The principal role of neutrophils in tissue repair has long been thought to be confined to killing bacteria and clearing necrotic tissue. However, recent studies have shown that neutrophils are also one of the sources of pro inflammatory cytokines and growth factors, such as IL 1, TNF ?, bFGF, VEGF,TGF ? 1 that probably serve as the earliest signals to activate local fibroblasts, epidermal cells and vascular endothelial cells and initiate tissue repair. It was also reported that neutrophils improved the proliferation removal of injured epithelial cells in airway and corneal epithelial cells. It is very important for the successful tissue repair that the function of neutrophils is normal.

A 64-year old man was admitted on July 2011 with masses both in liver and right kidney.After PET-CT and blood test examination,dual primary advanced cancers were speculated to be co-existed in this patient,which having poor prognosis.By evaluation with comprehensive geriatric assessment,the patient also had hypertension,diabetes and atherosclerosis,liver and renal insufficiency.After multidisciplinary consultation and detailed discussion with the patient,the decision of no surgery and just keep the follow-up was made.The patient has been followed up for 18 months and the functional evaluation is the same as before.It is very important to evaluate the risk/benefit equation and improve the standard of care,and make the decision as patient centered rather than disease-centered in the elderly patients.

Objective　To study the effects of systemic irradiation and conglutinant drug W11-a12 on the number and some functions of wound nentrophils (Neu). Methods　Wound Neu was collected from sponges which were implanted in rat's dorsum incision. The number of Neu, as well as the phagocytic function and motility of wound Neu were measured. Results　After 4,6,8 Gy systemic irradiation, the number of white blood cells and Neu in wound, as well as the phagocytic function and chemotactic motility of wound Neu, were significantly decreased at 24 h, 48 h after wounding. W11-a12 markedly increased the number of wound Neu, improved the phagocytic function and chemotactic motility of wound Neu at 24 h, 48 h after wounding despite the rats were radiated or not. Conclusion　The results indicated that the decreased number and function of wound Neu in the early stage of wound healing contributed to the impairment of repair after systemic irradiation. W11-a12 accelerated normal and irradiation-impaired wound healing partly by increasing the number of wound Neu and improving the Neu function.

ObjectiveTo investigate the insulin receptor expression binding characteristics and it's clinical significance of 125 I insulin on human hepatocllular cancer cell membrane.MethodInsulin was radioiodinated using Ch T method, isolated and purified by polyacrylamide gel electryophresis. Human hepatocellular cancer and adjacent liver tissue cell membrane were extracted, receptor binding and bind ability of 125 I insulin and insulin receptor on hepatocellular cancer and adjacent hepatic cell membrane were studied. ResultsThe specific activity of 125 I insulin was 46 1?1 2 TBq/mmol,the radiochemical purity was over 98%. Insulin receptor content increased in hepatocellular carcinoma cells 〔Bmax=(1 9?0 6)?pmol/mg protein, the Kd of high and low affinity was 2 1?0 6?nmol and 25?8?nmol respectively〕 compared with carcinoma adjacent hepatic cells 〔Bmax=( 1 42? 0 57)?pmol/mg protein t =0 032 P 0 05〕.ConclusionHuman hepatocellular carcinoma cells overexpress insulin receptor. A14 125 I insulin has a specific high affinity with insulin receptor on HCC cells.

Objective To investigate telomerase activity in patients with psoriasis. Methods The telomerase activity in the skin lesions of patients was detected by TRAP (Telomeric repeat amplification protocol)——ELISA which is based upon PCR amplification of the initial telomerase product and detected by ELISA. Results Telomerase activity was detected in the lesions of psoriatic patients, but the level of it was lower in comparison with that in tissues of malignant tumor and K562 cell line. Conclusion These findings support that the increase of telomerase activity may be linked to the pathogenesis of psoriasis and that the telomerase activity can be detected not only in malignant tumors but also in nonmalignant skin diseases.

Objective To investigate the clinical features and management strategies of re-pregnant women with chronic hepatitis B virus infection after implementation of two-child policy.Methods A total of 173 women with chronic hepatitis B virus infection in a subsequent pregnancy were enrolled from Hangzhou Xixi Hospital, among whom 91 cases were before implementation of the policy (from January to August 2015, control group), and 82 cases were after policy implementation (from March to December 2016, study group).The clinical data including basic information, pregnancy complications, postpartum complications, delivery mode and perinatal complications were retrospectively analyzed,t test or χ2 test was used for comparison between the two groups.Results There were significant differences in proportion of age>35 years (31.71% vs.16.48%,χ2=5.528), frequency of abortion(3.2±0.3 vs.1.3±0.4,t=5.723), fertility interval with first pregancy[(57.8±21.4)months vs.(40.4±16.6)months,t=6.691],rate of assisted reproduction(14.63% vs.5.49%,χ2=4.066),proportion of abnormal liver function(13.41% vs.4.40%,χ2=4.618),antiviral treatment during pregnancy (34.14% vs.19.78%,χ2=4.561) and proportion of HBV DNA loads >105IU/mL(35.36% vs.20.88%,χ2=4.515)between study group and control group (all P<0.05).The incidences of gestational hypertension(12.20% vs.3.30%), gestational diabetes mellitus(14.63% vs.5.49%),placenta previa(9.76% vs.2.20%),placental implantation(3.66% vs.0), hydramnio (12.20% vs.3.30%), fetal distress (14.63% vs.5.49%) and preterm birth(14.63% vs.5.49%)were also statistically significant between two groups (χ2=4.914, 4.066, 4.524, 3.838, 4.914, 4.066 and 4.066,all P<0.05).The incidence of cesarean section again(50.00%), postpartum hemorrhage(14.63%)and postpartum anemia(19.51%) were significantly higher in the study group than that in the control group(35.16%,4.40% and 8.79%,χ2=3.892, 5.387 and 4.149,all P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the incidence of low birth weight(14.63% vs.5.49%), neonatal asphyxia(19.51% vs.6.59%)and neonatal HBV infection rate(15.85% vs.6.59%)were higher in the study group (χ2=4.066, 6.486 and 3.883,all P<0.05).Conclusions The clinical characteristics of re-pregnant women with chronic hepatitis B virus infection are more complex and suffer greater risk of pregnancy, so antenatal care should be further reinforced after the comprehensive implementation of two-child policy.

Objective: To analyze the incidence and trends for incidence of stroke in Jinhua City from 2015 to 2020, so as to provide insights into stroke control. Methods: The data pertaining to incidence of stroke among registered residents in Jinhua City from 2015 to 2020 were collected from Zhejiang Provincial Information Management System for Surveillance on Chronic Diseases. The incidence of stroke was estimated and standardized to the Sixth National Population Census in 2010. The trend in incidence of stroke was evaluated using annual percent change (APC). Results: Totally 120 993 stroke cases were reported in Jinhua City from 2015 to 2020, and the annual mean crude incidence and standardized incidence of stroke were 415.68/105 and 339.67/105, respectively. There were no significant trends in crude incidence (APC=0.30%, t=0.234, P=0.827) and standardized incidence of stroke (APC=-0.99%, t=0.946, P=0.398). The crude incidence of stroke was significantly higher in men than in women (457.38/105 vs. 372.62/105; χ2 =1 262.329, P<0.001), and the crude incidence of stroke appeared a tendency towards a rise with age (χ2 trend=377 708.263, P<0.001), with a tendency towards a decline among residents at ages of 75 years and older (APC=-2.66%, t=3.078, P=0.037). There were 94 038 residents with ischemic stroke (77.72%) and 24 176 residents with hemorrhagic stroke (19.98%), and both the crude incidence (APC=1.78%, t=3.440, P=0.026) and standardized incidence of hemorrhagic stroke (APC=2.66%, t=3.911, P=0.017) appeared a tendency towards a decline. Conclusions The incidence of stroke remained relatively stable in Jinhua City from 2015 to 2020; however, the overall incidence was still high. Ischemic stroke was the predominant type of stroke, and men and middle-aged and elderly people are at high risk of stroke.

Objective To observe the expression of basic fibroblast growth factor(bFGF) at different stages of tooth germ development,and explore its mechanism and significance.Methods Immunohistochemical technique was used to examine the expressions of bFGF in the tooth germs at different stages of human fetus in 8-34 weeks,the suckling mice with 1-22 d,and the dog postnatal in 6 weeks-5 months.Results bFGF expressed in tooth germ at all stages.In human fetus,the positive reaction was observed in epithelium of tooth bud,dental plate,enamel organ,external and outer enamel.The ameloblasts,odontoblasts,epithelial root sheath and dental follicle showed strongly positive reaction in the unerupted human deciduous tooth,the tooth under the eruption of neonate external enamel,stratum intermedium cells,ameloblasts and odontoblasts showed strongly positive epithelium,dental papilla and dental follicle at bud stage and cap stage,while at bell stage cells in mice and 6 week postnatal canal tooth.The positive expressions of bFGF were observed in root of tooth,peridental ligament and the osteoblasts adjoin to peridental ligament in the dog succession of decideous teeth.Conclusion bFGF is one of critical regulator in the tooth development,which can regulate the differentiation and morphogenesis of tooth germ cells and control the eruption and succession of deciduous teeth at different stages.

As an important member of metabotropic glutamate receptors (mGluR), metabotropic glutamate receptor 1 (mGluR1) plays an important role in the signal transduction of central nervous system. Selective mGluR1 antagonists can block the signaling pathway activated by mGluR1 and exert a series of physiological actions including analgesia, antianxiety, antidepression, etc. Currently, the discovery and modification of selective mGluR1 antagonists have become a hot research focus. This paper reviews the structural catalogs of selective mGluR1 antagonists and their structure-activity relationships in the last decade.
