5.Application of proteomics in the studies of cerebral ischemic preconditioning
International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2009;17(1):63-66
Proteome is defined as all proteins expressed in a cell, a tissue or an organism. Proteomics, a science of understanding the life activity law at the whole protein level, takes proteome as a research object; it is also a scientific method for quantitative detection of one or more protein populations or proteomes in a cell or tissue. Cerebral ischemic preconditioning has been one of the research hotspots in the field of neuroscience for decades. Its neuroprotec-five mechanism is associated with the changes of protein expression levels after cerebral ischemia, Therefore, proteomics has become more and more important in its mechanism study. This article mainly presents the major techniques of proteomics and their application in the studies of cerebral ischemic preconditioning.
6.Advances in the study on association of Wnt-5a with tumor
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(07):-
Wnt gene family has been shown to encode the multifunctional signaling glycoproteins that are involved in the regulation of a wide variety of normal and pathologic processes, including embriogenesis, differentiation, and tumorigenesis.Recent studies have demonstrated that the Wnt-5a expression is frequently deregulated in various human cancers, which suggested that Wnt5a shuld be a good marker for progression and prognosis of tumor, but the role of Wnt-5a is controversial in different tumors. Here,we assemble evidence of possible relations between Wnt and various tumors.
7.The inhibitory effects of hydrogen sulfide on the expression of NF-κBp65 in the treatment of atherosclerosis
Chinese Journal of Biochemical Pharmaceutics 2017;37(6):11-15,19
Objective Established the model of atherosclerosis (AS) cells. To explore Hydrogen sulfide donor (NaHS) in atherosclerosis model by oxidized low density lipoprotein (ox-LDL) induced of the NF-κBp65 factor expression.MethodsApplication concentration of 80ug/mL ox-LDL induced liver cancer cell HepG2 cells AS model, set up a control group and treatment group (10μmol/L、15μmol/L、30μmol/L、100μmol/L、500μmol/L、1000μmol/L), to observe hydrogen sulfide this cell model of the cell proliferation activity and the determination of TNF-α and IL-10 factors of the expression, through the RT-qPCR and Western-blot method for determining the expression of the NF-κBp65 expression situation.ResultsAt 24h the ox-LDL induced a large number of red-stained granules, free cholesterol and total cholesterol in HepG2 cells increased, and free cholesterol content was more than 50% of total cholesterol in HepG2 cells, indicating that AS cell model was established successfully.CCK8 method of cell proliferation activity test results showed that the NaHS in 30umol/L, duration of 48 h when the largest cell proliferation activity. The TNF-α cytokine by ELISA method for testing the results showed that the treatment group in 15umol/L and 30umol/L concentration compared with the control group decreased significantly (P<0.05), while the expression of IL-10 increased significantly (P<0.05), with statistical significance.RT-qPCR and Western-blot method results show that the NF-κBp65 factor expression significantly reduced compared with control group (P<0.05), with statistical significance.ConclusionH2S play a protective role in atherosclerotic lesions by reducing the NF-κBp65 factor expression, and provide a valuable reference for the development and clinical treatment of H2S donor-type drugs.
8.Survey of barriers to scientific application of evidence-based nursing
Modern Clinical Nursing 2016;15(3):1-6,7
Objective To discuss the barriers influencing the application of evidence-based nursing. Methods Nine hundred nurses from August 2013 to February 2014 were selected from five polyclinics in Shenzhen by randomly cluster sampling according to different departments and wards. We carried out the survey with the Chinese version of cognitive of impairment of nursing scientific research scale. Results The sores of 4 dimesions of scientific application of evidence-based nursing from high to low were effectiveness and system of research, resource to evidence-based nursing, quality of research and attitude and ability of nursing staff. The main barriers in applying scientific research payoffs by the nursing staff included the deficient resource and equipment provided by hospitals (68.09%), the jumbled medical development information confused the nurses in selecting related reference (66.75%), failing to put the scientific achievements into practice (66.01%),insufficient time to actualize new ideas (64.15%), and difficulty in obtaining the reference of scientific research (64.04%). Conclusion The barriers to scientrfic application of evidence-based nursing were the deficient resource and time and difficulties to find evidence. The nursing policy makers should adopt efficient measures aimed at the difficulties the nursing staff in applying their research results, thereby popularize the application of research achievements in hospitals.
