50 cases of the brancnes and anastomoses of the cavernous segment of theinternal corotid artery were dissected on 3 adult and 22 infant cadavers under aspectacle type magnifying glass and a binocular dissection microscope. The principalresults are summarized as follows:1.From the proximal to the distal portion of the cavernous segment of theinternal carotid artery there were two curves, the first one curves forward and thesecond curve curves upward. Both curves divided the cavernous segment into threeportions,i.e.the posterior ascending, horizontal and anterior ascending portions.2.Normally within the cavernous segment of the internal carotid artery therewere two major branches which were the meningo-hypophyseal trunk and the arteryof the inferior cavernous sinus. In some cases there was also a capsular arterypresent. The meningo-hypophyseal trunk usually gave rise to three branches, viz, the tentorial artery, the dorsal meningeal artery and the inferior hypophyseal artery.According to the number of the primary branches within the cavernous segment ofthe internal carotid artery,we classify four types of ramification namely:of onebranch,of two branches,of three branches and of four branches.3.With regard to various branches, their origins, average external diameters, proper names, courses and distributions were presented in detail.4.The anastomoses of the cavernous segment of the internal carotid arterywithin various branches were described. The clinical significance of what has beenmentioned above was discussed.5.Parkinson's cavernous triangle, which is of practical significance to themicrosurgical operation, has been likewise measured.

Objective To evaluate the clinical significance of minimal residual disease (MRD)detecion in ALL-B of children by flow cytometric (FCM).Methods 52 cases of children with ALL-B were performed bone marrow MRD by FCM analisis after induction therapy,3 moths therapy, and 6 moths therapy. After that,MRD detection was performed every 6 months. According to disease risks, three group were categorized, standard risk (SR),imidiete risk (IR) and high risk(HR).Results After 6 months,SR groups MRD positive cases were 4/21(19 %),IR groups MRD position cases were 8/23 (35 %),HR groups MRD position cases were 5/8 (63 %).9 cases relapsed in all 52 patients. There were significant differrence in replased rate between the positive and negtive MRD (P<0.001). Conclution The dynamic detection of MRD by FCM can be used to evaluate the therapeutic effect and prognosis of children with ALL-B. It is also useful in adjusting treatment strategy and for following up in children with ALL.

Objective To investigate the expression of serum angiopoietin-2 (Ang-2 ) and its clinical significance in patients with chronic heart failure (CHF).Methods The levels of serum Ang-2,N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP)and left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF)were detected in 1 1 3 patients with CHF,who were divided into four groups according to New York Heart Association (NYHA:class Ⅰ,n=3 2;Ⅱ,n=30;Ⅲ,n=26;Ⅳ,n=25).Another 20 healthy volunteers for physical check-up were chosen as the control group. Results With the change of cardiac function (from Ⅰ to Ⅳ),the levels of plasma Ang-2 and NT-proBNP were increased significantly (P<0.05 ).The level of serum Ang-2 was positively correlated with NT-proBNP (r=0.774,P<0.001),but negatively correlated with left ventricular ejection fraction (r=-0.725,P<0.001).Conclusion The level of serum Ang-2 has a significant correlation with the severity of heart failure.Ang-2 is expected to be used to predict and evaluate the severity of CHF.

Objective:To construct the quality evaluation scale of specification of management for humanistic caring in outpatients and test its reliability and validity. Methods:Referring to the group standards in Specification of Management for Humanistic Caring in Outpatients released by the China Association for Life Care,as well as relevant guidelines and literature,a pool of items for the quality evaluation scale of specification of management for humanistic caring in outpatients was formed. After expert consultation and expert argumentation,a quality evaluation scale of specification of management for humanistic caring in outpatients was constructed. From January to February 2024,243 hospital managers from 5 hospitals in Zhengzhou were selected as survey subjects to conduct item analysis, and reliability and validity testing on the scale. Results:Two rounds of expert inquiry and two rounds of expert argumentation were conducted, with questionnaire response rates of 92.00%and 100.00%,respectively,and expert authority coefficients of 0.952.In the second round of the expert inquiry scale, the mean importance score of the first-level indicators was 4.80 to 5.00,the full score ratio was 88.00%to 100.00%,the coefficient of variation was 0.04 to 0.17,and Kendall's coefficient of concordance was 0.857(P<0.001);the mean importance score of the second-level indicators was 4.60 to 5.00,the full score ratio was 80.00%to 100.00%,the coefficient of variation was 0.00 to 0.21,and Kendall's coefficient of concordance was 0.775(P<0.001);the mean importance score of the third-level indicators was 4.60 to 5.00,the full score ratio was 76.00%to 100.00%,the coefficient of variation was 0.00 to 0.21,and Kendall's coefficient of concordance was 0.830(P<0.001).Finally,a quality evaluation scale of specification of management for humanistic caring in outpatients was formed, including 5 first-level indicators,25 second-level indicators, and 58 third-level indicators.Exploratory factor analysis produced 5 common factors with a cumulative variance contribution rate of 74.628%.The Pearson correlation coefficients between the five-factor scores ranged from 0.648 to 0.798,and the correlation coefficients between the factor scores and the total score of the scale ranged from 0.784 to 0.938.The scale-level content validity index(S-CVI)of the scale was 0.945,the item-content validity index(I-CVI)was 0.725 to 1.000,the Cronbach's alpha coefficient of the total scale was 0.973,and the retest reliability coefficient was 0.934.Conclusion:The constructed quality evaluation scale of specification of management for humanistic caring in outpatients has good scientific validity and reliability, and can be used as an evaluation tool for specification of management for humanistic caring in outpatients.

ObjectiveTo investigate the relationship between lower limb muscle strength and walking speed in older adults, and to analyze the mediating role of flexibility and dynamic balance. MethodsFrom November to December, 2021, a total of 155 older adults at the Shanghai Senior Sports and Health Home were included. Their basic health information was collected, and the lower limb muscle strength, flexibility, dynamic balance and walking speed were tested. A mediated effects analysis was conducted. ResultsThere was a pairwise correlation among lower limb muscle strength, flexibility, dynamic balance and walking speed in older adults (r > 0.210, P < 0.01). In the mediated effects model, after controlling for age and gender, lower limb muscle strength did not directly predict walking speed in older adults (β = 0.029, P = 0.699), however, lower limb muscle strength could influence walking speed through the partial mediation of dynamic balance (effect = 0.0130, 95% CI 0.0073~0.0197) and the chain mediation of lower flexibility and dynamic balance (effect = 0.0019, 95% CI 0.0003~0.0043). ConclusionLower limb muscle strength can indirectly affect walking speed in older adults through the mediators of flexibility and dynamic balance, or the dynamic balance alone.
