1.Humanized mouse models for liver disease research:a review
Acta Laboratorium Animalis Scientia Sinica 2014;(5):95-99
Liver diseases post great threats to human public health globally.Lacking of appropriate small animal models largely impeded the translational studies on human liver diseases, especially on viral hepatitis and related cirrhosis, hepatocellular carcinoma, etc.By human hepatocyte transplantation, the liver-humanized mice have significantly contribu-ted to the researches of human liver diseases. This review summarizes the currently widely used and representative human-ized mouse models, including uPA, FAH, TK-NOG, AFC8 mice and their applications in studies of human liver diseases.
2.Clinical Observation on 150 Patients with Diabetes Type Ⅱ Treated by Qiyao Xiaoke Capsule Combined with Metformin Hydrochloride Tablets:A Multi-centered Random-Controlled Study
Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 1993;0(06):-
Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of Qiyao Xiaoke Capsule(Capsule for Diabetes) on the diabetes type Ⅱ.Methods Totally 240 diabetes type Ⅱ patients were randomized into a treatment group(n=150),and a control group(n=90);and other 30 diabetes patients who didn't regularly take hypoglycemic drugs were set as opening group. The treatment group was administered Qiyao Xiaoke Capsule plus Metformin Hydrochloride Tablets, while the control group was prescribed Xiaokeling Capsule in addition to Metformin Hydrochloride Tablets, and the opening group was given Qiyao Xiaoke Capsule only, with a leading period of two weeks. The patients were treated for 4 weeks. Before treatment and at the end of the 4 weeks' treatment, the fasting blood glucose(FBG),2 hours postprandial blood glucose(2hPG),and glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c) of all groups were determined, and scores of TCM syndromes and symptoms were observed to evaluate the therapeutic effect. Results The total effective rate of the treatment group was 74.67%,of the control group 72.22%,and in the opening group 70.00%.Except for the 2hPG of the opening group, the FBG,2hPG and HbA1c of 3 groups were decreased(P

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2014;31(3):648-651
To study the effect of the proliferation and apoptosis of Survivin-T34A mutant on breast cancer MCF-7 cell, we adopted the method of cell culture in vitro to observe the proliferation and apoptosis of the cell. In the experiment, MCF-7 cells were randomly divided into three groups and transfected with normal saline, PORF-9-null and Survivin-T34A, respectively. Breast cancer nude mouse models were established to study anti-tumor effect of Survivin-T34A in vivo. The activity of the cells in the Survivin-T34A-transfected group was lower than that in PORF-9-null group. The increase of cell apoptosis was observed under electron microscopy, meanwhile the apoptotic rate was obviously higher than that in PORF-9-null control by flow cytometry. Tumor inhibition effects of the mouse which received the injection of Survivin-T34A intratumoral injection were apparent, and the inhibition ratio was as high as 47.1%. In conclusion, Survivin-T34A mutant has anti-tumor effect through efficiently inhibiting the growth of breast cancer MCF-7 cell and actively promoting apoptosis of cancer cells.

Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2012;19(6):864-865
ObjectiveTo evaluate the effect of health education to women of childbearing age on knowledge of birthdefents.MethodsRandomly selected 200 case of maternal pre-pregnancy check-up in the hospital outpatient department were divided into two groups,The observation group of 100 cases,100 cases of the control group.the control group received rule progestation knowledge education, the observation group enforce health education intervention, apply the way of questionnaire survey, and the results were statistically analyzed.ResultsThe observation group answer correct rate is obviously higher than the control group ( all P < 0.05 ).ConclusionTaking a variety of measures of health education for pregnant women during the physical examination for effective interventions, could significantly improve the population birth defects knowledge rate had positive significance to the prevention of birth defects.

China Oncology 1998;0(01):-
Purpose:To study the expression of survivin a nd its relationship with the expression of bcl-2,p53,PCNA in the dysplasia of gastric mucous epithelium and gastric carcinoma. Methods:The expression of survivin,bcl-2,p53,PCNA was detected in 60 cases of gastric carcinoma, 30 cases of dysplasia of gastric mucous epithelim and 8 cases of normal gastric mucous tissue by using immunohistochemical SP method. Results:The positive rates of survivin were 10%,13%,80% and 82%, respectively, in mild, moderate and svere dysplasia and gastric carcinoma. The positive rates of survivin in mild and moderate dy splasia were significantly lower than in severe dysplasia and carcinoma (P0 05). There was a relationship between survivin gene expression with the invasive depth of gastric carcinoma. lymph node metastases and survival stage (P

Chinese Journal of Health Policy 2014;(4):38-43
Objective:To understand the implementation status of case-based payment among healthcare provid-ers and their cognition on the matter. Methods:Semi-structured interview was conducted on 30 purposely selected staff from 9 hospitals in Chengdu. Results:After one-year implementation of case-based payment, hospitals at different level carried out the policy vigorously:executed corresponding expense control measures and management. Neverthe-less, the proportion of cases that were paid with case-based payment was low, moreover the inclusion criteria for case was of disunity and the formulation of the expense standard was ambiguous to some extent. Conclusion:Certain achievements were accompanied with problems, so it is essential to refine reimbursement standards, improve case-based payment, make clear the inclusion criteria for case and extend the covering range of case-based payment in Chengdu. In addition, the medical insurance agency should strengthen the supervision of healthcare providers, and guide them to set up effective incentive mechanism.

BACKGROUND:There are many reports on the clinical effect of total knee arthroplasty in the treatment of advanced rheumatoid arthritis, but the reports on the effect of total knee arthroplasty on the disease activity in patients with rheumatoid arthritis are rare. Therefore, the more clinical evidences are needed for supporting.
OBJECTIVE:To explore the effect of total knee arthroplasty on disease activity in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.
METHODS:109 patients with rheumatoid arthritis were included;48 cases in the replacement group, and received total knee arthroplasty combined with internal medicine medications;the 61 cases in the drug treatment group were treated with simple internal medicine medications. The rheumatoid factor, blood sedimentation rate and C-reactive protein levels of the patients in two groups were measured before treatment, 1 and 2 years after treatment, and the Ishikawa joint function scoring criteria was used to assess the functions.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:There were no significant differences in the rheumatoid factor, blood sedimentation rate and C-reactive protein levels between two groups before treatment (P>0.05). At 1 and 2 years after treatment, the indicators in the drug treatment group were higher than those in the replacement group (P<0.05);the indicators in the two groups at 2 years after treatment were significantly lower than those before treatment (P<0.05). The rheumatoid arthritis symptom scores of the affected joints of the patients in two groups were significantly improved, especial y the pain, swel and subjective attitudes, and the replacement group was better than the drug treatment group (P<0.05). The total knee arthroplasty can affect the disease activity of rheumatoid arthritis in short-term, and the effect of total knee arthroplasty is better than simple drug treatment.
