Objective] To observe the use of large-connecting-meridians therapy(agitate blood) for the treatment of two cases of Guillain-Barre syndrome for clinical efficacy. [Method] Two cases of Guillain-Barre syndrome differentiation apply the principlesfrom yin to yang, from yang to yin, according to the meridians order, sequentially taking acupuncture, once daily treatment, continuous treatment for 5 days, rest for two days, surrounded by a continuous course of treatment, continuous treatment of four cycles. [Results] After stomach deficiency syndrome type of patients treated, appetite and sprint of improvement, the muscle gradually was full, muscle strength increased significantly, while blood cells and cerebrospinal fluid protein level were restored to normal range; After stagnation context type of patient treated, numbness feeling relieved a little, numbness narrowed, cerebrospinal fluid protein level was reduced to normal level;two cases of Guillain-Barre syndrome after treatment achieved better results.[Conclusion]Large-connecting-meridians method can be applied not only to stroke, used in Guillain-Barre syndrome can also get good results.
2.Epithelial-mesenchymal transition and the airway remodeling of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2015;(9):1004-1008
Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease ( COPD) is a group of chronic airway inflammatory disease characterized by sustained airflow limitation and pulmonary function damage.Inflammation and tissue repair repeatedly result in airway remodeling. Now the mechanisms of airway remodeling remain unclear.More and more researches indicated that epithelial mesenchymal transition ( EMT) is crucial in the airway remodeling of COPD.EMT could be induced by various cell factors and signal channels in the airway epithelium, thus the airway remodeling happened. This review systematically introduces EMT and focuses on the relationship of EMT and airway remodeling of COPD and the probable mechanisms.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2013;(40):7132-7137
BACKGROUND:Scientists began to use stem cells to treat Alzheimer’s disease since human beings achieved embryonic stem cells successful y in 1998.
OBJECTIVE:To review the research progress in stem cells treatment for Alzheimer’s disease.
METHODS:An online search of CNKI and PubMed databases was performed for articles published from 1998 to 2012 (CNKI) using key words of“Alzheimer’s disease, stem cells, neural stem cells, mesenchymal stem cells, induced pluripotent stem cells”in Chinese and English, respectively. The articles were included which related to Alzheimer’s disease, neural stem cells, mesenchymal stem cells and induced pluripotent stem cells, and for articles in the same field, those published recently or in authorized journals were selected. A total of 85 articles were searched. According to inclusion and exclusion criteria, 29 were included.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The possible mechanisms of Alzheimer’s disease include differentiation of neural-like cells, secretion of nutrition factor, improvement of endogenous repair, stimulation of vascular regeneration and action on inflammatory cells. This review highlighted research status of neural stem cells, mesenchymal stem cells and induced pluripotent stem cells in the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease. There were advantages and disadvantages for al of them. The low immunogenicity and oncogenicity of neural stem cells are advantages, but limited source reduces their application. Mesenchymal stem cells also have low immunogenicity and oncogenicity, but their differentiation potential is not good as embryonic stem cells. Induced pluripotent stem cells also have many unsolved problems, but they have been regarded as promising stem cells.

Objective To discuss the application value of texture analysis of conventional MRI in differential diagnosis of orbital lymphoma from inflammatory pseudotumor. Methods The conventional MRI data of 15 patients with lymphoma and 17 patients with inflammatory pseudotumor proven by pathology or clinical follow-up were retrospectively reviewed. The texture features of lesions based on axial T1WI,fat-saturated T2WI and contrast enhanced fat-saturated T1WI were extracted by manually drawn ROIs with software MaZda.The subsets of optimized texture parameters were chosen by four different methods:Fisher coefficient, probability of classification error and average correlation coefficient (POE+ ACC),mutual information measure (MI) and the combination of the above three methods (FPM),respectively.Linear discriminant analysis (LDA) and nonlinear discriminant analysis (NDA) were performed for texture classification. The texture features from the sequence with the best classification result of orbital lymphoma and inflammatory pseudotumor were compared. Results The optimal texture parameters were mainly derived from co occurrence matrix and run-length matrix on T1WI and T2WI.The optimal texture parameters were mainly derived from co-occurrence matrix and histogram on contrast enhanced T1WI.The best classification of MRI texture was obtained within T2WI with lowest classification error of 1.56% achieved by FPM in combination with NDA.Comparing the texture parameters of orbital lymphoma and inflammatory pseudotumor on T2WI,the angular second moment and long length emphasis were significantly higher in orbital lymphoma (both P<0.005),while the entropy and short length emphasis were significantly lower in orbital lymphoma (both P<0.005).Conclusion It is feasible to use texture analysis on conventional MRI for the differentiation of orbital lymphoma and inflammatory pseudotumor.

Objective To summarize the early complications caused by the screws of AO titanium plate in the operative treatment of the displaced intraarticular calcaneus fracture (DIACFs). Methods 60 patients with calcaneal fractures were treated with ORIF (open reduction with internal fixation) using the AO plate. Results All the cases were followed up for 22 months. There appeared 1 case of screw loosening and 2 cases of improper screw location. Conclusion Although the AO titanium plate can improve the anatomic restoration of the calcaneus shape, sufficient preoperative preparation should be made to secure accurate placement of the screws so that the screw problems can be reduced.

Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University(Medical Sciences) 1982;0(01):-
Objective To investigate women's psychological o utcome and its effect factors before and after hysterectomy. Methods In the clinical prospective study, 83 women were investigated for the ir psychiatric status with BDI, HAMD and SCL-90 questionnaires at the time of a dmission and 3 months after hysterectomy. Results The posto perative scales of BDI, HAMD, and SCL-90 were significantly lower than the preo perative ones. The morbidity of depression was decreased from 33.7% to 10.1%. Th e changes of SCL-90 were varied among different age groups. Before hysterectomy , HAMD scales were related negatively to women's educational level, but positiv ely to chief complaints. However, after hysterectomy, HAMD scales were related p ositively to parity, having other physical diseases, but negatively related to p atient's age. Conclusion Hysterectomy is beneficial to wom en's psychiatric and somatic health. Depression occurring before and after hyst erectomy is seen more often in women younger, having more parity, less-educate d, complaining of dysmenorrhea and/or menorrhagia and having other diseases.
