1.Clinical manifestation and histopathologic features of linear cutaneous lupus erythematosus: a report of six cases

Objective To summariza the clinical and histological features of linear cutaneous lupus erythematosus (LCLE).Methods Six cases of LCLE were analyzed retrospectively.Results LCLE was often clinically characterized by unilateral.zonal or linear,dark-erythematous patches with telangiectasia,and some lesions were covered with adherent Scales.Histologically,there were patchy perivascular and periadnexal lymphoid inflammatory infiltrate occurring in the superficial and deep dermis.Some cases were pathologically manifested by parakeratosis of superficial dermis,follicular plugging and hydropic degeneration of the basal layer of the epidermis,which was characteristic of discoid lupus erythematosus.The preferred treatment was chloroquine for LCLE.Low dose of corticosteroids were recommended for widespread lesions,especially for those pathologically manifested by lymphocyte infiltrates in the lower dermis and fat tissue.Conclusion The diagnosis of LCLE should be based on clinical and histopathological manifestations.
2.The clinical value of fasting blood glucose,glycosylated hemoglobin and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein in acute phase of cerebral infarction

Objective To discuss the clinical value of combined determination of fasting blood glucose (FBG),glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c)and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP)in patients with acute cerebral infarction.Methods 105 patients with acute cerebral infarction were scored using the standard of Europ Stroke Score(ESS) ,and the level of FBG,HbA1c and hs-CRP were measured.All the patients were divided into three groups,according to the level of FBG and HbA1c,and the index of three groups were compared.Results The hyperglycemic group without diabetes had lower ESS score than the group with normal blood glucose(P <0.01 )and the group with hyperglycemia and diabetes(P <0.05).Also the hyperglycemic group without diabetes had higher level of hs-CRP than the group with normal blood glucose(P <0.01)and the group with hyperglycemia and diabetes (P <0.05).Conclusion Patients with acute cerebral infarction associated with high FBG and high HbA1c had high hsCRP, and severe prognosis.
3.A study on calculating the ankylosing spondylitis disease activity score according to the C-reactive protein level

Objective To study the prediction value of C-reactive protein (CRP) level to ankylosing spondylitis disease activity score (ASDAS),the most widely used activity score in ankylosing spondylitis (AS).Methods A total of 386 patients with AS were enrolled and divided into 2 groups by CRP≥3.5 mg/L (n =266) and CRP < 3.5 mg/L(n =120).ASDAS-CRP was evaluated in patients with CRP below the normal range (3.5 mg/L) in different subgroups.Three methods were used to test the consistency between ASDAS-CRP and ASDAS-erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR).Results The ASDAS-CRP showed a good correlation with the ASDAS-ESR when CRP level was ≥ 3.5 mg/L (r =0.899,P =0.000).In the group of CRP < 3.5 mg/L,ASDAS-ESR showed better consistency with ASDAS-CRP when CRP level was below 1.5 mg/L(intra-class correlation coefficient 0.902;kappa coefficient 0.70).By the evaluation of variant gradient matrix,CRP 1.5 mg/L coincided with disease activity states.Conclusion There is good consistency between ASDAS-CRP and ASDAS-ESR.When CRP level is below the normal range,1.5 mg/L could be a cut-off value to calculate the optimal ASDAS-CRP score.
4.Chemical constituents of Cyclocarya Paliums

AIM:To study the chemical constituents of the leaves of Cyclocarya Paliums(Batal.) Iljinskaja. METHODS: Chemical constituents were separated through chromatographic methods and their structures were elucidated by spectral analysis. RESULTS: Six compounds were isolated from the chloroform fraction through 75% alcohol extraction from the leaves of Cyclocarya Paliums.Their structures were elucidated as ?-Sitosterol(1),Behenic acid(2),3?,20-dihydroxyl-5?-Pregnanes(3),Kaempferol(4),?-amyrin(5),?-amyrone(6). CONCLUSION: Compounds 3?,20-Dihydroxyl-5?-Pregnanes(3),?-amyrin(5) and ?-amyrone(6) are isolated from this plant for the first time.

AIM: To investigate the role of phosphoinositide pathway in the formation of pressure-overload cardiac hypertrophy. METHODS: Cardiac hypertrophy was induced in male Sprague-Dawley rats with coarctation of abdominal aorta, whole heart weight/body weight ratio was tested after 10 or 30 days of operation. Content of G?q/11 protein in left ventricle was detected by immunoblot analysis and concentration of IP 3 was measured by radioimmunoassay. Objective:To investigate the changes of macular region structure before and after operation in patients with macular epiretinal membrane,and its relationship with the visual function of patients.Methods:The clinical data of 60 patients with macular epiretinal membrane (60 eyes) in our hospital from February 2014 to August 2016 were retrospectively analyzed.All patients were examined with optical coherence tomography (OCT) examination,and observed the changes ofmacula central fovea and retinal each azimuth thickness,and the best corrected visual acuity (BCVA) was recorded before and after operation,and the correlations of them were analysised.Results:The visual acuity was improved in 53 patients (53 eyes) after operation,accounting for 88.33%,and the visual acuity was unchanged in 7 patients (7 eyes),accounting for 11.67%.The preoperative BCVA of patients was (0.18± 0.07),and it was (0.38± 0.12) at 3 months after operation,which was significantly higher than before operation (P<0.05).Postoperative macular central thickness,inner side of the inner ring thickness,nasal side of the inner ring thickness,above the inner ring thickness,below the inner ring thickness,outer ringtemporal side thickness,external ring nasal side thickness,above the outer ring thickness,below the outer ring thickness in patients compared with the preoperative were significantly lower,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The Pearson correlation analysis showed that preoperative macular central thickness,preoperative inner side of the inner ring thickness,preoperative outer ring temporal side thickness,the difference of macular fovea thickness before and after operation,the difference of the medial temporal before and after operationwas,the difference of outer ring temporal side before and after operation were negatively correlated with postoperative BCVA (P<0.05).Conclusion:Vitrectomy can significantly reduce macular retinal thickness in patients with macular epiretinal membrane,and it can improve the visual function of patients,and the shape ofmacular region before operation had some influence on postoperative visual acuity.
7.Ultrasonographic features and clinical pathological characteristics in yolk sac tumors of ovary

Objective To explore the ultrasonographic features of yolk sac tumors of ovary.Methods Totally 12 patients (13 lesions) of the yolk sac tumors of ovary confirmed by pathology were analyzed retrospectively.Two-dimensional ultra sonography,color Doppler and spectral Doppler features were observed and combined with clinical manifestations.Results Ultrasound showed 1 case with bilateral single lesion and 11 cases with unilateral single lesion,the median size of tumors was 11.82 cm × 11.19 cm.Thirteen lesions showed liquid-solid mixed echo,and the blood flows in solid region were ≥ grade Ⅱ according to Adlefs semi quantitative method,the resistance index of blood was 0.37 0.55;Six cases combined with abdominal cavity effusion.Pathology showed 2 cases combined with omentum or rectal pouch metastasis and 1 case was tubal,ovarian artery and vein invasion.Conclusion Ultrasound images in the yolk sac tumors of ovary have characteristics and diagnosis must closely combine with clinical manifestations,some cases still need to be confirmed by pathology and immunohistochemist r y.
8.Diagnosis and scr eening for antimalarial retinopathy:two cases report and literature review

Objective To analyze antimalarial assosiated retinopathy detected by different methods with of modern ocular fundus examination, and explore screening strategy and the diagnosis of hydroxych-loroquine assosiatedretinopathy according to clinical experience and international guidelines. Methods Full fundus examination was performed in two patients with antimalarial retinopathy. The related literature were reviewed. Results Two patients had bull's eyes maculopathy and abnormal visual fields. Conclusion Clin-icians' alertness to hydroxychloroquine related retinopathy may improve early diagnosis of hydroxychloroquine toxicity. New objective tests are more sensitive than visual fields examination. Visible bull's-eye maculopathy is a late change, and the goal of screening is to recognize toxicity at early stage.

10.Factors Related to Atherosclerotic Plaque Formation of Carotid Artery

Objective To investigate the factor related to atherosclerosis of carotid artery. Methods Carotid arteries of 142 conscious patients with cerebral infarction (CI) and 78 without cerebrovascular disease (NCVD) were detected with color Doppler ultrasonography. Results Atherosclerotic plaques were found in 64.8% (92/142) patients with CI, and in 28.0% (22/78) NCVD patients (P<0.01). Logistic regression analysis showed that incidence of atherosclerotic plaques correlated with age, hypertension, and diabetes mellitus (P<0.01). Conclusion Formation of atherosclerotic plaques is a risk factor to CI, and related with age, hypertension, and diabetes mellitus.
