In this cross-sectional study, consecutive Chinese Han ethnic inpatients in the Division of Cardiology, the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University from January 1, 2010 to December 31, 2013 were included. According to the exclusion criteria, 9 587 patients [1 604 with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and 7 983 without T2DM]were obtained for final analysis. Logistic regression model was used to analyze the association of ApoB/A-1 ratio with T2DM and the possible interactions between ApoB/A-1 ratio and other risk factors. The results showed that the distribution of ApoB/A-1 ratio was positively skewed in Chinese Han ethic population. The median of ApoB/A-1 ratio of female was lower than that of male (0.68 vs 0.73,P<0.01). In all groups, the proportion of T2DM was increased with the raised ApoB/A-1 ratio. By the stratification analyses of sex, age, coronary artery disease, and the use of statins, ApoB/A-1 ratio was still correlated with T2DM. There existed significant interactions between ApoB/A-1 ratio and the smoking status or creatinine in T2DM.

Objective To discuss the selection of conveyance and the temperature safeguards during the transport of blood specimens for centralized nucleic acid detection.Methods A total of five chips,which have been set every 10 minuets to record the temperature,have been placed in the Specimen box accordance with the appendix B ofblood transport requirements (WS/T 400-2012).Then,observe the temperature changes in case of ice been placed on both sides,sides and top,sides and bottom,sides and top,bottom of the specimen box respectively.Results In case of ice been placed on both sides of the specimen box,the temperatures were always higher than 10 ℃.In case of ice been placed on both sides and the top of the specimen box,the temperatures were all in range of 2-10 ℃ within 13 hours.In case of ice been placed on both sides and the bottom of the specimen box,only the temperatures of the top were always higher than 10℃.In case of ice been placed on both sides,top and bottom of the box,the temperatures of the bottom were always lower than 2 ℃.Conclusion In case of ice been placed on both sides and top of the box was the most appropriate temperature safeguards during the transport of blood specimens,while in the other cases,the temperatures were lower than 2 ℃,or higher than 10 ℃.

Objective To explore the physical/chemical properties and effect of photodynamic therapy (PDT) of iminodiacetic acid modified tetraphenylporphyrin on mice bearing H22 liver cancer.Methods The UV absorbance spectrum,singlet oxygen yield and lipid-water partition coefficient were measured by UV spectrophotometry.Mice bearing H22 liver cancer as animal model were divided into control group (no drug,no light),light treated group (no drug,only light),drug treated group (only drug,no light),experimental once group (with drug and light,once) and experimental twice group (with drug and light,twice,PDT twice).Tumor inhibition rate and index of liver,spleen,lung,thymus of the mice were calculated to evaluate the antitumor activity of iminodiacetic acid modified tetraphenyl porphyrin-PDT.Results The iminodiacetic acid modified tetraphenylporphyrin had absorption at 650 nm,while its singlet oxygen yield and lipid-water partition coefficient were 2.30 and 0.52,respectively.No antitumor effect on mice bearing H22liver cancer for light treated group and drug treated group respectively.However,significant antitumor effect (P＜0.001)was found at experimental group.The maximum tumor inhibition rate could be 95.15％ for PDT twice group.No significant differences were observed on weight gain and liver,lung,spleen,thymus index in each group.Conclusion Iminodiacetic acid modified tetraphenylporphyrin with high singlet oxygen yield,low toxicity and significant in vivo anti-tumor activity,is suitable to be developed as an anti-tumor drug candidate for photodynamic therapy.

Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) is widely used in the research of various diseases. And application of VEGF also has drawn many attentions in spinal cord injury (SCI). This paper reviewed the mechanism of VEGF and different factors that influenced the express of VEGF in SCI.

Objective To explore pathological characteristics of different white matter tracts at core of the spinal cord injury (SCI) in adult rats. Methods 21 adult female Wistar rats were divided into normal group (n=3), sham group (n=3) and lesion group (n=15). The rats of the lesion group were severely injured at T7-8 using the NYU impactor of 10 g×50 mm. The pathology of spinal cord injury was detected using Luxol fast blue (LFB) staining and NF200 immunohistochemistry staining 1 day, 3 days, 7 days, 14 days and 28 days after injury, while the hindlimbs behavior of rats was rated with Basso-Beattie-Bresnahan (BBB) scores of open-field. Results The BBB scores recovered 3 days after injury and reached a platform from 14 to 28 days after injury. LFB showed that there were spared white matters on ventral white matter (VWM) and lateral white matter (LWM). The percentage of spared white matters area decreased to the lowest 3 days after injury, and reached a platform from 7 to 28 days after injury. The number of NF200-IR axons reduced significantly in white matter tracts after SCI. Conclusion Ventral spared white matters plays a key role in the recovery of motor function in rat with SCI, and the first 3 days was a time window to protect the white matters from injury.

Objective To examine the interleukin-27 (IL-27) levels in the serum of the patients with neuromyelitis optica (NMO) and healthy controls (HCs) and explore the correlation of the serum IL-27 level with disease severity.Methods Serum concentrations of IL-27 from 39 patients with NMO and 39 HCs were measured by using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).Mann-Whitney U test was performed to analyze the difference in the IL-27 levels between the NMO group and the HCs.Spearman's rank correlation analysis was used to analyze the correlations of serum IL-27 levels with clinical parameters (EDSS,spinal cord lesion length,annual relapse rate and antibody titers of AQP-4) of NMO.Results The serum IL-27 levels were significantly lower in NMO group than in HCs (P＜0.001).Serum IL-27 levels were negatively correlated with EDSS,total length of spinal cord lesion identified by MRI at the sampling,and the average relapse rate during two-year follow-up (r=-0.439,P=0.010;r=-0.434,P=0.006;r=-0.451,P=0.031).There was no significant correlation between IL-27 levels and antibody titers of AQP-4 (r=-0.027,P=0.871).Multivariate regression analysis showed that serum IL-27 levels were negatively correlated with EDSS (B=-0.025,P=0.023).Conclusion IL-27 may participate in the pathogenic process of NMO and might be a prognosis marker of the disease.

Objective:To explore the application effect of blended learning in clinical practice of undergraduate students majoring in medical imaging diagnosis.Methods:A total of 60 undergraduate students majoring in medical imaging diagnosis who practiced in the Department of Radiology of Chongqing General Hospital from 2017 to 2019 were selected as subjects. The students were divided into experimental group and control group, each with 30 students. During the internship, the experimental group adopted the blended learning, including lecture-based learning, case-based learning, problem-based learning and team-based learning according to different teaching scenarios. While the control group adopted the traditional teaching mode. At the end of the internship, the test scores of the two groups of intern students were compared, and the satisfaction degree of the teaching was investigated by questionnaire. SPSS 19.0 was used to conduct t-test and Chi-square test. Results:The score of theoretical knowledge examination in the experimental group was (90.27±5.38) points, and that in the control group was (83.13±7.57) points. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant ( t=4.21, P<0.001). The score of imaging analysis examination in the experimental group was (90.07 ± 4.80) points, and that in the control group was (82.13±8.71) points. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant ( t=4.37, P<0.001). The results of the satisfaction survey showed that the overall satisfaction with teaching was 76.7% (23/30) in the experimental group and 50.0% (15/30) in the control group, with statistically significant difference ( χ2= 6.57, P=0.037). Conclusion:The blended learning has a good effect in the teaching of undergraduate students majoring in medical imaging diagnosis.

A case of limbic encephalitis with positive anti-leucine-rich glioma inactivated 1 protein (LGI1) antibody and anti-myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (MOG) antibody was reported. The patient was a middle-aged male with a history of retinal vein occlusion. The main symptoms were temporal lobe epilepsy, facial arm dystonia, autonomic nerve dysfunction. Magnetic resonance imaging showed long T 2 signal in the right hippocampus without enhancement and normal perfusion. Electroencephalogram showed paroxysmal slow wave and sharp slow wave in interictal period. Blood anti-MOG antibody, blood and cerebrospinal fluid anti-LGI1 antibody were double positive. The main diagnosis was limbic encephalitis. After treatment with hormone and gamma globulin, the symptoms were improved and double antibodies were turned negative. Anti-LGI1/MOG double positive cases are rare, and the clinical manifestations and imaging manifestations of double positive antibody cases are not completely consistent with those with each single antibody, with different characteristics. This report can help clinicians enhance awareness.

Objective To investigate the status of post traumatic growth in emergency nurses, and to analyze its influencing factors. Methods A total of 300 emergency nurses from 6 ClassⅢ hospitals in Wenzhou were selected by convenience sampling method. They were investigated with an self-designed information questionnaire, Post Traumatic Growth Inventory (PTGI) and Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CDRS). The influencing factors of post traumatic growth in emergency nurses were analyzed using multiple stepwise regression analysis. A total of 300 questionnaires were distributed and 253 valid questionnaires were obtained. Results The total score of post traumatic growth in emergency nurses was (49.81±16.42), and the total score of CDRS was (58.39±10.09). Pearson correlation analysis showed that the post-traumatic growth of emergency nurses was positively correlated with resilience (r=0.315,P＜0.05). Multivariate regression analysis showed that age, working time and psychological resilience were the main influencing factors of post-traumatic growth of emergency nurses. Conclusions The post traumatic growth level of emergency nurses is relatively low, and age, working hours and resilience have an impact on them. Emergency nursing managers should pay more attention to the post traumatic growth of emergency nurses and enhance their psychological resilience so as to improve the post traumatic growth of emergency nurses.

Objective To explore the status quo of nurse-nurse collaboration and perceived professional benefits in emergency service nurses and to analyze effects of nurse-nurse collaboration on perceived professional benefits.Methods Totally 200 emergency service nurses from 6 ClassⅢ Grade A hospitals in Zhejiang Province were selected by convenient sampling and investigated with the nurse-nurse collaboration scale and the nurses' perceived professional benefits scale between February and December 2017.A total of 200 questionnaires were distributed and 193 valid questionnaires were collected.Results The nurse-nurse collaboration score of the 193 nurses was (67.16±10.13),standing at a high level;their score of perceived professional benefits was (134.76±16.51),standing at an above-average level;and there was statistical difference in the score of perceived professional benefits between nurses with different type of employment (P＜0.05).According to the hierarchical regression analysis,communication and nurse-nurse collaboration were the influencing factors to the perceived professional benefits in emergency service nurses (P＜0.01).Conclusions The perceived professional benefits stand at an above-average level,and there is still headroom for improvement.Nursing managers may enhance the nurses' perceived professional benefits by improving nurse-nurse collaboration.
