Triple negative breast cancer ( TNBC) is defined by the lack of expressions of the estrogen re-ceptor(ER)、progesterone receptor(PR)and human epidermal growth factor receptor 2(HER-2).Although it is sensitive to radiation and chemotherapy ,it lacks of appropriate targeted therapy and endocrine therapy .It performs characteristics of the strong invasion ,high risk of recurrence and poor prognosis .So in recent years ,triple negative breast cancer gets more and more attention from international oncology community .In-depth study of triple nega-tive breast cancer will help the prevention ,early diagnosis ,judge the progress of the disease and improve progno-sis.TNBC drug treatment and relevant research progress are reviewed in the present article .

Objective To explore the effect of δ-opioid receptor (DOR)on ischemic tolerance of rat brain.Methods The focal ischemic tolerance models of Sprague Dawley rats were established using the twice suture method with the middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO).A total of 24 male Sprague Dawley rats were randomly divided into sham group,ischemia (MCAO) group,sham +ischemia (sham+ MCAO) group and ischemic preconditioning + ischemia (IP+ MCAO) group (n=6,each).The neurological status was assessed using Zea-Longa neurological deficit scores at 7 days after cerebral infarction.The mRNA expressions of DOR,Bax,Bcl-2 in hippocampus in ischemic rat brain were detected by RT-PCR method.Results The Zea-Longa neurological deficit scores were 0.0±0.0,2.6±0.5,2.8±0.6 and 1.5±0.6 in Sham group,MCAO group,Sham+MCAO group and IP+ MCAO group,respectively at 7 days after cerebral infarction.The scores had significant differences among MCAO group,Sham+ MCAO group and IP+ MCAO group (both P＜0.01),but no difference between MCAO group and Sham+MCAO group(P＞0.05).The mRNA expressions of DOR and Bcl-2 were higher and Bax mRNA expression was lower in IP+MCAO group than in MCAO and Sham+ MCAO groups (all P＜0.01).Conclusions Ischemic preconditioning may increase the mRNA expressions of DOR and Bcl-2,reduce Bax mRNA expression,and improve the neurological status in rats.

Objective To investigate and compare the effects of PM2.5 in ambient air samples collected from nickel and nonickel contaminated areas on inflammatory factors in the serum of rats.Methods The air PM2.5 of the nickel-contaminated area and the control area were collected and detected for some major elements.Forty-two male Wistar rats were randomly divided into 10 groups,6 in each,which were respectively instilled with saline,suspended PM2.5 fluid of the nickel-contaminated area and the control area of 3 different doses(1.6,8.0,40.0 mg/kg) through the trachea.The rats were sacrificed 24 hours after being treated with PM2.5.The levels of IL-6,CRP in serum were examined.Results There was no significant difference in the level of PM2.5 between the two areas,the concentration of Ni in the nickel-polluted area was 48.75 times as that in the non-polluted area.A good dose-dependent manner was found in the test of IL-6 in nickel-contaminated groups.CRP was found significantly higher in the nickel-contaminated group and the control group than the saline control group(P

[Objective]To discuss the difference of mechanical stability in using different fixation methods in treating radius and ulna fracture,in order to provide a theoretical basis for clinical applications.[Method]In the experiment,15 pieces of fresh radius and ulna were used to produce middle-part transverse fracture models(A3.2)which were fixed by three different methods(double plate fixation group,double-intramedullary nail fixation group,ulnar intramedullary nailing + radial plate group).Through biomechanical tests,axial stiffness,bending stiffness,torsional stiffness and the equivalent stiffness were compared.[Result]There were no difference between double-plate group and ulnar intramedullary nailing + radial plate group,the stability in these two groups were higher than that in double-intramedullary nail fixation group.[Conclusion]Ulnar intramedullary nailing + radial plate has a good biomechanical property,it can provide firm fixation and with less trauma.So it is a good fixation.

Objective To investigate the effect of brain ischemic preconditioning (IP) combined with traditional Chinese medicine three seven three alcohol saponin (PTS) on proliferation of endogenous neural stem cells and the mRNA expressions of delta opioid receptor (DOR),Bax,Bcl-2 in hippocampus at 7d post middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO).Methods The focal-focal ischemic tolerance models were established with twice suture method.80 SD rats were included and randomly divided into 5 groups:sham group,MCAO group,sham+ MCAO group,IP+ MCAO group,PTS+MCAO group (n=16 each).We chose 10 SD rats from each group to evaluate their neurological status,and made BrdU fluorescent immunolabeling.In addition,we chose the other 6 SD rats to detect the expression levels of DOR,Bax and Bcl-2 mRNA in ischemic region in hippocampusby using RT-PCR.Animals were given one set of BrdU injections (on day 6,three times,4h apart,50mg/kg) to label the proliferating cells.The neurological status was assessed by using Zea Longa neurological deficit scores at 7 days following cerebral infarction.Results Zea longa neurologic deficit scores in MCAO group and sham+ MCAO) group had significantly differences with IP+ MCAO group and PTS+ MCAO group respectively at 7d post MCAO(P＜0.01).There was no significant differeuce in Zea-longa neurologic deficit scores between MCAO group versus sham+ MCAO group,and IP+ MCAO group versus PTS+ MCAO group(P＞0.05).The number of BrdU+ ceils in hippocampus had significant differences between IP+ MCAO and PTS+ MCAO groups at 7d post MCAOand three groups of sham,MCAO and sham+ MCAO respectively (P＜0.01).There was no difference in the number of BrdU+ cells between MCAO versus Sham + MCAO groups and IP + MCAO versus PTS+MCAO groups(P＞0.05).DOR and Bcl-2 mRNA expression levels were higher and Bax mRNA expression level was lower in IP+ MCAO group than in MCAO,Sham+ MCAO and PTS+MCAO groups (P＜0.01).There were no significant differences in DOR,Bcl-2 and Bax mRNA expressions among MCAO,Sham + MCAO and PTS + MCAO groups (P＞ 0.05).Conclusions Acute cerebral infarction can induce the proliferation of endogenous neural stem cells in hippocampus in SD rats.IPC can facilitate the proliferation of endogenous neural stem cells in hippocampus afteracute cerebral infarction,improve the symptoms of neurologic dysfunction,increase DOR and Bcl 2 mRNA expressions,and reduce Bax mRNA expression in SD rats.PTS can facilitate the proliferation of endogenous neural stem cells in hippocampus after acute cerebral infarction in SD rats,and improve the symptoms of neurologic dysfunction,but it has no influence on the expressions of DOR,Bcl-2 and Bax mRNA.

Objective To investigate the clinical value of bronchoalveolar lavage(BAL) in treating serious pulmonary infections from surgical therapy. Methods The clinical data of 56 patients with serious pulmonary infections from surgical treatment were retrospectively investigated. 29 patients in the fibrobronchoscopy group(FBG) received treatment of BAL, 27 patients in the non-fibrobronchoscopy group(NFBG) were used as control. Purpose:To explore the relationship between Epstein-Barr virus(EBV) infection and gastric carcinoma and the role of EBV lytic genes in the tumorigenesis of EBV-gastric carcinomas. Methods:185 gastric carcinoma tissues and 185 corresponding para-carcinoma tissues were tested for EBV genome by polymerase chain reaction (PCR)-southern analysis. EBV-encoded small RNA 1(EBER1) of the PCR positive specimens was detected by in situ hybridization (ISH). Gastric carcinoma with positive EBER1 signals was confirmed as EBV-positive gastric carcinoma. RT-PCR and Southern blotting were used to detect the expression of EBV lytic genes (immediately early genes BZLF1 and BRLF1, early genes BARF1 and BHRF1, late genes BcLF1 and BLLF1) in EBV-positive gastric carcinomas. Results:There were 13 EBV positive samples in gastric carcinomas (7.03%). No EBV positive sample was found from corresponding para-carcinomas. The difference of the EBV positivity was significant between carcinoma and corresponding adjacent carcinoma tissues(? 2= 11.0769,P=0.0009). In our series, age, pathological differentiation, clinical stages, lymph node metastasis and location of cancer were not different between EBV-positive and EBV-negative gastric carcinomas in (P=0.973, 0.141, 0.259, 0.586, 0.062, respectively), while sex was significantly different between EBV-positive and EBV-negative gastric carcinomas(? 2=5.2317,P=0.021). The EBV positivity of male was higher than that of female. Of the 13 EBV-associated samples, 7 exhibited BcLF1 transcript and 2 exhibited BHRF1 transcript. The transcripts of BZLF1 were detected in 6 cases, and those of BARF1 also in 6 cases. No BLLF1 and BRLF mRNA were detected in the 13 EBV-positive samples. Conclusions:EBV infection is associated with the development of gastric carcinoma. Lytic EBV infection occurs in part of the EBV-associated gastric carcinomas, and early genes BARF1 and BHRF1 may play an important role in the tumorigenesis of the EBV-positive gastric carcinoma.

BACKGROUND:Cerebral ischemia tolerance can promote proliferation of autologous neural stem cells in the hippocampus of cerebral infarction rats, but panaxtrial saponins effects on the proliferation of autologous neural stem cells in the brain have not been reported. OBJECTIVE:To explore the relationship of panaxtrial saponins, ischemic preconditioning and proliferation of endogenous neural stem cells in the hippocampus of rats at 7 days after cerebral infarction, and to observe the effect on neurobehavioral scores of rats after cerebral infarction. METHODS:Fifty Sprague-Dawley rats were included and randomly divided into five groups:sham group, ischemia group, ischemic control group, ischemic preconditioning group, and panaxtrial saponins group. In the latter four groups, acute models of cerebral infarction were established using Zea-Longa method. In the sham group, only an incision was made on the neck. The focal-focal ischemic tolerance models were established with twice suture method in the ischemic preconditioning and panaxtrial saponins groups. Sham operation was instead of ischemic preconditioning in the ischemic control group. In the panaxtrial saponins group, rats were given intraperitoneal injection of 100 mg/kg panaxtrial saponins at 7 days before modeling. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:After 7 days of cerebral infarction, the neurobehavioral score and the number of neural stem cells in the hippocampus were significantly increased in the ischemia group (P<0.01);compared with the ischemia group, the neurobehavioral scores were lowered in the ischemic preconditioning and panaxtrial saponins groups (P<0.01), while the number of neural stem cells in the hippocampus was increased (P<0.01). However, there was no difference between the ischemic preconditioning and panaxtrial saponins groups (P>0.05). In addition, differences in the neurobehavioral scores and the number of neural stem cells in the hippocampus were insignificant between the ischemic control group and ischemia group (P>0.05). These findings indicate that panaxtrial saponins can play a role similar to ischemic tolerance, and thus improve neurologic impairment in rats with cerebral infarction.

ObjectiveTo discuss the biomechanical properties of clavicle intramedullarynail in fixing middle fracture of clavicle and compare with the traditional plate and screw and single Kirschner wire,in order to provide scientific evidence for clinical application.MethodsFifteen adult cadaver were collected to make middle fracture of clavicle models.According to the clinical operation methods,the fracture models were divided into three groups with 5 specimens each:clavicle intramedullary nail group,plate and screwfixation group,and Kirschner wire internal fixation group.Biomechanical properties of three groups were tested and compared by experimental stress analysis method.ResultsIn the load 1000 N,the bending strength and bending stiffness of clavicle intramedullary nail group[ (57.41±4.72),( 2.28±0.17) N ] had no significant difference compared with those of plate and screw fixation group[(58.50 ±t4.14),(2.26 ±0.20) N ] (P ＞ 0.05),while had statistical significance compared with Kirschner wire internal fixation group [(51.14±4.32),(1.54±0.16) N] (P ＜ 0.05).The bending strength and bending stiffness had statistical significance between plate and screw fixation group and Kirschner wire internal fixation group (P＜ 0.05).In the torsional mechanical test,torque of clavicle intramedullary nail group had no significant difference compared with plate and screw fixation group (P ＞ 0.05 ),but had statistical significance compared with Kirschner wire internal fixation group (F =14.88,P ＜0.05).In compression test of the clavicle,the compression limit load of clavicle intramedullary nail grotup [ ( 1246±87) N ] had no statistical significance compared with plate and screw fixation group [ ( 1348±121 ) N ] ( P ＞ 0.05 ),and had significant difference compared with Kirschner wire internal fixation group [ ( 870±72 ) N ] (F =14.74,P ＜ 0.05 ).Conclusions Clavicle intramedullary nailing for treating middle fracture of clavicle can provide better biomechanical strength,stiffness and stability.Meanwhile as a minimally invasive operation,this operation method is feasible.Compared to other internal fixation methods,it has certain advantages.
