating RVA molecular epidemiology.

【Objective】 To explore the recruitment and retention strategy of blood donors by investigating the age composition of blood donors in some areas of China, so as to promote blood donation and enhance clinical blood supply. 【Methods】 Through the working platform of Practice Comparison Working Group of China’s Mainland Blood Collection and Supply Institutions, the average age and age composition of blood donors from 22 blood centers were collected, and statistical analysis was conducted after eliminating invalid data. 【Results】 The median average age of blood donors during the survey year was 30.02.The median age in 2.89% of the blood centers was lower than 25. The average age of different genders was statistically significant only in 2018(P<0.05). Fot first-time blood donors, the median constituent ratio of donors <25 and ≥25 years old was 54.53% and 44.28%, with median retention rate at 10.30% and 9.61%, respectively. The median overall participation rate of blood donors was 2.7%, with median participation rate of blood donors <25 years old at 5.1%. 【Conclusion】 The recruitment and retention of blood donor is crucial to enhance clinical blood supply. Blood donors <25 years old, with a longer period for future donation, should be the main target of blood donation recruitment. Meanwhile, the revision of upper age limit for blood donation is another important initiative to grow the blood donor pool.

To analysis the genotype of Japanese encephalitis virus (JEV) in mosquitoes from Shandong province.
