Our college has applied French-English analogy-educating method ( trilingual education )to the medicinal French bilingual-educating course by means of the interactions of different languages. As the kin relations between English and French in the axea of medicine, as well as their interactions from the origin to the modem medical applications, it can be an effective method to use analogy-educating method in the French study course in medicine, which means that the multi-lingual interactions can be used in the bilingual, even the multi-lingual educating activities of bilinguai educating process of other subjects.

AIM: To investigate the relationship between alteration of CHOP/GADD153 protein expression and cardiomyocyte apoptosis induced by angiotensin Ⅱ (AngⅡ), and inhibitory effects of CHOP/GADD153 antisense oligodeoxynucleotide (anti-ODN) on apoptosis in vitro.METHODS: Cultured neonatal cardiomyocytes were exposed to AngⅡ with or without preincubation of CHOP/GADD153 anti-ODN. Variability of myocytes was measured by MTT assay, the lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) release was also detected, the percentage of annexin V positive myocytes was monitored by flow cytometry as apoptosis rate, CHOP/GADD153, Bcl-2 and Bax expressions were determined by Western blotting. RESULTS: Compared with control group, the expression of CHOP/GADD153 was obviously increased from (0.20?0.02 to 0.75?0.06) in AngⅡ group (P

Objective To investigate the influence of preoperative training of pushing trachea and esophagus or not on cervical operation by anterior approach.Methods All patients were randomly divided into two groups:experimental group and control group (56 cases,respectively).Patients in the former group had no training of pushing trachea and esophagus,while patients in the latter group had,recording the data of surgery duration,operator's degree of satisfaction,blood loss,blood pressure,heart rate,and oxygen saturation during operation,hospital stay and cost.Meanwhile,we observed and compared the VAS scores and the complication rate etc.between two groups.Results There were no differences between two groups in surgery duration,operator's degree of satisfaction,blood loss,blood pressure,heart rate,and oxygen saturation during operation,hospital stay and cost,nor in the VAS scores and the throat-related complications rate.The hospital stay and cost of patients in experimental group were longer and higher than that of patients in control group,(7.3±1.6) d vs (5.8±1.4) d,(48 468.3±4 313.8) vs (45 228.4±4 124.6) yuan,t=5.280,4.062,P＜0.05.Conclusions Training of pushing trachea and esophagus has no influence in the throat-related complications rate,VAS scores and operator's degree of satisfaction.Instead,training of pushing trachea and esophagus increases hospital stay and cost and amount of nurse's work.So,it's not necessary to undertake the preoperative training before cervical operation by anterior.

AIM： To evaluate the role of Na＋/H＋ exchanger-1（NHE-1）in the proliferation and apoptosis of pulmonary artery smooth muscle cells in rats. METHODS: Twenty Wistar rats were equally randomized into the control group and 3-week hypoxic group. Intracellular pH (pHi) of the smooth muscle was determined with fluorescence measurement of the pH-sensitive dye BCECF-AM and the expression of NHE-1 mRNA was detected with RT-PCR. The primary culture of pulmonary artery smooth muscle cell in vitro was performed. In situ cell death detection kit (TUNEL) was used to study the effect of specific NHE-1 inhibitor, dimethyl amiloride (DMA), on the apoptosis of muscle cells which had intracellular acidification. RESULTS: pHi value and expression of NHE-1 mRNA of pulmonary artery smooth muscle cell were significantly higher respectively in the hypoxic group than those in the control group (P＜0.01). DMA elevated the apoptotic ratio significantly. The effect was enhanced when DMA concentration was augmented and the time was prolonged. CONCLUSION： With the function of adjusting pHi, NHE-1 may play an important role in the proliferation and apoptosis of pulmonary artery smooth muscle cells.

Objective To examine the role of the reactive oxygen species (ROS) and GADD 153 protein in angiotensin Ⅱ (Ang Ⅱ)-induced cardiomyocyta apeptosis in vitro.Methods Cardiomyocytes were isolated from ventricles of healthy 1-2 day old Wistar mrs of both sexes weighing 5-10 g and cultured in high glucose culture medium in an incubator filled with 5% CO2 at 37℃.The cardiomyocytes were randamiy allocated to one of 9 groups (n=5 each): group Ⅰ control (C); group Ⅱ ,Ⅲ,Ⅳ: cardiomyocytes were exposed to Ang Ⅱ 100 nmol/L for 6 h,12 h or 24 h respectively ( Ang Ⅱ 6,Ang Ⅱ12,Ang Ⅱ24) ; group Ⅴ:cardiomyocytes were preincubated with N-acetyl-L-cysteine (NAC) 5 mmol/L for 2 h before being exposed to Aag Ⅱ 100 nmol/L for 24 h (NAC + Ang Ⅱ); group Ⅵ:cardiomyocytes were exposed to NAC 5 mmol/L for 24 h (NAG); group Ⅶ:cardiomyocytes were tranfected with GADD153 antisense oligo-denxynueleotida (onti-ODN) 10 μmol/L for 24 h before being exposed to Ang Ⅱ 100 nmol/L for 24 h; group Ⅷ: cardiomyocytes were transfected with missense oligo-deoxynucleotide (mis-ODN) 10 μmol/L for 24 h before being exposed to Ang Ⅱ 100 nmol/L for 24 h and group Ⅸ: cardiomyocytes were exposed to transfection agent of same concentration for 24 h.Viability of myocytes was measured by MTT assay; ROS production was determined by spectropbotometry; apoptosis in cardiomyocytes was detected by staining with Hoechst33342; the percentage of Annexin V positive and PI negative myocytes was measured by flow cytometry as apoptosis rote and GADD153 protein expression was determined by Western blotting.Remits The viability of myocytes was significantly lower,while the ROS production,apoptosis rate and GADD153 protein expression in myocytes were significantly higher in group Ⅱ,Ⅲ,and Ⅳ(Ang Ⅱ6,Ang Ⅱ12,AngⅡ24) than in control group (P＜0.05).The cell viability was significantly higher and the ROS production,apoptosis rate and GADD153 protein expression in myocytes were significantly lower in groupⅤ(NAC+AngⅡ)and Ⅶ(anti-ODN + Ang Ⅱ) than in group Ang Ⅱ24(Ⅳ).Conclusion Angiotensin Ⅱ induces cardiomyocyte apoptosis by increasing ROS production and up-regulating GADD153 protein expression.

Objective To compare the effects of snfentanil and fentanyl combined anesthesia on stress responses in pediatric patients undergoing surgical repair of congenital heart defect with cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) .Methods Twenty-four pediatric patients aged 2-6 yr undergoing surgical repair of congenital heart defect were randomized into 2 groups (n=12 each): sufentanil combined anesthesia group (group S) and fetanyl combined anesthesia group (group F). The patients were premedicated with intramuscular morphine 0.2 mg/kg, scopolamine 0.01 mg/kg and ketamine 5 mg/kg. Anesthesia was induced with midazolam 0.1 mg/kg and snfentanil 0.7 μg/kg (in group S) or fentanyl 5 μg/kg (in group F). Tracheal intubation was facilitated with vecuronium 0.15 mg/kg. The patients were mechanically ventilated. PCO_2 was maintained at 35-45 mm Hg. Anesthesia was maintained with propofol infusion at 6-9 mg·kg~(-1)·h~(-1) and intermittent in boluses of midazolam,vecuronium and 3 doses of sufentanil (0.7, 1.5, 1.5 μg/kg) or fentanyl (5, 10, 10 μg/kg). Arterial blood samples were taken after entering the operation room, at 1 min after tracheal intubation, 1 min after splitting of sternum, immediately after rewarming, 10 min after termination of CPB and 24 h after operation for determination of plasma ACTH, cortisol, glucagon, lactic acid and blood glucose. Results The MAP and HR were maintained in the normal range during operation in both groups. The plasma concentrations of ACTH, cortisol, glucaon and lactic acid were significantly lower in group S than in group F. Plasma ACTH cortisol, glucagon, lactic acid and blood glucose increased significantly during operation as compared with the baseline before anesthesia in both groups. Conclusion Sufentanil combined anesthesia can inhibit stress response in pediatric patients more effectively during surgical repair of congenital cardiac defect performed under CPB.

Sulfated polysaccharide from Porphyra haitanensis showed inhibitory effect on the lipid peroxidation in vitro. In the present study, the changes in the antioxidative enzyme activity, lipid peroxidation, and total antioxidative capacity (T-AOC) in different organs after 60 Co irradiation were detected in mice by using biochemical methods. Increased endogenous lipid peroxidation and decreased contents of T-AOC as well as decreased activities of super-oxide dismutase (SOD) and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) were observed in mice after 60Co irradiation. Intraperitoneal administration of polysaccharide fraction F2 significantly decreased the lipid peroxidation. F2 treatment increased T-AOC and the activities of SOD and GSH-Px in all organs tested in 60Co irradiated mice. It is concluded that the sulfated polysaccharide fraction F2 from Porphyra haitanensis can be used in compensating the decline in antioxidative capacity arising from radiotherapy and thereby reduced the risks of lipid peroxidation.

Objective To investigate the distribution and antimicrobial resistance of pathogens from lower respira-tory tract in patients in intensive care unit (ICU),so as to provide reference for clinical treatment.Methods Distri-bution and antimicrobial susceptibility of pathogens isolated from ICU patients’sputum obtained through fiberbron-choscope between 2011 and 2014 were analyzed retrospectively.Results A total of 3 454 pathogenic strains were isolated between January 1 ,2011 and December 31 ,2014,the percentage of gram-negative bacteria,gram-positive bacteria,and fungi were 84.11 %,14.50%,and 1 .39% respectively.The detection rates of extended-spectrum β-lactamase-producing Escherichia coli and Klebsiella spp .in 2011 -2014 were 38.46% -73.33% and 26.95% -37.06% respectively. Enterobacteriaceae strains had low resistance rates to imipenem and meropenem (<20.00%);resistance of Acinetobacter baumannii was higher than Pseudomonas aeruginosa ,both had low resistance rates to amikacin(3.32%-37.16%);vancomycin-and linezolid-resistant strains were not found among Staphylo-coccus .In 2011 - 2014,detection rates of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA)were 42.86% -61 .22%,methicillin-resistant coagulase-negative staphylococcus (MRCNS)were 86.96% - 91 .67%;resistance rates of Enterococcus faecium was higher than Enterococcus faecalis ,vancomycin-resistant strains were not found among Enterococcus faecalis and Enterococcus faecium ;the major fungus was Candida albicans .Conclusion Anti-microbial resistance of pathogens isolated from lower respiratory tract is getting more serious,clinicians should pay attention to non-antimicrobial infection control strategies in addition to rational use of antimicrobial agents.

Objective To evaluate the role and efficacy of preventing bone mineral loss in patients with endometriosis treated by gonadotrophin-releasing hormone analogues (GnRH-a) combined with addback therapy.Methods Prospective,randomized controlled studies of the use of GnRHa with add-back therapy in treatment of endometriosis were enrolled in this study from Medline,Embase,Cochrane library,China National Knowledge Internet (CNKI),Chinese Biological Medicine Disk (CBM) and Data Base of Wanfang.After quality assessment and data extraction,meta-analysis were conducted in the change of BMD,reproductive hormone (E2) and visual pain score (VAS) by Stata 11.0 software.Results A total of 785patients from 13 randomized controlled trail (RCT) studies enrolled in this study after exclude no following up,poor quality and repeat published studies.377 patients were in group of GnRH-a with add-back treatment and 408 patients were in group of GnRna alone.The findinds were showed in meta-analysis:(1) there was a significant difference in percentage change of bone mineral density (BMD) between two groups,the addback therapy was more effective in prevention of bone loss which was (SMD =0.223,95％ CI:0.003 to 0.443,P =0.047).(2) There was no significant difference in the level of reproductive hormone between two groups (SMD =-0.053,95％ CI:-0.479 to 0.373,P =0.807).(3) There was also no significant difference in the visual pain score between the two groups (SMD =-0.157,95％ CI:-0.474 to 0.160,P=0.332).Conclusions GnRH-a with add-back therapy have been shown to be more effective in preventing loss of BMD than GnRH-a treatment alone.However,the long term effect of preventing BMD should be studied.

Objective To explore the effects of hammerhead ribozyme on the expression and activity of NHE 1 and pHi in pulmonary artery smooth muscle cells (PASMCs) of rats and its role in PASMCs proliferation in vitro . Methods According to the secondary structure of NHE 1 mRNA in rats, NHE 1 specific hammerhead ribozyme was designed with the assistance of computer. The recombinant vector of retroviral plasmid pLXSN and hammerhead ribozyme, PRZ, was transfected into the cultured PASMCs. G418 resistant cell clones were screened with 100 ?g/ml G418. Then, the expression of NHE 1 mRNA was detected by RT PCR, intracellular pH(pHi) value and recovery rate of pHi after intracellular acid loading were measured by fluorescent probe BCECF. 22 Na uptake and 3H TdR incorporation were determined, respectively. Results Compared with the cells transfected with pLXSN and non transfected cells, NHE 1 mRNA, pHi value, pHi recovery rate, 22 Na uptake and 3H TdR incorporation decreased significantly in cells transfected with recombinant vector PRZ. No significance was found between the pLXSN transfected group and non transfected group. Conclusion Hammerhead ribozyme can cleave the target NHE 1 mRNA specifically, reduce the expression of NHE 1 mRNA, induce intracellular acidosis and consequently suppress the proliferation of PASMCs.
