Objective To observe the antiangiogenesis of panaxoside-Rg3 on mice intraperitoneally implanted with ascites tlnnor cells.Methods 25 female and 25 male Kunming mice were random divided into five groups:Group I injected with normal saline (0.9%NS),Group Ⅱ with cisplatin(DDP 0.5mg/kg),Group Ⅲ,with low-dose panaxoside-Rg3(LPD 0.3mg/kg),Group Ⅳ with middle-dose panaxoside-Rg3(MPD 1.0mg/kg),Group Ⅴ with high-dose panaxoside-Rg3(HPD 3.0mg/kg).Experimental ascitic hepatocarcinoma of H22 lines model were successfully established among all groups,and 24 hours later intraperitoneal infusion of 0.2ml medicines was given to each mouse once every day for 14 days.24 hours after the over of the treatment,all mice were executed.Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)method was used to detectt he different VEGF level in the ascites and serum of all groups and expressions of micmvessel density (MVD)of peritoneum tumor node was calculated by immunohistochemical staining with CD31 antibody.Morphological of tumor cell in abdominal cavity and new vascular in peritoneum tumor node were observed by transmission electron microscope.Results With the increase of concentration of panaxoside-Rg3,expressions of the VEGF level of the ascites and the serum and MVD in peritoneum dropped(P＜0.05)and decreased more than that in the NS group and the DDP group(P＜0.05).Morphological changes of tumor ceHs in panaxoside-Rg3 group were observed with electronic scope,more apoptosis and necrosis cells were found.Capillary vessel basal lamina was smoothing.Condusion Panaxoside-Rg3 decreases the permeability of mierangium and inhibit the neovascula-rization of peritoneum by decreasing the VEGF level,accordingly,panaxoside-Rg3 inhibit the formation of malignant ascites.This would offer foundation of theory for clinical application.

Objective To explore the effect of subcutaneous composite flaps by crossed filling and supporting within areola combined with continuous distraction on moderate and severe inverted nipple.Methods 33 patients with 59 moderate and severe inverted nipples were involved in this study.The bilateral subcutaneous triangular composite tissue flaps pedicled with the base of the nipple were harvested within areola,the two triangular composite tissue flaps were revolved and advanced either horizontally to the opposite pedicle through the tunnel beneath the nipple and fixed as supporting.After the operation,the continuous distraction of the nipple lasted for two to four weeks,clinical effect and complications were analyzed.Results None of these 59 nipples appeared blood circulation disorder after operation.Postoperative follow-up for 6 months to 3 years showed that 54 inverted nipples were corrected completely without complications,such as nipple and areola necrosis,and there were no recurrence.The patients and doctors were satisfied with the appearance of the nipples.Conclusions Correcting the moderate and severe inverted nipple with subcutaneous composite flaps by crossed filling and supporting within areola combined with continuous distraction is simple,microinvasive,effective,and the incision scar is invisible,and it therefore is an ideal method for correcting the inverted nipple.

Objective To investigate the relationship between expression of Survivin gene and biological characteristics in human esophageal carcinoma.Methods The expression of Survivin gene was detected in 62 cases of esophageal carcinoma tissues and tumor-adjacent normal tissues by immunohistochemical technique.Results The positive rate of Survivin expression in esophageal carcinomas was 79 0%,which was higher than that in tumor-adjacent normal tissues(6 5%,P0 05). Objective To investigate the effects of inhibiting ubiquitin-proteasome pathway(UPP) on DNA synthesis and cell cycle in gastric cancer cell line SGC-7901. Methods The SGC-7901 cells were treated with MG-132, a specific inhibitor of UPP. The effect of MG-132 on cells DNA synthesis was assayed by 3 H-thymidine( 3H-TdR)incorporation. Cell cycle was analysed by flow cytometry(FCM). Results After treated with MG-132, DNA synthesis of SGC-7901 cells was significantly inhibited, the ratio of G 0/G 1 phase cells increased, and the ratio of G 2/M phase and S phase cells decreased. Conclusions MG-132 can significantly inhibit DNA synthesis of gastric cancer cells SGC-7901 and induce G 1 blocking. The data indicated that inhibiting UPP may be a new strategy to treat gastric cancer.

AIM: To evaluate effects of rutecarpine on the movements of gastrointestinal tract in experimental animals. METHODS: In mice, the accelerated movement model of intestinal transit was induced by neostigmine, and metoclopramide or apoplon was applied to induce the accelerated gastric emptying movements. Acetylcholine or histamine was used to induce the contractions occurring in the isolated ileum from guinea pigs. RESULTS: Rutecarpine inhibited normal intestinal transit and demonstrated more effective suppression on the accelerated movement induced by neostigmine in mice; meto- clopramide and apoplon induced-accelerated gastric emptying movements were also significantly inhibited by rutecarpine in a dose-dependent manner. Meanwhile rutecarpine significantly inhibited the isolated ileum contractions induced by acetylcholine or histamine. CONCLUSION: Rutecarpine is an effective inhibitor to intestinal motility and this activity is probably mediated by its antagonistic effects on the cholinergic nerve or its responsible modulations.

Objective To evaluate the efficacy of ultrasound-guided combined C5 and superficial cervical plexus block in patients undergoing clavicle surgery.Methods Sixty ASA physical status Ⅰ or Ⅱ patients,scheduled for elective clavicle surgery,were randomly divided into 2 groups (n =30 each) using a random number table:injection with 10 ml local anesthetic guided by ultrasound group (group U),and injection with 10 ml local anesthetic guided by anatomical landmark group (group A).A mixture of 0.375 ％ levobupivacaine and 1.0％ lidocaine was used.The time spent performing the block onset time of analgesia,onset time of analgesia in the medial border,midpoint and lateral border of the clavicle and duration of analgesia were measured.The effectiveness of block (excellent,good,failure) was assessed.The complications were observed.Results Compared with group A,the time spent performing the block was significantly prolonged,the onset time of analgesia in the lateral border and midpoint of the clavicle was shortened,the rate of excellent anesthesia was increased,and the duration of analgesia was prolonged in group U (P ＜ 0.05).No complications occurred in group U,while vascular puncture occurred in 3 cases,and one patient developed mild toxic reaction in group A.Conclusion Ultrasound-guided combined C5 and superficial cervical plexus block provides better block,with faster onset time of analgesia in the lateral border and midpoint of the clavicle,longer duration of analgesia and fewer complications as compared with that guided by anatomical landmarks in patients undergoing clavicle surgery.

Objective:To study the effects of compatibility circumstances on guizhi's effect in dispelling cold and relieving exterior in complex prescriptions. Methods:202 formulae that effected on Sanhanjiebiao were collected from 1425 formulae with guizhi,and the frequency of herbs combining with guizhi in 202 formulae was ranked from high to low. Results:According to the compatibility frequency from high to low,herbs are:Radix Ledebouriellae(60.89%) ,Herba Ephedrae(36.63%) ,Notopterygium Incisum Ting ex H.T.Chang(27.23%) ,Radix Angelicae Dahuricae(14.85%) ,Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens(11.39%) ,Herba Schizonepetae(5.94%) ,Radix Ledebouriellae and Herba Schizonepetae(4.46%) successively. Conclusion:It showed that guizhi should combine with corresponding herbs to form compatibility circumstances to exert the effect of Sanhanjiebiao in formula,and the function exertion will be effective.
