2.The climical value of serum progesterone and estradiol to the diagnosis of embryo arrest in early pregnancy patients
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2012;19(21):3220-3221
Objective To analyze the clinical relationship of progesterone(P) and estradiol(E2) for embryo arrest in early pregnant patients. Methods 118 patients with embryo arrest in early pregnancy were selected and divided into two groups, research group (58 cases, embryo arrest in early pregnancy) and control group (60 cases, threatened abortion but embryo keeping growth by tocolysis).Serum P and E2 were measured and compared between two groups.Receiver operating characteristic curves(ROC) of all indexes were drawn and the areas under the ROC curves were calculated to evaluate diagnostic value. Results Compared to control group, the serum P and E2 were lower in research group(P < 0.05).To diagnosis embryo arrest, the threshold for P was less than 118.4nmol/L,with 93.9% sensitivity and 87.3% specificity; while the threshold value for E2 was less than 1110pmol/L,with 95.6% sensitivity and 90.7% specificity. Conclusion Detection of serum P and E2 may be helpful for the diagnosis of embryo arrest in early pregnancy, and the serum E2 had the best diagnostic value.
3.A Review of Multisensory Deficit of Unilateral Neglect
Chinese Journal of Clinical Psychology 1993;0(01):-
We have known that neglect can often be multisensory. This paper reviewed auditory disturbances accompanied by visual neglect.Patients with visual neglect often show deficits in localisation of contralesional single sounds, particularly in the presence of an ipsilesional competitor.Auditory and visual aspects of neglect often correlate in their severity.Recent neuroimaging findings in the normal brain showed that the brain regions damaged in neglect patients might contain multimodal representations of space.

Therapy group were given S. cuneata decoction after FTR via self-made semi-Y-shaped catheter; control group were given FTR only. RESULTS: Two years after operation, the total effective rate of therapy group was 83.3%. In control group, the total effective rate was 60.0%. There was a significant difference between two groups (P
9.Study and applications of human oocyte cryopreservation
Journal of Peking University(Health Sciences) 2003;0(06):-
The oocyte cryopreservation is more promising than embryo freezing in clinical applications, preservation of female fertility, legal and ethical aspects in this decade. The redundant oocytes retrievedfrom ⅣF cycles can potentially donate oocytes, which have unique advantages in economy and feasibili-ty.We have achieved success in embryo freezing, but just obtained poorer results in oocyte cryopreserva-tion which was mainly because of the low rates of survival, fertilization, and cleavage. The character ofthe plasma membrane and the time of cortical granules present at the metaphase of meiosis Ⅱ with thespindle system consist of the major difference between oocytes and embryos. Moreover, the oocytes shouldbe fertilized by sperm at the appropriate time.We used a refined slow freezing method to improve the sur-vival rate and increased sucrose concentration to dehydrate oocytes.Vitrification was another approach toprevent harms.Besides, intracytoplasmic sperm injection was used to overcome possible zona hardeningafter the release of cortical granules.Oocytes after cryopreservation showed serious disturbances of the mi-crotubules immediately after thawing as they were vulnerable to the thermal changes and easy to depoly-merize.Fertilization of these oocytes with disorganized spindles led to chromosomal aneuploidy, digyny, and degradation of the cleavage rate.We can improve cryopreserved oocytes to normal fertilization anddevelopment by appropriate incubation and timing of insemination,as the microtubules repolymerize in atime dependent way after incubation which is compatible with recovery of the spindles. With the improve-ment of survival, fertilization, and development, oocyte cryopreservation will play an imperative role.
