Objective To investigate the effects and mechanism of nerve growth factor(NGF)on the airway inflammation of asthmatic mice. Methods Male SD rats(n=24)were randomly divided into the control group(group A),the asthmatic group(group B),the anti-NGF group(group C),8 mice in each group. The total cell count and classified count of cells in the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid(BALF)were performed. The pathological changes of the lung tissues were detected by HE staining. The concentrations of IL-4,IFN-? and NGF in BALF were measured by ELISA.The mRNA expression of IL-4,IFN-? and NGF in the lung tissues were detected by RT-PCR.Results Compared with the group A,not only the number of the total cells and classified cells in BALF significantly increased(P0.05).Conclusion NGF may play a key role in the formation of airway inflammation in the asthmatic rats by promoting the secretion of Th2 cytokines.
5.Corrected TIMI frame count after coronary intervention as a predictor of myocardial tissue perfusion in patients with acute myocardial infarction
Chinese Journal of Interventional Cardiology 1996;0(04):-
Objective To study the probability of evaluating myocardial tissue perfusion by corrected TIMI frame count (CTFC) after successful percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) in patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI). Methods Sixty-three patients with their first acute myocardial infarction (AMI) who accepted primary coronary intervention were recruited. All these patients got TIMI 3 grade flow. CTFC was measured after successful PCI in these patients. Wall Motion Score Index (WMSI) assessed by two-dimensional echocardiography before and one month after PCI and the correlation studied between CTFC and WMSI. Results According to CTFC the patients were divided into two groups. Improvement of WMSI in the TIMI 3 fast group was significantly greater than that of the TIMI 3 slow group. CTFC had a significant correlation with the change in WMSI. Elapsed time from the onset of symptoms to reperfusion in the TIMI slow group was significantly longer than that of the TIMI fast group. Conclusion CTFC is a quantitative, and reproducible index of coronary blood flow. Lower CTFC is associated with greater functional recovery and could supply evidence for additional adjunctive treatment.

This article was aimed to study the effect of pinellia combined with prunella vulgarisin of different ratios on the extraction yield of trigonellin and uracil, in order to investigate the changing disciplines and reasonable com-bination of Shuangxia Soup. A Welch Ultimate AQ-C18 column (4.6 mm×250 mm, 5 μm) was used in the study. The mobile phase, consisting of solvent A (water) and solvent B (acetonitrile) was programmed as a linear gradi-ent. The flow rate was 1.0 mL·min-1. And the detection wavelength was 265 nm. The column temperature was 25℃. HPLC was used in the determination of extraction yield of trigonellin and uracil for the comparison among different compatibilities. The results showed that the linearity was achieved in the range of 0.872-4.36 ng for trigonelline, and 10.8-50.4 ng for uracil. The average recoveries were 96.53%-101.48%, with RSD of 0.18%-4.26%. Com-pared with pinellia, the extraction yield of trigonelline was reduced and the extraction yield of uracil was increased after the compatibility. It was concluded that different compatibilities of Shuangxia Soup had effects on the extrac-tion yield of trigonelline and uracil. The best compatibility ratio still requires in-depth study.

Objective To investigate the effect of indomethacin (IND)-loaded micelles on rheumatoid arthritis and its mechanism. Methods Freund’s-induced adjuvant arthritis and carrageenan-induced acute arthritis in SD rats were employed to evaluate the therapeutic effect of IND-loaded polymeric micelles after intraarticuar drug administration. Fifty-six SD rats were randomly divided to receive IND-loaded micelles at a dose of 4.5, 1.5, 0.5 mg/kg respectively, IND injection, oral administration of IND, blank PNIPAm/EAB-PPP-1 micelles at the 8~ th day once a day for a week after subcutaneous injection of 0.1 ml Freund’s into voix pedis of the right hind foot. The normal control rats took normal saline instead of Freund’s. There were 8 rats in each group. Results IND-loaded micelles could inhibit the swollen joint. No rats of intraarticular drug administration developed ulceration. Conclusion The sustained therapeutic efficacy could be achieved through intraarticular injection of IND-loaded micelles. Local delivery of IND can avoid severe gastrointestinal stimulation that frequently results from oral administration of IND.

Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology 2015;33(2):142-148
Background Small incision lenticule extraction (SMILE) is increasingly used for myopia. However, the size of the incision varied in different operators. The influence of 2 mm micro-incision SMILE on postoperative diopter and aberrations is not clear yet. Objective The aim of the current study was to perform a clinical analysis of the efficacy, safety, stability and predictability of 2 mm micro-incision SMILE and investigate the influence of preoperative sphere and cylinder power on postoperative aberrations. Methods A serial cases observational study was carried out under the approval of Ethic Committee of Tianjin Eye Hospital and informed consent of each patient.Fifty-five eyes of 31 subjects with myopia and myopic astigmatism were enrolled in this study in Tianjin Eye Hospital from January to April 2013 and a 2 mm micro-incision SMILE was performed on the eyes.Follow-up visits were performed at 1 week,1 month and 6 months after operation.Uncorrected visual acuity (UCVA),best corrected visual acuity (BCVA),manifest and cycloplegic refraction were examined at each postoperative time points to evaluate the efficacy, safety, stability and predictability of 2 mm micro-incision SMILE.Wave-front aberrations were measured by WaveScan aberrometer.Repeated measurement analysis of variance was used for the comparison of the differences of aberrations before and after the surgery. And the differences between various follow-up visits were compared with LSD-t test. The relationship between preoperative sphere or cylinder power and aberrations postoperatively were analyzed by Spearman rank correlation. Results At 1 week,1 month and 6 months postoperatively, the effective index was 1.2,and the safety indexes were 1.2,1.2 and 1.5 respectively. The spherical equivalent remained 0.00 D at each postoperative time point. And 96.4% and 97.8% of eyes were within ±0.5 D of intend correction and 100% were within ± 1.0 D of the intend correction at 1 month and 6 months postoperatively.Vertical coma (Z7) and spherical aberration (Z12) were significantly raised at 1 week,1 month and 6 months after surgery compared with the values preoperatively (Z7:t =9.668,10.607,9.772,all at P < 0.001 ;Z 12:t =-6.227,-6.923,-7.441,all at P<0.001).The Zernike coefficients were relatively symmetrical between various time points postoperatively (all at P>0.05).Third-order to sixth-order aberrations and higher order abberration (HOA) showed significant increase at various time points after the surgery compared with the values before surgery (all at P<0.05),and no significant differences were seen between various follow-up visits (all at P>0.05).Positive correlations were found between preoperative sphere and S3,S4 and HOA at 1 week,1 month and 6 months postoperatively (P<0.05).Negative correlations were found between preoperative cylinder and S3,S4 and HOA at postoperatively various time points (all at P<0.05).In addition, significant positive correlations were seen between Z7 and preoperative cylinder as well as between Z12 and sphere preoperatively, and negative correlations also were observed between Z7 and preoperative sphere as well as between Z12 and cylinder preoperatively at each follow-up visits(all at P<0.05).Conclusions SMILE with 2 mm micro-incision is a safe, effective, stable and predictable procedure for myopic and myopic astigmatism eyes. The aberrations and Zernike terms remain stable after surgery until 6 months although these parameters present elevation to a certain extent.Preoperative SE and astigmatism power affect postoperative aberrations.
