Journal of Medical Research 2017;46(3):87-90
Objective In this article,we report and discuss the clinical presentation of antithyroid drug(ATD)-induced agranulocytosis. Methods We retrospectively studied 36 cases of ATD-induced agranulocytosis over the past 14 years in PUMC hospital. Results ATD-induced agranulocytosis patient's age ranged of 16-62 years old.88.9% of ATD-induced agranulocytosis occured with a large ATD treatment.91.7% patients occured in the first three month of drug therapy.A case occured agranulocytosis when 8 months duration.94.4% patients occurs secondary infections. Conclusion This study showed that ATD-induced agranulocytosis considered to be dose dependent, not irrelevant to sex,age and the drug.

Objective To explore the effects of angled abutments on the anterior maxilla implant restoration. Methods We analyzed the biomechanical properties of implants of different sizes (Φ3.5 mm,4.0 mm and 4.5 mm in diameter;L11.5 mm and L13 mm in length)after connecting different angled abutments (0°,10°,20°,and 30°) using finite element method. Results The stresses and strains of loading parts of restorations increased and their distribution became more concentrated as the angle of abutment increased.Cortical bone of Φ3 .5 implants with smaller angle (10°or less)andΦ4.0 implants with abutments had the risk of overpassing the bone elastic threshold when the angle approached 30°.However,the cortical bone elastic deformation was within a safe range at all angles inΦ4.5 group. Conclusion We should consider the diameter of the implant when selecting angled abutments. The angled abutments are not suitable for small diameter implants. The bite force should be under control when needed. The larger angled abutments can be applied in the standard and major diameter implants and it is necessary to avoid occlusal overloading.

Objective: To compare JGW with autogenous bone when used as grafting material in maxillary sinus floor augmentation. Methods: A study was conducted by performing a bilateral maxillary sinus floor augmentation with autogenous bone and JGW(Jin Gu Wei,Golden Bone, bone substitute,Shanghai Xiaobo Tec.) on rabbits. The process of bone formation was evaluated during different periods by imageology and histomorphology methods. Results: At 2nd week the gray scale of JGW was very lower than that of autogenous bone, but no significant difference was found at 12th week. The number of osteoblasts decreased with the time,no significant difference was found at 12th week. The degradation of JGW was relatively faster. Conclusion: JGW is feasible in maxillary sinus floor augmentation.

Objective To investigate the value of 11C-choline PET-CT imaging in the diagnosis of benign and malignant prostate lesions with high PSA.Methods A retrospective analysis of 11C-choline PET-CT imaging results of 43 prostate lesions cases with high PSA, including 21 cases of benign prostatic hyperplasia, 22 cases of prostate cancer, all cases were diagnosed by histopathology , data was accessed 5min after injection of 11C-choline , if suspected of metastasis, whole body 11C-choline PET-CT imaging was done.Standardized uptake value ( SUV) of prostatic hyperplasia and prostate cancer were calculated and analysed. Results More uniform uptake of the imaging agent showed in benign prostatic hyperplasia, uptake in the mild metabolic or nodular prostate symmetry slightly increased, the average SUV value 1.70 ± 1.09;focal asymmetry abnormal imaging agent uptake or diffuse abnormal uptake of the imaging agent of prostate cancer manifested in 11C-choline PET/CT imaging for prostate heterogeneity were increased, the average SUV values 3.29 ±1.55;The two groups had statistically significant.Four pelvic and retroperitone-al lymph node metastasis cases ,nine cases of bone metastasis and three cases of lung metastases was found in 11C-choline PET/CT imaging. Conclusions 11C-choline PET-CT imaging is not only a better differ-ential noninvasive imaging diagnosis method of benign and malignant prostate lesions with high PSA, but al-so has contribution to accurate preoperative staging of prostate cancer.

The characteristics of human body impact response and several impact test objects are analyzed. The strengths and weaknesses of different research methods applied to different human landing impact test objects are contrasted. The relevant experimental findings and evaluation criteria of domestic and international tests on human landing impact are analyzed. The results show that the selected human substitutes in several research tests have some flaws, so it is urgent to formulate regulations on the load characteristics, individual characteristics, the posture of the test object and the protection status, and it is recessary to study impact tolerance and protective methods of corresponding operating personnel for different transports.

Objective To investigate the relationship between psychological quality and performance capacity of the crew in armored equipment so as to provide scientific evidence for the training of crew .Methods The psychological quality of 82 crew members of armored cavalry was tested and analyzed by neurobehavioral testers and questionnaires .Results and Conclusion The education level and age had no significant effect on the performance capacity among the armored crew . The test results of psychological quality parameters showed the same trend as the performance capacity of the crew , but their psychological health status had obvious effect on the performance capacity .The psychological quality of the crew had great influence on their performance capacity ,so we should pay attention to mental intervention ,enhance psychological protection ability of the crew , and improve their combat effectiveness continuously .

BACKGROUND:Despite tissue repair with a kind of stem cels has achieved great outcomes, but the combination of two or more kinds of stem cels to construct tissue-engineered bone is stil rare.
OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the efficacy of tissue-engineered bone constructed based on combining adipose-derived stem cels with bone marrow mesenchymal stem cels and alogenic bone in rabbit posterior intertransverse lumbar interbody fusion models.
METHODS:Seventy-five New Zealand rabbits were randomly divided into five groups. L5,6 interbody fusion models were made in each group. Then, these five groups were respectively treated as folows (1) group A: bone marrow mesenchymal stem cels/alograft iliac bone with adipose-derived stem cels; (2) group B: bone marrow mesenchymal stem cels/alograft iliac bone with normal saline; (3) group C: alograft iliac bone with adipose-derived stem cels; (4) group D: alograft iliac bone with normal saline; group E: autologous iliac bone alone. Each group was detected by PET/CT to contrast the standard uptake value at 1, 3, 5 weeks postoperatively.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: PET/CT images showed varying degrees of bone fusion and bone metabolism enhancement in the five groups. With time, the standard uptake value was increased in each group, and except the group D, the standard uptake value was higher in al the groups at 3, 5 weeks than at 1 week (P < 0.05). There was no difference in the standard uptake value of al the five groups at weeks 3 and 5 after operation (P > 0.05). The standard uptake value of the group A was better than that in the group B and group E (P < 0.05). Taken together, the combination of adipose-derived stem cels and bone marrow mesenchymal stem cels for rapid production of tissue-engineered bone has good osteogenesis and vascularization.
