The effects of MgSo_4 on the automaticity of the ventricular muscles induced by ouabain in guinea pig were studied using a glass incroelectrode technique, The results showed: (1)MgSo_4 (2～4mM)could inhibite the papillary muscle oscillatory afterpontial (OAP) of the guinea pig induced by ouabin (0.4?M); (2)2～4 mM of MgSo_4 could inhibite papillary muscle spontaeus electric activity frequeney induceb by 0.8?M ouabain and cause slop of diastolic depolarization to decrease; (3) When MgSo_4 and ouabain were pergused at the same time ventricular papillary OAP and spontaneous electric activity could not be induced. The results indicate that MgSo may prevent or cure oubain arrhythmias.

OBJECTIVE:To study the pharmacokinetics of Cefoperazone in dogs and compare the pharmacokinetic differ?ence between single Cefoperazone and Cefoperazone plus Tazobactam.METHODS:Six healthy dogs were given intravenously a single dose of Cefoperazone Sodium and Cefoperazone-Tazobactam Sodium.Levels of Cefoperazone in dogs'serum were de?termined by RP-HPLC method.The pharmacokinetic parameters were obtained and compared between Cefoperazone Sodium and Cefoperazone-Tazobactam Sodium.RESULTS:The serum drug concentration-time course in dogs was conformed to the two-compartment model after a single dose of Cefoperazone Sodium and Cefoperazone-Tazobactam Sodium.Area under the concentration-time curve(AUC 0～∞ )was(486.17?117.98)、(469.74?71.49)(mg?h)/L,half-time(T 1/2? )was(0.96? 0.13)、(0.85?0.17)h,respectively.There were no significant differences between two groups.CONCLUSION:Taking AUC 0～∞ as index,two preparations are bioequivalent.

Objective To evaluate the effect of medical hygiene wipes on disinfecting object surface and compliance to use in an intensive care unit (ICU).Methods 30 beds in the ICU at a hospital were randomly selected and divided into three groups:A,B and C,each group had 10 beds.Group A were only provided hygiene wipes,group B used towel soaked in chlorine-containing disinfectant (disinfected towel),group C were provided both medical hygiene wipes and disinfected towel for selected use.Compliance to different disinfection methods,and disinfectant efficacy on object surface were compared.Results The rate of compliance to disinfection in group A was higher than group B (78.78% vs 42.12%,χ2 =68.56,P <0.05);except medical disposal trolley and ventilator,compliance to disinfection of the other object surface in group A were all higher than group B (all P <0.05).Except ventilator, adenosis triphosphate (ATP)values before and after disinfection of object surface in group A and B were both significantly different (both P <0.05 ),disinfectant efficacy of group A was superior to group B.Group C used medical hygiene wipes more than disinfected towel ([836 times,91 .57%]vs [77 times,8.43%]).Nurses spent (20.15+ 3.00 )minutes on preparing disinfectant every day,and (15.02 ± 2.00 )minutes on washing used disinfected towel,while hygiene wipes could be used immediately,discarded after use,and was timesaving. Conclusion Use of medical hygiene wipes is convenient,rapid,and without irritating odor,it also improves disinfection effect on object surface and ICU health care workers’compliance to disinfection.

Objective:To study the expression of 11 cancer-testis (CT) genes and autologous humoral immune response to NY-ESO-1 in gastric carcinoma in China to provide some data for developing a vaccine against this cancer. Methods: Pathology tests were conducted in 101 gastric carcinoma samples,including tumor tissue and paired adjacent normal non-tumor tissue. Reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) was used to test for 11 CT antigen gene expression and ELISA for autologous humoral immune response to NY-ESO-1.The antigen of NY-ESO-1 was also detected in tumor tissues by mAb E978 in IHC.Results: About 74.3% of the samples expressed at least one CT antigen,and the most frequently expressed one was MAGE-3 (41.6%). Twelve out of the 101 samples (11.9%) were found to be NY-ESO-1 mRNA positive. Simultaneously, autologous humoral immune response to NY-ESO-1 was detected in 6 of 12 NY-ESO-1 mRNA positive patients. Conclusion: Multiple CT genes were expressed in gastric cancer samples. MAGE-3,SSX-1,SSX-4, NY-ESO-1/LAGE-1, and MAGE-1 can be chosen as candidate antigens for cancer vaccines due to their higher expression rate. The potential of a multivalent CT antigen vaccine, including NY-ESO-1 and MAGE-3 along with other CT antigens, should be evaluated in patients with gastric cancer.

Total flavones of hippophase rhamnoides (TFH) inhibited the contraction of isolated rabbit aortic preparations induced by KCl, CaCl_2 and noradrenaline (NE), shifted the dose-response curvesto the right and depressed the maximal response. PD_2' values were 5.79, 5.75 and 5.81 respectively. TFH could also reduce Ca~(2+) -dependent contraction in rabbit aortic preparations. These results suggest that relaxation of vascular smooth muscles caused by TFH may be due to TFH natagonistic effect on transmembrane Ca~(2+) channels.

Objective To investigate the present situation of quality of life in the elderly residents aged more than 60 years in Zhanjiang city and to analyze its influence factors .Methods 418 elderly residents over 60 years sampled by the random sampling in Zhanjiang city were performed the questionnaire survey by using the Chinese Scale of World Health Organization QOL (WHOQOL-BREF) .Results The quality of life in the physical ,psychological and environmental fields in male residents was higher than that in the female residents ;which in the psychological and environmental fields in the high cultural level residents was higher than that in the low cultural level residents ;which in the social relations field in the high income residents was higher than that in the low in-come residents ;there were no statistical differences in the quality of life among the elderly residents with different occupations be-fore retirement and marital status ;the Logistic regression analysis showed that gender and occupation were the influence factors of quality of life self evaluation in elderly residents .Conclusion Gender ,occupation ,educational level and income level are the influ-ence factors of quality of life in elderly residents .

The application of real-time data acquisition module can save indirect nursing time and improve the nursing efficiency, meanwhile, the whole monitoring data is of great significance to the research and medical records analysis.

Objective To study the protective action of Semen Ziziphi Spiosaeand on acute myocardial ischemia and its effecte on infarcted area. Methods Left anterior descending(LAD) of coronary artery was ligated to cause the big rat's acute myocardial ischemia, and electrocardiogram (ECG) was used to appraise the effect of sour jujube kernel total soap on the myocardial infarcted area. Results Compared with control group, the experimental group treated with sour jujube kernel total soap glucosidal showed significantly smaller infarcted area; and ECG showed the heart rhythm, S-T piece and T wave value were significantly decreased in the experimental group. Conclusion Sour jujube kernel total soap glucosidal can reduce the myocardial infarcted area caused by ligature of LAD, so as to protect the cardiac muscle.
