Objective To Compare postoperative complications between patients with varicose veins of the lower limbs treated with foam sclerotherapy or endovenous laser.Method From 2011 to 2015,simple varicosis of great saphenous vein patients (grade C3-6) in 2 542 cases,3 468 limbs were divided into 2 groups.Combined with high ligation of great saphenous vein plus stripping,foam sclerotherapy group (1 355 cases) underwent calf foam sclerotherapy (1％ polidocanol),endovenous laser group (1 187 cases) underwent endovenous laser therapy.All postoperative patients were treated with stretch socks for 3 months.Postoperative pain (calf),deep vein thrombosis,pulmonary embolism,superficial thrombophlebitis,saphenous nerve injury,ecchymoma,migraine,allergic dermatitis,pigmentation in 2 groups were compared.Result During the follow-up,28 cases in foam sclerotherapy group had saphenous nerve injury (2％),1 071 (79.1％) cases had subcutaneous ecchymosis,613 cases (51.6％) in endovenous laser group had saphenous nerve injury,979 cases (82.5％) had subcutaneous ecchymosis,8 cases (1.0％) had skin burns (x2 =824.660,4.786,9.161,P ＜ 0.05).Endovenous laser group (23.8％) was significantly better than that of foam sclerotherapy group (30.8％) in pigmentation (x2 =15.243,P ＜0.05).Conclusion Treatment of varicose veins of the lower leg with foam sclerotherapy has less postoperative complications compared with endovenous laser.

Objective To investigate the epiderniology of fungemia and provide evidence for clinical therapy.Methods A retro- spective survey was done with the 31 cases of fungemia in our hospital from August 2004 to November 2005.Results More than 80% of the patients suffered from two and more underlying diseases.Over a half of infections developed following placement of catheters.And 83.9% of the patients had a history of antimicrobial agents use before blood culture.The pathogens of 24 (77.4%) cases were associated with Candida spp.Only 3 strains were C.albicans.The mortality rate of candidemia was 45.8%.Different Candida species had different resistance rates to antifungal agents.Conclusions Fungemia patients often have serious underlying diseases.Most fungemia cases were candidemia caused by non-C.albicans.Some fungal pathogens are re- sistant to fluconazole and itraconazole.

Objective To observe the changes of peripheral blood lymphocyte subsets in patients with postoperative colorectal cancer before and after chemotherapy, and to evaluate the changes of immune function status. Methods 74 patients with stage Ⅱ-Ⅲ colorectal cancer after radical resection admitted in Zhejiang Cancer Hospital from January to December 2016 were enrolled. 25 non-malignant patients in the same period in our hospital were selected as the control group. Flow cytometry was used to analyze the proportion of peripheral blood lymphocyte subsets at one day before the first, sixth and eighth cycles of adjuvant chemotherapy. Results There were no differences in CD3+ (P =0.1532), CD3+CD4+ (P=0.1107), CD3+CD8+ (P=0.2576) T cells in the peripheral blood between patients with colorectal cancer after radical operation and control group (P>0.05). While CD3+CD56+NKT cells (P=0.0210) and CD3-CD56+NK cells (P=0.0045) in the patients with colorectal cancer after radical operation were significantly higher than those of the control group (P <0.05). There was no significant change in the proportion of NK and NKT cells before 6 cycles of postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy (P>0.05). There was no significant change in the proportion of NKT cells before 8 cycles (P>0.05), and the proportion of NK cells only decreased slightly (19.10±4.63 vs 20.31±4.66, P=0.046). Conclusion The proportion of NK and NKT cells in patients with colorectal cancer after radical resection was significantly higher than that in healthy people, and the expression rate remains stable after adjuvant chemotherapy.

Objective: To understand prevalence, control of hypertension and intake of sodium and potassium among residents aged 50-69 years old in Zhejiang Province. Methods: A multi-stage random cluster sampling method was used to select 3 032 residents aged 50-69 years old in Zhejiang Province. The demographic characteristics, prevalence and control of hypertension were collected through a questionnaire survey, and physical measurement was also performed. The stratified random sampling method was used to detect the level of sodium and potassium in the 24 h urine of 676 subjects. The total amount of 24 h urinary sodium ≥102.55 mmol and the ratio of 24 h urinary sodium and potassium content ≥2 were defined as excessive. Results: The prevalence of hypertension (95%CI) was 56.89% (54.39%-59.40%), and the awareness, treatment and control rate of hypertension were 58.25% (55.01%-61.49%), 45.37% (42.10%-48.65%) and 19.75% (17.01%-22.50%), respectively. 78.99% (n=534) of residents had excessive 24 h urinary sodium, and 95.41% (n=360) of residents had excessive ratio of 24 h urinary sodium and potassium. Conclusion The prevalence of hypertension in residents aged 50-69 years old in Zhejiang Province was at a high level, and the control of hypertension was not satisfactory in 2017. Most of residents have excessive level of sodium intake and the level of sodium and potassium intake was not balanced.
